Note: You cannot operate the remote control while charging it. It will automatically power off after unplugging the charger and short vibrate once.
Safety Tips for Charging
- Before first use, please charge it for 5 hours at least in the proper temperature and environment.
- To extend the battery life to the utmost, please charge it once two days after riding (If you do not use it for a long time, please charge it once a month).
- The battery will be damaged without timely charging. As time goes by, the battery capacity will gradually go out, leading to battery over-discharge.
- Please use the battery, charger, and cable provided by the original manufacturer, avoiding dangers caused by battery overcharge.
- Please ensure the correct connection of charger and cable in a well-ventilated environment.
- Please use it under dry conditions. The charger or cable must not come into contact with water, for it may result in an electric shock. No touching charger or cable with wet hands.
- If there is any failure during charging, please pull the plug off immediately.
- Please make sure to unplug from the plug end, not from the cable.
- Please do not make the charger or cable come in with sharp or hot articles.
- Please make regular checks with the charger and its cable to avoid an emergency.
- If there is obvious damage to the charger or cable, please do not use the charger anymore, and contact us for exchange.
- Please do not repair the battery, charger, or cable personally.
- If there is any question during charging, please feel totally free to contact us.
Safety Recommendations
- Please wear all protective gear and helmets when practicing to avoid any accidents. In addition, when you use it daily, please take corresponding protective measures, which is very important!
- Electric Skateboard – it is only a device for entertainment, not a vehicle. But once you are riding to the public area, the E-Skateboard brings certain risks for your safety. Therefore, please ensure you have sufficient control ability and rich skateboarding experience before riding for your safety and others.
- Please check the relevant traffic rules of your country before riding, ensure that E-Skateboard can be driven on public roads, and keep abreast of the latest road rules.
- You should understand that you must comply with all safety recommendations if you ride the E-Skateboard in a public place. In addition, you must know that even if you follow entirely, you may be at risk caused by illegal driving/improper operation of others or vehicles. Just like when you walk or ride a bicycle, you can also be injured by other vehicles.
- As in other types of vehicles, the higher the speed of the E-Skateboard, the greater the braking distance. So we strongly recommend that you don’t speed up at will. On some smooth roads, emergency braking may cause skidding of the E-Skateboard, loss of balance, and even fall. Therefore, during riding of E-Skateboard, you need to be vigilant, adhere to an appropriate speed, keep a safe distance from pedestrians or with other vehicles. Riding on unfamiliar terrain, keep vigilance and proper speed.
- While riding the E-Skateboard, respect the rights of pedestrians. Do not scare them, especially children. Before you pass the pedestrians, Please keep the speed under 4 Mph and avoid them. If you move in the same direction as pedestrians, keep to the left side as much as possible(right side for right-hand traffic countries). If you are moving in the opposite direction, stick to the right and slow down.
- Please strictly follow your country road rules to driving and strictly abide by rules set out in the instructions and safety recommendations. Violation of the above rules may result in financial expenses, personal injury, the occurrence of traffic accidents, legal disputes, conflict, and other unpleasant situations. Our company does not bear any direct or joint liability.
- To avoid personal injury, do not loan E-Skateboard to others who do not know how to drive. Before you transfer your E-Skateboard to friends, please let him(her) spend training and teach he (her)must be wearing the proper safety gear.
- Please do scrutinize the E-Skateboard before each use. If you find all kinds of abnormal symptoms(such as damaged parts, decreasing battery life, PU wheels wearing excessively, uncharacteristic sounds when turning, etc). Please stop using the e-Scooter immediately. Don’t ride it reluctantly.
Malfunction Warning Instruction
-
Overcharge (when going downhill with a fully charged battery)
In principle, going downhill with a fully charged battery is prohibited because the battery will be charged when braking during the going-downhill process. Going downhill with a fully charged can shorten the service life of the board battery or even cause accidents like an explosion or a fire! So the user needs to consume some power before going downhill! If some user violates the rule and goes downhill with a fully charged battery, the remote will vibrate, and The screen prompts”BOARD OVERVOLTAGE” when ESC detects the battery voltage is too high.
If the user continues to go downhill, the board will brake automatically to prevent the user from doing that. This method can only protect the battery to a limited extent and cannot 100% guarantee battery safety. -
Signal loss warning
When the signal is lost suddenly, the remote control screen indicates disconnection with a short vibration. If the skateboard is accelerating, the acceleration will stop slowly first, then break slowly automatically. If the skateboard is not accelerating, it will break slowly.
If the signal is lost, the remote control will search the device of the skateboard. If it succeeds in searching and reconnecting, the remote control will short vibrate, the brake will be canceled and return to regular operation. -
Lock-up warning
When the motor is lock-up or completely stuck, the remote control will short vibrate continuously and intermittently. The remote control screen indicates lock-up. If that happens, the user should stop running the skateboard and check whether any foreign matter is stuck in it, clear them and rerun it. -
O verheating warning
When the motor’s operating temperature is higher than 100°C or lower than 0°C, the remote control vibrates once, and the screen indicates an overheat, and the motor will stop working.
Note: The user should pay attention to the temperature of the motor. Stop using if the operating temperature of the motor is high. Reuse it after the temperature reduces. -
Overheating warning
When the operating current of the motor exceeds the value allowed, the remote control screen indicates overcurrent, and the motor stops working. Note: Close the skateboard and repower on. Please use it after the current returns to normal.
