INSTALLATION
The board provides backing support to enhance the steaming performance.
Note
Do not wash the board cover as it may damage the foam material.
Your appliance has been designed to be used with tap water. In case you live
in an area with hard water, fast-scale build-up may occur. Therefore, it is
recommended to use water without minerals such as distilled or purified water
to prolong the lifetime of your appliance.
Note
Do not add perfume, vinegar, mineral water, starch, descaling agents, ironing
aids, chemically descaled water or other chemicals into the water tank as they
may cause water spitting, brown staining, or damage to your appliance
.
This appliance delivers your favorite scents onto your clothes through powerful steam. Add up to 10 droplets of your own fragrance into the cap and steam will transfer it on your clothes for a fresh result. For a longer- lasting scent on your clothes, it is recommended to use stronger fragrances with high concentrations of aroma compounds such as essential oil.
Caution
Always turn off the steam when adding fragrance to the cap. Do not add
fragrance into the water tank. If you have asthma or any other pre-existing
lung disease, avoid using fragrance in the steamer as it may cause breathing
discomfort. If you are allergic to fragrance, do not use fragrance in the
steamer. If you are not sure, do skin test before using: apply a small amount,
about a drop or less, to the skin on your inner arm. If redness, burning,
inching, or another irritation occurs, wash with soap and water to wash the
affected area and stop using the fragrance immediately. Keep away from eyes
and mucous membranes.
FlexHead
FlexHead allows you to have contact with your garment from top to bottom to
avoid steam escape and for less kneeling and bending.
Note: Do not shake the steamer head vigorously.
Multi-steam settings are provided to save water and energy. You can increase
the steam setting for more steam power at any point of time. This appliance is
safe to use on all fabrics at any setting.
Note: The steam supply hose becomes warm during steaming. This is normal
.
Auto shut-off
The ring flashes after the water tank is empty for 10 minutes.
Refill the water tank and it back. You can resume steaming after turning the
steam knob. The ring should stop flashing.
If the water tank is not refilled within the next 10 minutes, the appliance starts to cool down and will shut off.
For garments that require a formal look and crisp result, such as shirts, jackets, and pants, it is recommended to use the board.
To make crisp pleats, start steaming from the bottom half of the pants and move onto the top half to prevent accidental wrinkles on parts that have already been steamed.
For a more natural look and quick touch-up on garments such as dresses, pleated is recommended using the board.
Put the glove on the hand you are using to hold a garment. The glove protects your hand against the steam from the steamer head.
The brush improves steam penetration into thick and heavy fabrics for faster
results. Brush slowly with the bristles touching the garment.
Caution: Do not attach or detach the brush while the steam is on or the
steamer head is hot.
To maintain optimal steam performance and prolong the lifetime of the
appliance, it is important to remove scale and impurities inside the appliance
regularly. Therefore, it is recommended to perform the de-calc process at
least once a month. Before you start the de-calc process, make sure there is
some water in the water tank.
Note: Clean the appliance and wipe any deposits off the steamer head with
a damp cloth and a non-abrasive liquid cleaning agent. Always empty the water
tank after usage, to prevent calc build-up and maintain good steam performance
.
