INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Dear customer, thank you for purchasing our product. Please read the operating
instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep
these instructions including the warranty, the receipt, and, if possible, the
box with the internal packing.
SAFETY WARNING
Appliance location
-
Do not use the appliance in bathrooms in zones 0, 1, and 2 (Fig. 3)!
-
Do not place the appliance under the electrical socket. For safety reasons, leave the minimum distance of 0,3 m between the appliance and any obstacle on any side (furniture, walls, etc.).
-
Do not immerse the cleaner in water or other liquids (not even partially) and must not be used in close proximity of bathtubs, showers, basins, or other containers with water, including pools! It must not be used in a damp or wet environment! If the cleaner should still fall in the water, do not take it out! Unplug the plug of the supply cord from the socket first and only then take out the device.
In such cases, the device shall be taken to an expert service center to be checked for safety and correct functionality. -
Observe optimal air humidity in the room. Too high humidity may support the growth of unfavorable biological organisms and fungus.
-
Never leave water in the containers if you don’t use the appliance.
Clean the water container and dry it before each storage of the appliance. Clean the appliance before the next use. -
WARNING: Microorganisms that may be present in water or in the environment, in which the appliance is used or stored, can breed in the water container and in case of their dispersion in the air can cause serious health risks, unless the water is being changed and the container is regularly cleaned every 3 days.
-
If you use the appliance daily, be particular about regular cleaning the container at least once every 3 days. Remove possible deposits and scale.
-
Do not use the device in places (e.g. workshops, manufacturing plants, garages, or other technical rooms) where there are hot, flammable, and explosive materials (e.g. ashes, burning cigarette butts, gasoline, diluents, dissolvent and aerosol fumes) or lubricants (e.g. fats, oils), chemicals, caustic agents (e.g. acids, dissolvent, paints). Sucking in the flammable and explosive gases, the filters or the cleaner can be damaged or can cause fire, explosion, or electrical shock. The air is ionized by microscopic el. sparking (so-called corona discharge) which can set flammable substances on fire.
-
Do not use textile or other materials (e.g. drapes, curtains, blankets) to cover this device.
If the air inlets and outlets are covered, it will cause abnormal operation and may lead to fire or other accidents. Do not put the cleaner on soft surfaces (e.g. bed, towels, kitchen towels, carpets) while it is on. -
This appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
-
Always place the device on a flat, dry surface and use it only in a vertical position.
Do not move the device during operation. -
To ensure flawless circulation of all the air in the room, do not use the device in niches, narrow hallways, or behind furniture.
-
Do not place the device near gas appliances, fireplaces, and open flames. Not even near fireplaces that are not currently in use. Dust and soot may circulate through the cleaner and consequently settle in the device and the room. We do not recommend placing the device anywhere near burning candles, paraffin lamps, etc.
-
Place the device at a good distance (at least 2 meters) from a computer, television, or radio.
You can thus avoid interference and distortion when operating these devices. -
Do not place the appliance directly under a smoke detector, as its sensibility might be decreased.
-
Whenever you are moving the appliance, grasp it by the handles situated at the top side parts.
-
Only use the appliance in the working position at places with no risk of overturning and in a sufficient distance from other objects (such as curtains, drapes, etc.), heat sources (e.g. fireplace, heater, stove, cooker, radiators, hot air ovens, grills) and wet surfaces (e. g. sinks, washbasins).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
CONTROLS
Remove any packaging material from the appliance, including filter packaging,
etc. After switching the purifier into standby mode, plug the power cable into
an electrical socket. Acoustic signal sounds and light indicators go on for a
moment.
ON/OFF button B1 – by pressing the button, the purifier will switch on in
the basic filtration mode (without ionization, speed 2 ). When you press the
button again, the settings will be cleared and the purifier will switch back
to standby mode.
Note You turn on / off the pollution indicator A6 while the appliance is
on by pressing the button for 5 seconds.
Fan speed button B2 – by pressing the button, you change the fan speed at
4 levels of intensity (… middle > high > turbo > > low > …). The fifth option
is an AUTO mode.
The AUTO mode identifies the quality of air in the room and adjusts the
filtration (fan) speed accordingly.
Child safety lock B3 – To activate and deactivate the lock of the button
control, keep the button B3 pressed (for 3 seconds).
Ionization button B4 – when you press the button, the ionizer will be
activated and start ionizing the air passing through. When you press the
button again, the feature will switch off.
Filter Exchange button B5 – press long (3 sec.) to restart (to zero) the
pensionable service of the filter. Use it only when the filter indicator light
comes on, alternatively in the case of earlier filter Exchange.
Timer button B6 – by pressing the button, delayed shut-off in 1, 4, or 8
hours will be activated.
After this time, the purifier will turn off automatically and switch to
standby mode. When you press the button repeatedly, you set: 1hr – 4hr – 8hr –
feature OFF …
SLEEP button B7 – when you press the button, the purifier will be
activated in the lowest speed mode and the backlight of all indicators will be
off. This feature is suitable for minimum disruption when sleeping. In this
mode, it is possible to use only buttons B1, B3, and B7.
