GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance is Double Insulated. Double insulation protects the user of this appliance from an electrical shock by preventing any possibility of the external casing becoming life (the live wire cannot touch the casing even if wires inside become loose), thus eliminating the need for an earth connection.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Never use this appliance near flammable, explosive, hazardous, or toxic substances: sparks from the motor could cause dangerous reactions.
Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when leaving the appliance unattended or before attempting any repair.
THIS APPLIANCE IS INTENDED FOR COMMERCIAL USE ONLY.
SERVICING, OTHER THAN NORMAL MAINTENANCE, MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE.

Operation

This appliance is a commercial vacuum designed for dry pick-up only. The motors can run simultaneously or independently as the job requires. This appliance is designed to sit on top of a standard 55-gallon steel drum.

Filter Changing and Maintenance

Turn off the motor switches and allow the motor to stop running.
Unplug the unit. Remove the motorhead from the barrel/drum adapter. Loosen the screws and remove the filter holder/retainer and remove the filter assembly.
Gently remove the Polyester Pretreated filter and shake out and blow off accumulated dust and debris. If necessary, you can gently rinse the dirt from the bag with water to provide a more thorough clean. Make sure it is dry before reapplying.
For any dust that is in the MAIN HEPA filter pleats, gently tap on the side of the drum to remove loose dust and debris. You may also use low-volume compressed air to gently blow the dust away and out of the pleats.
When your Polyester Pretreated filter or the MAIN HEPA filter becomes too dirty or if they are damaged in any way, please replace them with new ones.
