Before the operation: setting the current time
- Press the CLOCK button
- Press the TIME button to set the time
- Press the DAY button to set the day
- Press the CLOCK button again
3D i-see Sensor®
Sensor: The sensor detects the room temperature.
Absence Detection: When no one is in the room, the unit automatically switches to Energy-saving mode.
Indirect/Direct: Press to activate INDIRECT/DIRECT mode. This mode is only available when the i-see control mode is effective.
The 3D i-see Sensor detects the location of occupants in the room. Direct mode aims airflow toward individuals in the space while Indirect mode diverts air away from room occupants.
NOTE: In the case of systems with multiple units (multi-systems), it is not possible to set different operation modes for each unit. In some cases, it may not be possible to use certain functions.

The number of buttons on the remote control is how many?****
Its precise number may vary, although it normally has 20 to 30 buttons for a variety of tasks.
What is the 3D i-see Sensor?****
The 3D i-see Sensor is a feature that detects the room temperature and can switch to Energy-saving mode when no one is in the room. It also has an Indirect/Direct mode, which aims for airflow toward individuals or diverts air away from room occupants.
Is the remote control programmable for other devices?****
No, the Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-FS remote control cannot be programmed for use with other devices and is only intended for use with Mitsubishi Electric air conditioning systems.
Can I lock the remote to stop someone else from using it?****
In order to prevent unauthorized modifications to the settings, some models of the Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-FS remote control may contain a kid lock or remote control lock function.
How can I use the remote control to adjust the temperature?
The remote control is made to be user-friendly; it has buttons that are easy to use and a visible display.
Can I use the remote control to change the air louver’s direction?****
Yes, you can change the direction of the airflow by moving the air louvers using the remote control.
Is there a timer feature on the remote control?****
Yes, you may configure the air conditioner to turn on or off at particular times using the timer function that is typically included in the remote control.
Can I use a single remote control to operate several air conditioners?****
You can operate all of your compatible Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-FS air conditioners with a single remote if they are all within range.
The remote control is powered in what way?****
Batteries are used to power the remote control; the type depends on the model.
What is the remote control’s maximum operational range?****
Within a straight line of sight from the air conditioner, the maximum operational range is normally between 7 and 10 meters (or around 23 and 33 feet).
