PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CHARGING

We recommend to fully charge the battery before first use of the earphones. USB-C cable to charge the earphones. Maximum charging voltage and current are Charge the earphones when the LED indicator (4) flashes red. An acoustic signal about the last several minutes of operation. It takes approximately 2 hours to battery. During charging, the LED indicator remains red (4) and turns off once fully complete

SWITCHING THE EARPHONES ON AND CONNECTING TO BLUETOOTH

  1. Press and hold (4 seconds) the multifunction button (2) to switch on the earphones.
  2. Wait until the LED indicator (4) starts blinking blue-red and the acoustic signal sounds. Now, the earphones are in pairing mode.
  3. Activate Bluetooth on your device and search for „Niceboy HIVE XL 3“ in the list of available devices. The device will connect to the earphones. A successful pairing is announced by an acoustic prompt and the LED indicator starts blinking blue slowly with an interval of 10 seconds.

Note
The earphones will connect to the last paired device automatically. For battery saving reasons, the earphones will turn off after 4 minutes automatically, if the connection to the device is lost or no connection to a device is established within this period of time.

SWITCHING THE EARPHONES OFF

To turn off the earphones, press and hold (5 seconds) the multifunction button (2) until the acoustic signal sounds and the LED indicator (4) lights up red.

MUSIC CONTROLS

  • Playback/pause: short-push the multifunction button. (2)
  • Next track: long-push button „+“. (1)
  • Previous track: long-push button „-“. (3)
  • Volume up: short-push button „+“. (1)
  • Volume down: short-push button „-“. (3)

BASS BOOST MODE

Short-push buttons „+“ and „-“ at the same time to activate the bass boost mode. An acoustic prompt will announce the activation of the mode.Press both buttons again to deactivate the mode.

PHONE CALLS

Short-press the multifunction button to answer and end phone calls. You can reject an incoming call by pressing the multifunction button for approximately 3 seconds.
Note: Some mobile phones have calls preset to their own microphone and earphones. Make the selection according to the instructions in your mobile phone in such a case.

SIRI AND GOOGLE ASSISTANT

Activate these functions in stand-by mode or during music playback by double- pressing the multifunction button.

CONNECTING TO THE APP

  1. Download the app by scanning the QR code using your mobile phone, or search for Niceboy ION in the mobile app store and download the app.
  2. Start the Niceboy ION app and sign up with a new account or use your existing account.
  3. Proceed to the next step Add device to set the password.
  4. Switch on Bluetooth; nearby devices will be found based on the strength of the signal.
  5. Press the + button
  6. Wait for the prompt Connection
  7. Adding the device successful: completed is diplayed
  8. Your device is successfully connected.

Note: Prior to pairing to any new device, it is necessary to reset the earphones to the factory settings each time when you wish to connect the earphones to the Niceboy ION app on the new device.

FACTORY SETTINGS

In case of technical problems, reset the earphones to the factory settings as follows.

  1. Switch off the earphones, remove them from the paired devices list and turn off Bluetooth.
  2. Switch on the earphones so that they are in pairing mode. The LED flashes alternately blue and red.
  3. Press and hold buttons „+“ and „-“ simultaneously for a period of 10 seconds. The LED indicator flashes red 3 times, then it lights up red for one second, and the earphones will switch off.
