  • Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
  • Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack (as applicable) except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.
  • Make sure that the massage device, the plug and the cable do not come into contact with water or other fluids.
  • Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
  • Do not operate massager with wet hands, in the bathtub or shower, or in or near a swimming pool or the like.
  • If the massager falls into water, do not try to retrieve it. Immediately disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  • Only operate the massage device for a maximum of 15 minutes continuously. After 15 minutes of operation, shut it off and let it cool for at least 15 minutes before resuming.
  • Never leave the device unsupervised, particularly if children are around. · Never operate the appliance with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like. Never operate on a soft surface such as a bed or couch where the air openings may be blocked.
  • Never use the device under covers, such as blankets or pillows.
  • Excessive heating can occur and cause fire or injury to persons.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless supervised.
  • Do not disassemble, repair, and transform this product, or it might cause malfunction or electric shock.
  • Do not insert any objects into the opening in the device or into the moving parts. Ensure that the moving parts can move freely at all times.
  • Do not force or jam any part of your body, in particular your fingers, between the moving massage elements or their holder in the device.
  • When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
  • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
  • Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 130 °C may cause explosion. The temperature of 130 °C can be replaced by the temperature of 265 °F.
  • Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

CAUTION – To reduce the risk of personal injury or product/property damage:

  • Switch the device off and disconnect the power supply after every use and before cleaning.
  • Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the appliance to a service center for examination and repair.
  • Keep hair, jewelry, and loose clothing away from the massage head. · Avoid contact with sharp or pointed objects.
  • Make sure that the device is not too close to heat sources such as ovens, radiators, or direct sunlight.

Notes on electromagnetic compatibility
  • The device is suitable for use in all environments listed in these instructions for use, including domestic environments.
  • The use of the device may be limited in the presence of electromagnetic disturbances. This could result in issues such as error messages or the failure of the display/device.
  • Avoid using this device directly next to other devices or stacked on top of other devices, as this could lead to faulty operation. If, however, it is necessary to use the device in the manner stated, this device as well as the other devices must be monitored to ensure they are working properly.
  • The use of accessories other than those specified or provided by the manufacturer of this device can lead to an increase in electromagnetic emissions or a decrease in the device’s electromagnetic immunity; this can result in faulty operation.
  • Failure to comply with the above can impair the performance of the device.
Battery Handling Safety Precautions
  • Protect batteries from excessive heat.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak.
  • If a battery has leaked, put on protective gloves and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
  • Keep batteries away from children and pets. Batteries may be harmful if swallowed. Should a child or pet swallow a battery, seek medical assistance immediately.
  • Do not disassemble, split or crush the batteries.
  • Only use chargers specified in the instructions for use.
  • Only charge the device using the supplied AC adapter.
  • In order to achieve as long a battery service life as possible, fully charge the battery at least 2 times a year.
  • Always switch the device off in advance of charging.
  • Batteries must be charged correctly prior to use. The instructions from the manufacturer and the specifications in these instructions for use regarding correct charging must be observed at all times.

Getting to Know your Instrument

Using this Massage Gun, you can provide yourself or others with a soothing, effective trigger point massage with no help required. Trigger point massages can relax the muscles or be stimulating and work effectively to relieve fatigued muscles. The Massage Gun provides a powerful, intensive massage for the thighs, calves, shoulders, arms and back region (excluding the spine).

To Set Up

Before using the Massager for the first time, charge it first for a minimum of 3 ½ hours. To do so, proceed as follows:

  1. Remove the Massager and all massage heads from the packaging.
  2. Check the massager, power adapter, and massage heads for damage.
  3. Ensure device is switched off and then attach the AC Adapter to the jack on the bottom of the handle. Plug the AC Adapter into a standard 110 VAC electrical outlet.
  4. Route the power cord safely so that there is no risk of anyone tripping over it.
  5. During charging, all five LEDs will flash from right to left. When fully charged, all LEDs will illuminate steadily in green. A full charge will last about three hours. Charge the Massage Gun again when one red LED flashes.

To Use

NOTE: This device has an auto shutoff feature, which will shut the massager off after 15 minutes of use. To reactivate, press and hold the Power Button for 2 seconds.

Massage treatment should feel pleasant at all times. Some redness underneath the skin may occur, which is a normal effect. In rare instances, areas of redness may also occur on the skin. If you experience excessive skin irritation, stop using the Massage Gun and consult a doctor. Depending on how tense/ tight your muscles are, we recommend using the device for approx. 10-15 minutes on the area you wish to treat (legs, shoulders, arms and back).

Choosing a Massage Head

Refer to the “Parts and Controls” section to select an appropriate Massage Head. If a different Massage Head is already in place on the Massager, pull it straight out of the socket to remove. Press the selected Massage Head firmly onto the Massager until it clicks into place.

  1. Slide the Power Switch on the bottom of the handle to the “ON” position.

  2. Press and hold the Power Button for 2 seconds; the Battery Level Indicator will illuminate and the Massager will activate.

  3. To change intensity levels, press the Power Button. If the Massager is on the highest setting, pressing the Power Button again will shut the Massager off. To shut the Massage Gun off at any time, press and hold the Power Button for about two seconds; the Battery Level Indicator and massage function will shut off.

  4. After using the massager for a maximum of 15 minutes, slide the Power Switch on the bottom of the massager to the “OFF” position, unplug the AC Adapter from the electrical outlet, and let the massager cool.

CAUTION: The massage should be pleasant and relaxing at all times. Stop the massage or
change the position of the massage device if you find it is painful or unpleasant. NOTE: Do not use the massage device right before going to bed. The massage can have an invigorating effect and may cause difficulties in falling asleep.

Care, Maintenance and Disposal

Unplug massager and let cool. Wipe exterior with a soft, damp cloth.

WARNING

  • Disconnect the device from the electrical outlet before cleaning it.
  • Only clean the appliance in the manner specified. Liquids must never be allowed to enter the device or accessories.
  • Do not use the device until it is completely dry.
  • Do not clean the device in the dishwasher.
  • Do not use any abrasive cleaning products or hard brushes.

Storage: Keep the massage device in a cool and dry place out of the reach of children. When possible, store the device in its original packaging in a dry, climate-controlled environment out of direct sunlight.

Disposal

Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with local regulations. If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.

Troubleshooting Guide

Problem Solution
The Massager stops during use. Make sure that you do not exert too much

pressure on the Massage Gun when using it. If you exert too much pressure, the device will stop briefly.

Limited Lifetime Warranty For Original Purchaser

Your Beurer Massage Gun, model MG 180, is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product under normal conditions of intended use and service. This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser and does not extend to retailers or subsequent owners.

We will, at our option, repair or replace the Beurer Massage Gun, model MG 180, without additional charge, for any part or parts covered by these written warranties. No refunds will be given. Repair or replacement is our only responsibility and your only remedy under this written warranty. If replacement parts for defective materials are not available, Beurer reserves the right to make product substitutions in lieu of repair or replacement.

For warranty service contact our customer service department at 1-800-536-0366 or at info@beurer.com to provide a description of the problem. If the problem is deemed to be within the scope of the limited lifetime warranty, you will be asked to mail the product at your costs in its original package with proof of purchase, your name, address and phone number. If the problem is not deemed to be within the scope of the limited lifetime warranty, we will provide a quotation for repair respectively replacement and return shipping fee.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; misapplication; lack of reasonable care with respect to the product; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; old worn batteries; normal wear; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part as a result of failure to comply with instructions for use or to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance; transit damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of Beurer.
