IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the safety and operating instructions.
Important: This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Never leave the appliance and its cord unsupervised and within reach of children less than 8 years old or irresponsible persons when it is plugged into the wall or when it is cooling down.

  • Use this appliance only for domestic use as described in this manual. This appliance is not suitable for professional use.
  • This type of oven is specifically designed to heat or cook food.
  • It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use.
  • Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the appliance before using the appliance. The socket must be readily accessible so that it can be easily unplugged in case of emergency.
  • Do not use the oven outdoors.
  • Do not use corrosive chemicals or vapours in this appliance.
  • Do not operate the microwave oven when empty.
  • Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open.
  • Before operating the oven, make sure the glass tray, the waving guide and the roller ring are in correct position.
  • Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
  • Do not use the microwave oven in case of damage until repairs have been made by a competent qualified service(*).
  • If steam appears between the inner and outer window when cooking, immediately stop the oven, unplug it, and contact the nearest customer service.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the oven or to remove parts.
  • Do not use the cavity for storage purposes when not in use.
  • Do not place the preparation directly on the glass tray, but put it in a microwave resistant receptacle.
  • Always check if your utensils are microwave resistant before using them in the appliance : in case of doubt, please contact the supplier.
  • Never use utensils or receptacles in metal or melamine or with a metal or melamine handle or decoration.
  • Do not prepare food in receptacles with a sealed container or a container with a too narrow opening.
  • Make sure the openings of microwave resistant receptacles are neither obstructed nor covered to avoid that they explode.
  • DO not heat eggs in their shell or whole hard-boiled eggs.
  • Pierce foods with heavy skins such as sausages, potatoes, whole squash, apples and chestnuts before cooking.
  • Microwave heating of beverage can result in delayed eruptive boiling, Care has to be taken when you handle the container.
  • The contents of baby jars should be shaken and the temperature should be checked before serving.
  • Do not fry food in the oven.
  • Never immerse into water or other liquid.
  • Cooking utensils may become hot : use potholders.
  • It is necessary to clean the cavity of your oven regularly and to remove any rests of food. Food remains on the heating elements of the oven will produce smoke and bad smells.
  • This device is not a toy.
  • Should the symbol be indicated on a certain surface, you need to be careful when handling the product. This symbol means “CAUTION, this surface may get very hot during use”.

(*) Competent qualified service: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  • The microwave oven must be placed on a flat and stable surface.
  • Keep the microwave oven away from heat, humidity and corrosive environments.
  • Do not cover or block any openings on the appliance.
  • For correct operation, the oven must have sufficient airflow. Allow 30cm of space above the oven, 10cm at the back and 10cm at both sides.
  • The position of the oven shall be such that it is far from the TV, Radio or antenna as picture disturbance. The distance should be more than 5m.
  • Unplug the appliance and then clean the inside with a damp cloth and dry carefully. When using the microwave oven for the first time or after it has not been used for a long time, there may be a plastic smell inside. To get rid of it place several lemon slices or orange peel in a cup and heat it on high micro power for 2 minutes.
  • Never remove the waveguide cover

MICROWAVE COOKING PRINCIPLES

  • Arrange food carefully. Place thickest areas towards outside of dish.
  • Watch cooking time. Cook for the shortest amount of time indicated and add more as needed. Food severely overcooked can smoke or ignite.
  • Cover foods while cooking. Covers prevent spattering and help foods to cook evenly.
  • Turn foods over once during microwaving to speed cooking. Large items like roasts must be turned over at least once.
  • Do not operate the microwave oven without food in i t.

UTENSILS GUIDE

  • We advise you to use utensils that are specially conceived for microwave cooking.
  • Round/oval dishes rather than square/oblong ones are recommended.

CONTROL PANNEL

There is two rotating buttons on the control panel :

Timer :

  • The max cooking time length that can be set is 30 minutes
  • Each setting is 1 minute
  • A bell will ring when the time is out and the button automatically returns to zero.

Power :
There are 6 power levels :

High 100% power output Quick cooking
M.High 85% power output Normal cooking
Med 66% power output Slow cooking
M.Low 40% power output Drinks or soup
Defrost 37% power output Defrost
Low 17% power output Keep warm

OPERATION

  1.  Connect the power cord Before connecting the power cord, make sure the timer is set to “0” position
  2.  Place the food container on the glass turntable and close the door
  3.  Select the desired power level
  4.  Set the timer If desired time is less than 10 minutes, turn the timer knob to over 10 minutes position and then turn back to the desired time setting.
  5.  Once the desired time is set, the cooking begins. If pausing in between is needed, just open the door at any time, and close it to resume operation
  6.  When cooking ends, the bell rings and the inside lamp automatically turns off
  7.  If food is removed before time out, make sure to set back the timer to “0” position.

Defrost

  • Regularly turn the food during the defrost process
  • The following table provides a reference defrost time length for various types of foods :

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1.  Turn off the oven and remove the power plug from the wall socket before cleaning.
  2.  It is very important to clean the oven door.
  3.  Keep the door, the inside cavity, glass tray, roller ring and the waving guide of the oven clean by wiping with a damp cloth.
  4.  Mild detergent may be used if the oven gets very dirty. Avoid the use of spray and other harsh cleaners.
  5.  The outside surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth. To prevent damage to the Caution : water should not seep into the ventilation openings or control panel.
  6.  The lamp is a led bulb, if it should not light up anymore do not try to replace it yourself and contact a competent qualified service.

PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT – DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with the directive.
ERP DECLARATION – REGULATION 1275/2008/EC
We, TKG Sprl/Bvba, hereby confirm that our product meets the requirements of regulation 1275/2008/EC. Admittedly, our product does not dispose of a function to minimize the power consumption, which should according to regulation 1275/2008/EC put the product in off or standby mode after finishing the main function, but this is practically impossible, as it would compromise the main function of the product so strongly, that using the product would no longer be possible! For this reason we always tell the customer in our instruction manual to unplug the appliance immediately after use. The user manual is by simple request also available in electronic format from the after-sales service (see warranty card).
