INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the Economy Overbid Table from Adapt.

These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the product for future reference. Please see our website user manual if you require a larger font.

Please ensure this equipment is installed by a competent person.

DO NOT exceed the weight limit stated – doing so could put you at risk.

BEFORE USE
  • Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives or other sharp instruments as this may damage the surface of the product.
  • Check the product for any visible damage. If you see any damage or suspect a fault, do not use your product, but contact your supplier for support.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Please examine your product for any visible damage before using/installing. If you see any damage or suspect a fault, please do not use, but contact your supplier.

  1. Carefully remove all packaging and ensure all loose fitments have been provided. (fig. 1)

  2. If you have purchased the VG832B (with castors) follow this step, otherwise move on to step 3. Locate the pre-punched castor holes on the base frame ( fig. 2 ), align the castor and screw in with spanner (J) provided (see fig.3 ). Ensure castors are fully tightened.

  3. Turn the U frame over so that the spigots are facing up. Lower the H frame onto the spigots of U frame (see fig. 4). Ensure the black plastic collars on the H frame are at the top and the spigots on H frame are facing outwards (see fig. 5).

  4. Align pre-punched holes in bottom of H frame with the pre-punched holes in the spigots of the U frame. Insert E-clips to lock in position ensuring it clicks in place and secure. (see fig. 6 and 7).

  5. Place the L shape tube onto the underside of the table top, observing the following (VERY IMPORTANT)

    • The riveted end of L shape tube MUST be placed onto the underside of table top (see fig. 8).
    • The riveted end of L-Shape tube MUST be placed between pre-drilled holes nearest to  the edge of the table (approximately 10 cm from table edge). (see fig. 9 and 10)

  6. Attach the L shaped tubes using four C-shaped brackets and eight screws. (see fig.11) Ensure that the two C-shaped brackets nearer the edge of table are between the two rivets (see fig. 12). Do not overtighten as this may cause damage to the table.

  7. Insert the free ends of L shaped tubes into the H Frame (see fig. 13). You may require  assistance to align them correctly. Slowly lower the table top (see fig. 13). Ensure you lower both sides at the same time to prevent binding.

  8. Loosely attach two thumbwheels to the small spigots at top of H frame (see fig. 14).

  9. Raise or lower table top to desired height and tighten thumb wheels by turning clockwise to secure (see fig. 15). Ensure height is the same on both sides; otherwise, table will not be level and not safe for use.

  10. To adjust height loosen thumb wheels anti-clockwise (see fig. 16) and repeat step 9.

  • RATION INSTRUCTIONS
  • To adjust the height and/or angle of the table, first loosen the two short hands screws by turning them anticlockwise. Adjust the table to suit and secure by turning hand screws clockwise.
  • The table is not load bearing and should not be used to support objects over 15kgs (33lbs).
  • Do not allow people to lean on the table.

WARNING: The Overbid Table requires a risk assessment before use.
WARNING: The Overbid Table must be checked periodically to ensure it is securely in place, retighten as required.
WARNING: DO NOT overtighten the screws otherwise this will cause damage to table top.
WARNING. DO NOT EXCEED 15kg weight load.

CLEANING

All of the product components are manufactured from quality materials. However, it is very important that you only clean your Over Bed Table using a non-abrasive cleaner or mild detergent with a soft cloth avoid using lime scale remover. Abrasive cleaners or abrasive cleaning pads will seriously damage your product beyond repair.
If to be disinfected by heat (apart from the wooden table top), one of the following three temperatures and duration of exposure can be used:

  1. a temperature of 90°C for 1 minute
  2. a temperature of 85°C for 3 minutes
  3. a temperature of 80°C for 10 minutes

CARE, MAINTENANCE AND YOUR OBLIGATION

Please check the Over Bed Table periodically for any signs of damage and if in doubt contact your supplier.

The product you buy may differ slightly from illustrations. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect your statutory rights.

Our guarantee is administered by our retailers.

If your product arrives damaged, you must contact the retailer from whom you bought it. The retailers contact details will be on the invoice that arrived with the product, or on the email you received when you placed the order. Do not contact Aidapt Bathrooms Ltd, only your retailer can arrange a replacement or refund.
