This short informative guide will familiarize you with the Plume Pod(s)
setup. Additional help is available on Plume’s website at

Getting Started
Before you use the Pod, please download the Plume WiFi app to your smartphone
and follow the in-app 2-minute setup guide.
The Plume WiFi app can be downloaded on:
- App Store – iOS
- Google Play – Android or

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to
the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful
interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user‘s authority to operate the equipment.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off
and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or
more of the following measures:
—Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
—Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

For UWB device:
The device is only for indoor use. UWB devices may not be employed for the
operation of toys. Operation onboard an aircraft, a ship, or a satellite is
prohibited. The device for operation in the band 5150–5250 MHz is only for
indoor use to reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel
mobile satellite systems; 5GHz band (W52,W53): Indoor use only (Except for the
transmission with High Power Data Communication System Base Station or Relay
Station)
FCC RF Exposure Compliance
This equipment complies with radio frequency (RF) exposure limits adopted by
the Federal Communications Commission for an uncontrolled environment. This
equipment should be installed and operated to ensure a minimum of 20 cm
spacing to any person at all times. Your Plume Pod information is on file with
FCC and can be found on FCC website http://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/ by searching
the FCC ID on the device, which can be found on the bottom of the Plume Pod.
ISED Regulations:
This device complies with ISED applicable license-exempt RSSs. Operation is
subject to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause interference; and
(2) This device must accept any interference, including interference that may
cause undesired operation of the device.
CAN ICES-003 (B) / NMB-003 (B)
The device could automatically discontinue transmission in case of absence of
information to transmit, or operational failure. Note that this is not
intended to prohibit transmission of control or signaling information or the
use of repetitive codes where required by the technology.
The device for operation in the band 5150–5250 MHz is only for indoor use to
reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite
systems;
In addition, high-power radars are allocated as primary users (i.e. priority
users) of the bands 5250–5350 MHz and 5650–5850 MHz and that these radars
could cause interference and/or damage to LE-LAN devices.
ISED RF Exposure Compliance

Restrictions or Requirements in the UK:
The device is restricted to indoor use only when operating in the 5150 to 5350
MHz frequency range.

This device meets the EU and UK requirements and the International Commission
on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) on the limitation of exposure of
the general public to electromagnetic fields by way of health protection. This