Note: An active function is signalized by lit corresponding indicator.
AIR CONDITION INDICATION
Air condition signal A6 visually shows the level of pollution by means of
three colors.
Pollution indicator (A6) color | Blue | Green | Red |
---|---|---|---|
Air pollution | good | compliant | bad |
Fan speed | low | medium | high |
LIGHT SENSOR (B8)
It monitors the intensity of light in the closest surroundings. If the
appliance is in the AUTO mode, it automatically switches into a SLEEP mode,
when it gets dark. When the down breaks, it switches again into a normal mode.
HUMIDIFYING FUNCTION
If you pour water into the A9 container, water will gradually flow into tank
A7, where it is absorbed by the A8 filter. Flowing air will gradually dry out
the filter and thus the relative humidity of blown air increases. To remove
(including pouring water and maintenance) all parts proceed as in picture 2.
While removing humidifying tank A7, proceed very carefully so that you do not
pour its content into the lower part of the appliance. In order to insert
parts back into the appliance, proceed with the reversed way.
You activate the function basically by pouring water into container A9. The appliance notices the water and turns on the humidifying indicator B18. When the indicator turns off, you need to pour water to continue. Replace the water which was not used regularly!
AROMATHERAPY FUNCTION
Slight an aroma container A13 out of the appliance, open it (pic. 2) and add a
few drops of aroma oil on the filter that is placed in the container (in case
of maintenance, put it back in the container). Close the container and put it
back into the appliance. Thanks to this the flowing air will be aromatized.
FILTERS EXCHANGE AND CLEANING
To replace or maintain the filters, simply proceed according to Fig. 2. In
order to insert parts back to the appliance, proceed with the reversed way.
When the filter replacement indicator B15 comes on, it indicates the end of
the filter service life. The HEPA filter indicator (marked as 2 on the panel)
will come on after 2500 hours of operation, which corresponds to approximately
six months of intensive use – after this time, the filter needs to be replaced
(unless it was replaced earlier due to contamination and higher dust level in
the surroundings). The carbon filter indicator (marked as 3 on the panel) will
come on after 2500 hours of operation and the humidification filter A8 (marked
as 4 on the panel) will come on after 2500 hours of operation. The appliance
also features notification of regular pre-filter A5 (1) and humidifying filter
A8 (4). When the filter cleaning indicator B14 turns on, clean the filters. To
restart the indication, press the button B5 and hold it for several seconds.
MAINTENANCE
The maintenance of this air purifier resides in cleaning the unit´s body, cleaning the humidifying part´s set, and exchange of filters. Before you start any maintenance or exchange of filters, turn off the appliance at first, and unplug it.
Power unit
Only clean the power unit body with a slightly damped cloth with a non-
aggressive cleaning agent added. Do not allow water to get inside! Let the
purifier thoroughly dry out before using it again.
HEPA filter A3
To guarantee proper function and air purification quality, the HEPA filters
must be replaced in regular intervals. Never wash the filter to avoid reducing
the filtration capacity of the filter; only knock it out, vacuum or blow it
with compressed air – however, this will not fully restore the filtration
capacity of the filter.
Order code for a new filter: ETA556990100
Carbon filter A4
So that the carbon filter maintains its filtration properties, it needs to be
replaced at regular intervals. Do not wash the filter, it can only be cleaned
with a soft brush, vacuum cleaned, or cleaned with compressed air. However,
the filter will not regain its odor absorption ability this way.
Order code for a new filter: ETA556990200
Pre-filter A5
This filter can be washed under running water, shaken out, vacuum cleaned, or
cleaned with compressed air (however, pay attention to its intensity so as not
to damage the filter
as a result of high pressure). Clean the filter depending on the filter
cleaning B14 indicator.
Order code for a new filter: ETA556900010
If the purifier is used more often (e.g. intensively every day), faster contamination of the filter needs to be anticipated. Likewise, if the purifier is used in a highly polluted environment, the filter life will be shorter and vice versa. Please adjust the filter replacement frequency to the given conditions and the current state of the filters, preferably when the relevant filter replacement indicator B15 comes on.
Pollution sensor A1
Approximately after every 6 months of use, clean the pollution sensor with a
soft brush.
Clean the sensor and its surroundings with a wet swab. After that, dry the
sensor and its surroundings with a dry swab.
Humidifying parts set
Clean the humidifying filter A8 with the soft brush, rinse both sides with
water and let it dry out. Clean the filter depending on filter cleaning B14
indicator, or earlier if needed.
Order code for a new filter: ETA556900130
You can clean the humidifying tank A7 for example with a soft brush and a tissue. Use a neutral detergent and rinse with clean water. Clean the tank every 3 days if you use the purifier on daily basis. If the purifier is not used so often, clean it preferably together with an A8 filter.
Pollution indicator filter and aroma filter
Rinse them from time to time in clean water and let them dry out properly.
Order code for a new filter: ETA556900050 and ETA556900060
Expert service must do the large maintenance or intervene into inside parts of the appliance! Non-observance of the instructions of the manufacturer cancels the right for guarantee repair!
