Product Usage Instructions

Power On / Off

  1. Connect the plug to the power source.
  2. Push the ON/ OFF button (7 in picture 3) to position 1 to start the Tool.
  3. Adjust the rotation speed using the manual governor on the Tool (8 in picture 3). Turn it right to slow down and left to speed up.
  4. Proceed with your work.
  5. When finished working, turn off the tool by pushing the ON/OFF button (7 in picture 3) to the “Off” position.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Before performing any maintenance or cleaning, ensure that the plug is disconnected from the power source.

  • Keep the ventilation slots clean. Use a dry or slightly damp cloth for cleaning.
  • Periodically oil the moving elements.
  • Do not use caustic agents for cleaning plastic components.
  • If any faulty element is found, contact the Manufacturer’s Assistance Service for replacement.

The present instruction manual is aimed at users, to be informed how to use the power tool properly. This manual presents the main instructions for: Using the Tool correctly; Making cleaning, control and maintenance interventions; Underline the most elementary safety and accident-prevention regulations Keep the present instruction manual with care!

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all the safety instructions carefully! The non-compliance with the under mentioned instructions can cause electric shock, fire and/or serious injuries.

Working Area:
Keep the working area clean and well illuminated. Obstructed and dark areas can provoke incidents. Do not activate the Tool in explosive ambiences, for instance in presence of liquids, gas or inflammable dust. The tool, in fact, generates sparks which can cause dust or gas ignition. Keep children and strangers at a distance when the Tool is working. Distractions can cause the control loss of the tool.Do not use the Tool on stairs and ladders.

Electric Security:
The Tool’s plug must correspond to the socket. Do not modify the plug, in electric shock risk. Avoid any body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, kitchen appliances and refrigerators, otherwise electric shock risk increases. The Tool was not conceived for external use and cannot be used in presence of water, squirts or spatters of any sort of liquids. In particular do not expose the Tool to the rain and do not use it in humid places. Water inside the tool makes electric shock risk higher. Do not mishandle the cable. Never use the cable to carry, pull or disconnect the tool from the socket. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or twisted cables increase electric shock risk.

Personal Security:
Never distract yourself, check what you are doing and use good sense while employing alcohol or medicines. Negligence while using the tool can provoke personal injuries even serious. Use appropriate personal safety devices, in particular the under mentioned ones: Avoid accidental ignition. Make sure that the switch is on the OFF position before connecting the Tool to the power source. Always remove the regulation key before turning the Tool on. Do not lose the balance and always keep the right position. In this way you can better control the tool even in case of unexpected situations. Get dressed appropriately. Do not put on wide clothes or jewels. Keep hair, garments and gloves away from moving parts. As a matter of facts wide clothes, jewels or long hair could get entangled in moving parts

Use and maintenance:

  • Do not force the tool and use the proper accessory among those available, according to the operation to be carried out.
  • Do not use the tool if the ON/OFF switch does not turn correctly on.
  • In this case please apply to the Assistance Service.
  • Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any regulation, change of accessory or maintenance intervention.
  • Keep the Tool out of children’s’ reach and do not permit it to be used by unskilled people who have not read these instructions.
  • The tool is dangerous if used by inexpert people.
  • Execute the necessary maintance.
  • Verify the possible wrong configuration or blocking of the moving parts, as well as the breakage of the components or any other condition that could influence the functioning of the tool.
  • If damalged, repair the tool before using it.
  • In case of malfunctioning, do not try to open the tool but apply to the Assistance Service.
  • Keep the cuuting tools sharpened and clean for an efficient performance and a safe use.
  • Follow the present instruction manual for changing accessories.
  • Verify the power cable periodically and, if damaged, let it be replaced by the Assistance Service.
  • Keep the handle dry and clean, in particular from grease and oil.
  • Use the Tool the accessories, the drills, etc. in conformity to what is reported in this instruction manual, keeping into consideration the processing conditions as well as the operation to be carried out.
  • The use of the tool for different operations from those expected could provoke dangerous situations.

The use of accessories which are not included in the present kit and whose use is not described in this instruction manual, could imply the break of the Tool resulting dangerous to people.

Assistance

The Tool must be repaired by skilled technicians using only original spare parts, this assures the constant safety. To this purpose refer to the Assistance Service.

  • Do not use and/or turn off instantly the Tool in case of:
  • Defective plug or faulty power cable, or if the wire has been damaged.
  • Defective switch.
  • Overproduction of sparkles from the brush or from the sparkles arc in the collector.
  • Smoke or bad smell caused by burnt insulating materials.

ACCESSORIES REPLACEMENT

Before replacing any accessory, according to the operation to be carried out,verify that the plug has been disconnected from the power source.

  1. Block the shaft rotation by pushing the block button (1 in picture 1) and, at the same time, rotate counter-clockwise the closing screw (2 in picture 1) which blocks the accessory in order to take it out completely. Remove both the accessory and the mandrel by using the regulation key (2 in picture 1).
  2. Among the mandrels available inside the kit (for example 3 in picture 2), get the most suitable one for the accessory to be used (for example 6 in picture 2) . Insert the mandrel in the Tool shaft (4 in picture 2) the insert the accessory first in the closing screw (5 in picture 2) and finally in the mandrel.
  3. Block the shaft rotation by pushing the block button (1 in picture 1) and at the same time rotate clockwise the closing screw (5 in picture 2) in order to block the accessory. Use theregulation key for this purpose (2 in picture 1).

Before using the Tool verify that the accessory is correctly locked up by the closing screw.

POWER ON / OFF

  1. Connect the plug to the power source.
  2. Push the ON/ OFF button (7 in picture 3) to the position 1. In this way the Tool will start working.
  3. Adjust the rotation speed using the manual governor on the Tool (8 in picture 3); turn it right to slow down, turn it left to speed up.
  4. Proceed working.
  5. When finishing working, turn off the tool by pushing the ON/OFF button ( 7 in picture 3) to position „0“ Off-Position.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Before making any maintenance or cleaning intervention, check that the plug has been duly disconnected from the power source.

  • Always keep clean the aeration slots.
  • Cleaning must be done by using a dry or slightly damp cloth.
  • Oil the moving elements periodically.
  • Do not use any caustic agents for cleaning plastic components.
  • Any faulty element must be replaced by the Manufacturer’s Assistance Service.

The packaging material is reusable.
