- Installing the smart plug
- Plug your lamp or device into the Di0 plug, and the Di0 plugs into your wall socket.
- Turn the power switch of your device to the ON position.
Changing the battery in your remote control
- Open the small compartment at the back of the remote control.
- Replace the old battery with a new 3V CR2032 battery
Warming: Risk of explosion if the battery is not replaced correctly.
Replace only with the same type or an equivalent type.
This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell
battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and
can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children.
If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and
keep it away from children.
If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of
the body, seek immediate medical attention.
Linking the plug with a DiO 1.0 device
This product is compatible with all Di0 1.0 peripherals operating under the
DiO 1.0 radio protocol, and with the Di0 Smart Home main unit for control
through your smartphone.
Using the Di0 main unit, you can control your home wherever you are through
your smartphone. For more information visit:

**Linking the plug with remote control, switch, or DiO 1.0 detector
**
- Connect your DiO plug with the lamp plugged into the wall socket.
- Press on the plug button for 3 seconds, until the LED flashes.
- Within S seconds, press the ‘ON’ (I) button on the remote control, wireless switch, or DIO
1.0 sensor, the lamp flashes twice to confirm the association.
Warning: If you do not press the ON’ (I) button of the device within 5 seconds, the plug will exit learning mode. You must restart the procedure in order to link the device with the plug. Connect your audio plug with the lamp plugged into the wall socket.
The plug can be linked with up to 3 different audio devices. If the memory is full, you should delete it partially or completely to add a new transmitter.
Linking the module to the DiO hub
Link your plug to your DO Smart Home hub unit to control your lighting with your smartphone and create your scenarios, for example, to turn your lights on/off at a specific time or simulate someone being at home while you are away. Please refer to your main unit manual to add the plug.
Deleting a DiO 1.0 device
If you want to delete a device:
- Press on the plug button between 3 to 6 seconds.
- The led indicator then flashes for S seconds. Within this time, approach the remote control and press the off (0) button of the desired channel to delete the code.
- The lamp connected to the receiver flashes twice to confirm the deletion and the LED of the plug stops flashing
Reset
To delete all registered devices:
- Press on the plug button for more than 6 seconds.
- The led indicator then flashes for 5 seconds. Within this time, approach the remote control and press the off (0) button of the’Group'(G) channel to delete all codes.
- The lamp connected to the receiver flashes twice to confirm the deletion and the LED of the module stops flashing.
Use
On/Off individual function (channel 1,2,3): Press the ‘I’ button once to
switch on or the ‘0’ button to switch off.
Group function: Press the ‘I’ or ‘0’ button on channel G to switch on/
off all the lamps or devices registered on the remote control (on channels 1
to 3).
The plug can be controlled individually or in conjunction with other receivers (e.g.: a Di0 switch closes the shutter linked to a Di0 module and at the same time turns on the lamp connected to the plug, and the Di0 remote control turns the lamp on and off individually).
Troubleshooting
The lighting does not come on when pressing the remote control or switch, or when the detector is activated:
- Check that the plug is correctly connected to the main socket and the power supply.
- Check the polarity of the battery (ies) in the device and/or that they are not depleted.
- Make sure that the lamp or electrical device is switched on.
- Make sure the memory is not full (max. 3 remote controls per plug).
Important: A minimum distance of 1-2 m is necessary between two DiO
receivers (module, socket, and/or bulb). The range between the plug and the
DiO device may be reduced by the thickness of the walls or an existing
wireless environment.
Warning: Do not use it in a damp location.
