How the Solar Light Work:

The solar light has a solar panel that converts sunlight into electricity. During the day, the converted electricity is stored in the rechargeable Ni-Mh batteries. At night, the solar light is powered by the batteries using the electricity stored during the day. The operating time depends on geographical location, daily weather conditions, and season. For instance, the solar light absorbs less sunlight in winter; the operating time will be reduced accordingly.
How to choose the Right Location
Install the solar light in a location with full, direct sunlight. Ensure that the installation location is away from other nighttime light sources such as street or porch lamps. These sources may prevent solar light from automatically turning on.
Charging the battery
For optimum performance, it is best to install the solar light in full, direct sunlight and let it charge for 10 to 12 hours before the first-time use. Allow the light to run at least 10 days of entire charging and discharging to reach the maximum capacity of the battery.
How to assembly the solar light:

Twist and remove the top cover (A) from the housing (B) counterclockwise. Turn the switch on. (FIRST TIME USE ONLY.)
Firmly slide the pole (C) into the solar housing (B).
Attach the pole (C) to stake (D).
Push the assembly firmly into the ground.

Storage tips:
During prolonged storage, the solar light must be fully discharged and charged once every month or must be replaced with a new rechargeable battery when ready for use. For best performance and longer battery life, do not store prolonged periods.

Cleaning of solar panels:

It is important that the solar panel is kept free of dirt, debris or even snow as this will not allow the battery to fully recharge and therefore not produce as much light. This could also shorten the life of the battery. Clean regularly with a dampened cloth or paper towel. Check the battery periodically throughout the year, especially after the winter period, and replace if you need to.

How to replace the battery:

Twist and remove the housing (i) from the top cover (ii).
Remove the battery cover (iiii). Replace the old battery with a fresh AA Ni-MH 200mAh rechargeable battery.
Replace the battery cover (iii) and the housing (i).
Recycle the used battery or dispose of it properly. Do not puncture, short circuit, or dispose of in fire.

IMPORTANT
When you receive solar lights, please press the ON button then place the light cover upside down at the table to keep them in the darkness to check whether the lights will light up or not. Situation 1: the light is lighting, please placed them in the sunny area (without any shadow) to absorb full direct sunlight. Situation 2: the light isn’t light up, please reset the battery or allow at least 3 days and nights of charging and discharging for the battery to charge to its full capacity.
Problem1: The night runtime for the lights is short.

Solution1 :The battery is not fully charged. Install the solar light in an area where it can receive the maximum amount of full direct sunlight.
Solution2: The battery is worn out. Replace the old batteries with fresh ones.

Problem2 : The solar light does not turn on at night.

Solution1: The location is close to other light sources. Relocate the solar light to get full direct sunlight or eliminate the other light sources.
Solution2: Reset the battery or allow at least 3 days and nights of charging and discharging for the battery to charge to its full capacity.

Problem3: Find no stake.
Solution: The stake may be placed in the tube, please check it.

MORE TIPS:

For first-time use, let the solar light charge for a fully sunny day for the rechargeable battery to operate properly. Allow at least 10 days and nights of charging and discharging for the battery to charge to its full capacity.
If there has been no sunlight during the day, the battery will not be recharged for operation at night. If the solar light does not receive enough sunlight one day, it will recharge the next sunny day and resume normal operation.
The selected location should not be near strong lighting sources such as streetlights or garden lights. This may cause the light to turn off automatically as there is a sensor inside the solar light that switches off the light once it senses any lighting source.
Store the solar light where it can receive some sunlight or room light each day, as the battery needs light to maintain a charge during storage. Do not store the solar light in a place where without a source of light as this will damage the battery and prevent its ability to hold a charge.
