ELRO AS90SRB Outdoor Siren and Flash

Introduction

The AS90SRB wireless facade box is a very powerful 115dB siren with flashing light. Mounting it on the facade of your home shows potential burglars that you are protected against burglary. The facade box is easy to install and comes with a spirit level so you can mount it neatly straight on the outside wall. Screws and plugs are included. If the Home+ Alarm System is switched on or in night mode, then the AS90SRB wall box is tamper-proof. The center LED lights up once every 9 seconds and a push message is sent to the app on your smartphone if the batteries run out.

Description of the facade box

  1. LEDs 1 to 4 light up if the system is set to Home Arm.
  2. LEDs 5 to 8 light up when the system is switched ARM.
  3. LEDs 1 to 8 light up when the system is switched Disarm.
  4.  LEDs 1 through 8 flash very brightly if ALARM/S.O.S. is triggered
  5.  Flashes when batteries run low and lights continuously when an adapter is connected.

Pairing the facade box

  • The Home+ alarm system must be deactivated during the pairing and installation of the wall box. Open the facade box by unscrewing the screw on the bottom. Insert the 3 batteries, paying attention to the polarity (+ and -). Make sure that the ON/OFF switch is set to ON. The LEDs will flash, wait about 5 minutes until the LEDs have stopped. If the LEDs do not flash but are lit continuously, press the reset button until the wall box gives a signal and the LEDs still flash.
  • Open the app and tap “Add accessories” (1).
  • Scan the QR Code on the back of the wall box (2).
  • Give the wall box a name, for example, the location (3) and confirm with the blue “V” (4).
  •  You get a confirmation; the siren of the wall box gives 2 “Beep” signals and the LEDs go on and off.

Setting the facade box/Status indication

You can set up the panel according to your personal preferences, such as how long and how loud the siren should sound. You can also use the app to set the panel to flash the LEDs (1 x 15 seconds) to indicate the status of the Home+ alarm system. See also 2. Act as follows to get to the “Siren Settings” menu.

  • Tap “Siren settings” (8) to enter the menu, remember to confirm with the blue “V” (9) after you have changed a setting.
  • Testing from the app is very easy, just tap test (10) in the “Accessory settings” menu of the “Exterior facade” box.

Removing the facade box from the app

  • The link can be removed by sliding the “i” to the left and tapping delete (11). Even though the link is broken it may take a while for the information in your app to disappear.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am unable to pair the AS90SRB wall box with an iOS smartphone.

  • Please try the installation with an Android smartphone/tablet. After installation, the façade box will automatically be available for your iOS device. Every 9 seconds LED flashes on the wall box what does this mean?

  •  This means that the batteries have run out of power and need to be replaced. The system must be turned off before you replace the batteries.
    What is the life span of the batteries?

  •  This depends on your personal settings. See also: 4. Setting the wall box/Status signaling.Can I connect multiple sirens?

  •  You can connect multiple wall boxes AS90SRB and indoor sirens AS90SRA. Make sure they have a (location) name in the app. You can make a separate setting for each wall box or indoor siren.
