Introduction

HOW DYNAMIC MICROPHONE WORKS
When used in reverse, a dynamic microphone functions as a speaker. By altering sound pressure, the diaphragm is shifted. As a result, the coil is moved, cutting the flux lines coming from the magnet and causing current to flow. Therefore, you extract energy out of the coil rather than putting electrical energy into it (as in a speaker).
HOW TO SETUP CARDIOID MIC
Cardioid-type: cup one ear, plug the other, and use the open ear to listen intently. Once you’ve located the sweet spot, position the cardioid mic so that its capsule is facing the sound source while perpendicular to your hand. This works well with bidirectional microphones as well as any cardioid-type microphones.
HOW TO TRACE CARDIOID
Fix a point on the moving circle, then as it circles the circumference of the still one, trace the route of that point. That point follows a cardioid path.
HOW TO TALK IN CARDIOID MIC
Cardioid microphones can pick up sounds where they are pointed as if by magic, but they reject noises to the side and back. Try speaking into a cardioid microphone while listening to the output, for instance. When you speak into the front of the microphone, your voice will be the loudest and when you speak into the back, the quietest.

This dynamic microphone support 1/4 inch and 1/8 inch microphone input jack. Therefore, if your guitar amplifier have these microphone input jacks, then it can work smoothly with it.

I’ve never seen a cell phone that has a jack that would accept this microphone’s plug. Older phones have 1/8” jacks, but they are for headphones, not mics.
