ECCOTEMP EZKIT EZ-Flush System Softener Kit
Whats Included
- EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit built in pump
- AC Adapter
- 1 QT. liquid descaler solution
- (2) 5’ rubber hoses
Descaling Instructions
PLEASE NOTE: The Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit MUST be on a flat, even surface before use.

Disconnect power to water heater.

Close hot and cold isolation and service valves and remove the service caps.

Connect one hose to the water outlet labeled “OUTLET” and the other end of the same hose to cold service valve.

Connect one hose to the water inlet labeled “INLET” and the other end of the same hose to hot service valve.

Pour in water along with contents of 1 quart Eccotemp Descaler into the EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit until you’ve reached the top of the runner hose inside of the reservoir.
PLEASE NOTE: add additional water if needed to ensure free flow recirculation. -
Open both hot and cold service valves.

Plug Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit into grounded receptacle.

Turn the Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit to the on position labeled “ON”. Never allow pump to run without adequate liquid in bucket or damage to the pump will occur.

Allow pump to circulate Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit solution through heater for 30-45 minutes.

Turn Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit to the off position labeled “OFF”.

Close cold service valve. Remove hose from cold service valve, and replace service cap.

Disconnect the hose from the water inlet labeled “INLET”. Discard Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit Solution.*

Disconnect the hose from the outlet labeled “OUTLET”.

Flush System for 3-5 minutes or until water flows clear by opening the cold isolation valve and allowing water to exit through the hot service valve into a drain or bucket, empty as needed during the process.

Close hot service valve. Remove hose from hot service valve and replace service cap; then open hot isolation valve.

Connect power to water heater and return application to service.

Storage
Please note: Flushing your EZ-Flush before storage is important to prevent corrosion of internal components of the EZ-Flush.
- While the EZ-Flush is still plugged in and disconnected from your water heater, dump 1 gallon or of fresh clean water into your flush kit.
- Turn on your flush kit allowing fresh water to flow through the kit onto the ground. Add additional water as needed to ensure all old solution is adequately flushed out of your cleaning kit. Rinse your EZ-Flush hoses with fresh clean water as well.
- Once your EZ Flush kit has been rinsed with clean water you are ready for storage. When your cleaning kit and accessories are dry, put all accessories back in the top of the kit. Close and lock the lid and sore it for another use.
Warranty
COVERAGE
Eccotemp System LLC, guarantees this EZ-Flush System Descaler kit to the Owner
of the EZ-Flush System Descaler against defects in material or workmanship for
the periods specified below.
WARRANTY PERIOD
- All Component Parts If any component part proven to be defective in material or workmanship within one (1) year from the date of original purchase of the EZ-Flush system Descaler kit, Eccotemp will furnish the Owner with a replacement of the defective part(s).
- Verification of Date of Original Purchase. When Owner cannot verify or document the original date of purchase, the warranty period begins on the date of manufacture marked on the tag affixed to the water heater.
EXCLUSIONS
- THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY MADE BY THE MANUFACTURER AND IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED (WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL), INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
- The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, special or contingent damages or expenses arising, directly or indirectly, from any defect in the EZ- Flush System descaler kit or the use of the EZ- Flush System descaler kit.
- The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any water damage arising, directly or indirectly, from any defect in the water heater component part(s) or from its use.
- The manufacturer shall not be liable under this warranty if:
- The EZ- Flush System descaler kit or any of its component parts has been subject to misuse, alteration, neglect or accident, or
- The EZ-Flush system descaler kit has not been operated in accordance with the printed manufacturer’s instructions.
- The OWNER and not the Manufacturer or his representative shall be liable for and shall pay for all field charges for labor or other expenses incurred in the removal and/or repair of the product or any expense incurred by the owner in order to repair the product. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
IMPORTANT: THE OWNER SHALL PROVIDE A VALID PRODUCT RECEIPT TO MAKE A
CLAIM
NOTE: The EZ- Flush system descaler kit should be set up in such a manner
that if it should leak, the resulting flow of water will not cause damage to
the area in which it is being used.
HOW THE OWNER CAN SECURE SERVICE OR MAKE A CLAIM
- The owner should contact the dealer who sold the water heater covered by this warranty or
- The owner should submit the warranty claim directly to Eccotemp at the address listed below, and they will arrange for the handling of the claim
- Whenever any inquiry or service request is made, be sure to include the EZ-Flush system descaler kit model number, the serial number, date of purchase, and the Dealer’s name.
- When returning the EZ-Flush system descaler kit or component part(s), they must be individually tagged and identified with the Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) # issued by Eccotemp and shipped prepaid to Eccotemp at the address below

Important:
Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit has been designed to work in conjunction
with isolation valves that provide 3/4” hot and cold service connections. If
these valves have not been installed on your heater then the heater must be
disconnected from the plumbing and drained, and the Eccotemp EZ-Flush System
Descaler Kit must be connected directly to the cold and hot water connections.
Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit is NSF approved and safe to dispose of
in drains.*
