MATERIALS:
Yarn – 1ball of 8ply acrylic yarn 100g
Knitting Needles: 4mm
Finishing: Darning Needle, Scissors
STITCH ABBREVIATIONS:
K2 = Knit 2 Stitch
P2 = Purl 2 Stitch
PATTERN:
- Create a slip knot, cast on 112 stitches.
- K2, P2, repeat across the row.
- Repeat step 2 for a total of 80 rows.
- Cut the yarn from the ball leaving 40cm to work with. Thread the yarn through the darning needle. Transfer all the stitches on the knitting needle to the yarn by threading the darning needle through the loops of knitting a few at a time.
- Pull on your yarn like a drawstring to gather the stitches tightly together. Make stitches into the top of the beanie with your needle to close the gap. Stitch down the sides of the beanie.
- Use the elastic loop on your porn to secure it at the top.
