Plume Instruction Manual

Getting Started

Before you use the Pod, please download the WorkPass by Plume app to your smartphone and follow the in-app 2-minute setup guide.
The WorkPass by Plume app can be downloaded on:

  • App Store – iOS
  • Google Play – Android

Step 1
Once the WorkPass by Plume is downloaded and successfully installed.
TAP “Set up WorkPass” from the landing page

Step 2
Create your account: Enter your name and location name and tap “Next”

Step 3
Enter your email and password and tap “Next”

Step 4
Connect the modem to the left ethernet port on the pod. Plug pod into power. Restart the modem

Step 7
Setup secure Wi-Fi network name and password

Step 8
Setup employee Wi-Fi network name and password

Step 9
Setup guest Wi-Fi network name and password and simply tap “Next” to set three Plume networks

Step 8
Once all three networks are created connect all rest of the pods

    This symbol indicates that this product incorporates double insulation between hazardous mains voltage and user accessible parts. Earthing wire is therefore not necessary.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not

This equipment complies with radio frequency (RF) exposure limits adopted by the Federal Communications Commission for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated to ensure a minimum of 20 cm spacing to any person at all times. Your Plume Pod information is on file with FCC and can be found on FCC website http://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/ by searching the FCC ID on the device, which can be found on the bottom of the Plume Pod.

ISED Regulations:
This device complies with ISED applicable license-exempt RSSs. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

  1. This device may not cause interference; and
  2. This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.

CAN ICES-3(B)/NMB-3(B)

The device could automatically discontinue transmission in case of absence of information to transmit, or operational failure. Note that this is not intended to prohibit transmission of control or signaling information or the use of repetitive codes where required by the technology.
The device for operation in the band 5150–5250 MHz is only for indoor use to reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite systems;
In addition, high-power radars are allocated as primary users (i.e. priority users) of the bands 5250–5350 MHz and 5650–5850 MHz and that these radars could cause interference and/or damage to LE-LAN devices.
