SAFETY INFORMATION
IMPORTANT: READ ALL SAFETY INFORMATION AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING THIS PRODUCT SAVETHIS MANUAL FOR REFERENCE
- 5′ power cord with plug, link up to 10 shop lights together.
- Do not handle ony energized fixture or attempt to energize ony fixture with wet hands or while standing on o wet or domp surface or In water.
- Assure that the fixture is mounted onto a structurally sound surface that will support the fixture.
- The fixture Is designed for use In a 120Vac, 50/60Hz
- fused circuit. Do not use on a dimming circuit.
- Do not look Into the lights.
- The Product Is Intended for use In garages, basements, and work areas. utility rooms and recreation rooms.
- The maximum distance to the receptacle Is determined by the length of the oord provided. (5 ft, 2-prong, 120Voo
- parallel-blade plug)
- Includes a protective sleeve, such as 0.010-inch (0.25-mm) thick ftberglass, where the path of cord travel to the ceiling-mounted receptacle is not between the two supporting chains.
- The fixture is intended to be installed directly beneath a ceiling-mounted receptacle. Excess cord should be secured to one of the supporting chains with a coble tie ta keep it out of the work space.
- Use hook to support the chain, not the electrical cord.
- Do not install on rodiant-heoting type ceiling.

Smart Shop Lights using Alexa, Google \ibloe Assistant or customize them with
any WI-Fl enabled smartphone/tablet In the atoml smart opp (available for
Android or IOS). You can connect and link up to 10 lights. Inside the box
you’ll find:
Before you begin
- KnONyourWi-Fi netlM:lrk and paSSIM:lrd.
- Make sure your mobile device is running iOS* 8 or higher or Android™ 4.1x or higher.
- Make sureyou·re connected to a 2.4GHz WI-Fl network (atomic smart opp won’t connect to 5GHz networks).
- Before installing, plug the Smart Shop Light into the outlet to ensure it is working properly.
Installation
Option A: Pendant Mounted
The unit I& intended tD be Installed directly beneath a ceiling-mounted
receptacle.
If there Is a BlCOBSS oord, bind with string or a cable tie to keep It out
cfVI.O’kspaoe. important: Unplug the Smart Shop Ught prior to ID mounting.
Attach the Ceiling Hooks
Choose desired location of light fixture making sure it is within reach of an
outlet Use o pencil to place o mark on the ceiling where each
celling hook{port CC) should go. Screw hooks In place until secure.
Suspended to Ceiling
- Hook the “S’ hocks (Part BB) into eoch of the holes on both sides of the Smart Shop Light
- Hook the hanging ohoins (Port AA) into eooh of the ceiling hooks (Partee).
Option B: Surface Mounted
Attoch the Ceiling Hooks
- Drill a 1/4 inch pilot hole into the marked screw locotions.
- lnsertwall onchors (Ports DD).
- Stort the wood screws (Part EE) but do not tighten fully.
- Slide the fixture over until the norrcm legs of the keyhole slots ore under the heads of the wood screws {Part EE).
Secure the Fixture
Drill o 1/4 inch pilot hole nearby the f1xture·s receptacle. Insert wall
anchors (Part DD) and tighten the wood screws (Ports EE).
**Plug In
**
Plug atomic Smart Shop Light into any standard outlet. Wait for 10 seconds after plugging in.
**Download App
**
Download the atomic smart opp from the App Store or Google Play.
Register
- Enter your mobile phone number or email address.
- Enter the verification code and create a password.
- Log into the app.
**Add Device
**
- Select “Add Device” or click (+) at the top right corner of the devices screen.
- Choose “Smart Shop Light” from the Device list.
- Pull the chain down and hold for 5 seconds until the light flashes rapidly, then press “Continue” on the atomi smart app.
- EnteryourWi-Fi network and password.
- The atomi smart app will oonneot your devioe.
Switch
Countdown Settings
Automatically powers Smart Shop Light ON/OFF.
Selects the current status of light(s)
Schedule
You can set up your Smart Shop Light to illuminate at specific times on specific days of the week.
Troubleshooting
Cannot connect to the yourWi-Fi network.
Make sure you entered the correct WI-Fl pass.ord during the WI-Fl setup. Check
If there are problems with your Internet connection. If the Wi-Fi signol is
too weak, reset your Wi-Fi router and try again.
Step Is not working properly.
- Close all apps that are running in the background then re-open the atom I smart app.
- Uninstall and reinstall the atom smart app then repeat the setup process.
Light will not tum on.
- Check wires to ensure proper connections. Make sure your breaker
- Is on and test another working electrical device to make sure It Is receiving pa.iver.
I’m still having trouble!
Wi-Fi networks come in a lot of shapes and sizes with many quirks. It doesn’t
mean your Smart Shop Light Is malfunctioning.
If problems persist please try these steps. in order.
- Force quit and re-launch the atomi smart opp. Check to see It this fixes the Issue.
- Unplug Smart Shop Light and plug It back In. Check to see If this ftxes the Issue.
- Unplug your router and plug It back In. Check to see if this fixes the issue.
- Delete and reinstall the atomi opp. Check to see If this fixes the Issue.
- If all else fails, restore your Smart Shop Light to factory settings: Unplug your Smart Shop Light. Plug it back in and pull and hold the chain for 5 secs.
Factory Reset
Choose ·restore faotarydefaults· from the opp directly.
Connection Options
1. If multiple lights are being installed, make sure the distance from the
end of front light to the head of next one Is less thon the 5-feet long power
supply cord.
2. Plug the pc,.ver cord Into the receptacle from the front light to the next
one.
3. Plug power cord Into an outlet and use pull chain or atom! smart opp to
control Smart Shop Lights.
Connecting Devices
In order to connect multiple lights and oontrol with the atomi smart opp you are required to create a group.
Creating a Group
Press the “Edit” button at the top right corner of your screen.
Adding Devices
- Press “Create Group”, select the devices you wish to be included and press “Save”.
- You can now control your lights simultaneously.
