INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL TOWER PTC HEATER
MODEL NO: HPC- D150YL
INTRODUCTION
-
Before using your new heater, please carefully read through the following instructions. KEEP THIS BOOKLET IN A SAFE PLACE SO THAT YOU MAY CONSULT IT LATER.

After removing the packaging, make sure that the appliance is in good condition.

The packaging materials may contain plastic, nails, etc., which may be hazardous and therefore should not be left within the reach of children.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Installation MUST be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Avoid installation behind a door.
-
Use only the voltage specified on the rating plate of the heater.
-
Do not cover or restrict airflow to the inlet or exhaust grilles in any manner as the appliance may overheat and become a fire risk (for Fan Heaters).
-
Do not cover grilles, block entry, or exhaust of airflow by placing appliance against any surface. Keep all objects at least 1 meter from the front and sides of the appliance. With exception of appliances designed for wall-mounting, maintain a 1-meter gap from the rear of the unit as well.
WARNING: FIRE RISK EXISTS IF THE HEATER IS COVERED BY OR POSITIONED CLOSE TO CURTAINS OR OTHER COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS -
Do not place the appliance close to a radiant heat source.

Do not operate in areas where gasoline, paint, or other flammable liquids are used or stored.

This appliance heats up when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Switch off and use handles were provided when moving.

Do not use the appliance to dry clothes.

Do not leave the appliance unattended whilst in use.
-
Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening, as this may cause an electric shock, fire, or damage to the appliance.

Do not immerse in liquid or allow liquid to run into the interior of the appliance, as this could create an electrical shock hazard.

Do not use this appliance on a wet surface, or where it can fall or be pushed into the water.

Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into the water. Switch off at supply and unplug immediately.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord, plug or after the appliance malfunction or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return to a qualified electrical person for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, service or repair before further use.

Do not operate appliances with wet hands.

This appliance is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.

Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

A common cause of overheating is deposits of dust or fluff in the appliance. Ensure these deposits are removed regularly by unplugging the appliance and vacuum-cleaning air vents and grilles, where available.

Do not use this appliance in a window as rain may cause electric shock.

Do not use abrasive cleaning products on this appliance. Clean with a damp cloth (not wet) rinsed in hot soapy water only. Always remove the plug from the mains supply before cleaning.

Do not connect the appliance to the mains source until it has been installed in its final location and adjusted to the position it will be used in.

This appliance is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry, or similar locations which may be exposed to water, moisture, or humidity.

Always operate on a flat horizontal surface.

Switch off the appliance, then use handles (where provided) to change its position.

Do not operate with the cord coiled up as this could cause a build-up of heat, which could pose a hazard.

The use of an extension cord with this appliance is not recommended.

Do not remove the power plug from the socket by pulling the cord —grip the plug instead.

Always unplug appliances when not in use.

Do not allow the cord to come in contact with heated surfaces during operation.

Do not run cord under carpeting, throw rugs or runners, etc. Arrange cord away from areas where it is likely to be tripped over.

Do not twist, kink, or wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause the insulation to weaken and split.
Always ensure that the cord has been fully removed from any cord storage area before use. -
Do not store appliance in a box or closed space until it has cooled down sufficiently.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

The appliance must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.

Do not use this appliance with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the appliance is covered or positioned incorrectly.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrical person in order to avoid a hazard.

Do not use this appliance outdoors, or on wet surfaces. Avoid spilling liquid on the appliance.

In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
OPERATION

Before inserting the plug into an electrical outlet, make sure that the electrical supply in your area matches that on the rating label on the unit.

Carefully remove the heater from the plastic bag and the carton.

Place the heater on a firm level surface

Setting the master button to “O”.plug the cord set into a 220-240V–AC electrical outlet. Turnning the master button “-” position, with “BEE” sounds the light is on . 5

Turn the heater ON by pressing the ON/OFF main button at the backside of the heater.
The unit will display the current Room temperature and button light with RED color . -
And then by pressing the “Elbutton become BLUE color, the unit will blow the cold air.

Upon pressing the “0” button, the”U” light up, start set the suitable temperature(the highest temperature you can set until to 49°C), when the set temperature is higher than room temperature, the unit will start one heat setting,and at this time the will will light up with BLUE color.lf continue pressing ” 0 ” the setted temperature will be even higher.The unit will start totally 2 heat settings.At this time the “Cl” will light up with BLUE color.Once continue pressing the the settled temperature reached 49°C ,then the temperature restart from 10°C.

Press button “0” one time pressing is in low heat setting and the “Elwin light up with BLUE color.Two times pressing is in high heat setting and the ” 1:1″ will light up with BLUE color.When pressing this button for third times,it will come back with only cool air blowing mode.

By pressing “MI “button with the “o” light up,you can make the heater with or without oscillation.

By pressing “M” button with thealight up,you can set the timer from 1-24 hours .

When you want to turn off the heater,you can press”11:1″ button,this time the symbol “fan blade”will shine, and at the meaning time,all the heating will turn off and only fan blowing,after blowing 30s,the heater will cut off only showing the room temperature with shell button become RED color.
OSCILLATION BUTTON
This appliance also have an oscillation function.To switch the function on,
press the”E” button with the “11” light up. To stop it, press the oscillation
button again with “Et light turns off.
TIMER FUNCTION
This function will work in any mode. The timer function allows you to set the
length of operation from 1 hour to 24 hours. Pressing the “N button increases
the length of operation by 1 hour each time the button is pressed. Once the
timer has been set the timer will count down the hours in 1 hour by 1 hour ,
showing on the display the remaining operating time until the heater will turn
itself off. Pressing the timer button once more after the display reflects 24
hours will reset the heater to continuously running.
THERMOSTAT INSTRUCTIONS
- To adjust the temperature, press the ” 0 ” to increase the desired temperature Max 49°C and continue press” ” to reset from 0 10°C to 49°C.
- When the air temperature drops 3 degrees below the set temperature, the heater will start heating with 1000W.
- When the air temperature drops 6 degrees below the set temperature, the heater will start heating with 2000W.
- When the air temperature is high 1 degree or 5 the set temperature, the heater will blow the cold air
- Temperature can set from 10 degrees to 49 degree

SAFETY TIP-OVER SWITCH
The appliance has safety tip-over switch for safe protection. Make the user
away from fire and other damage.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
This heater is protected with an overheat protection that switches off the
appliance automatically in case of overheating. For example: due to the total
or partial obstruction of the vents. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait
about 30 minutes for it to cool, and remove the object which is obstructing
the vents. Then switch it back on as described above. The appliance should now
operate normally. If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service for
assistance.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance on the appliance, disconnect it from the power supply. • For cleaning it is recommended to use a soft moist rag and neutral detergent. Do not use an abrasive cloth or devices which could affect the appearance of the appliance. Check that the hot air outlet and the ventilation inlet are free of dust and dirt. During cleaning, be careful not to touch the heating elements. • To open the filter on the back for cleaning, press the top of plastic net at back. • In case of breakdown and/or poor functioning of the appliance, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and contact an authorised repairer.
