  1. What accessories do I need along with my dishwasher?
    You only need Dishwasher Tablets or Dishwasher Detergent, a Rinse Aid, and Salt to start with.

  2. What kind of detergent is used in the dishwasher?
    For dishwashers, there is a specific detergent, rinse aid, and salt available by many different brands available offline and Online. Alternately, there are 3-in-1 tablets available for a single wash which has all three detergent, rinse aid, and salt combined.

  3. Can I wash Indian utensils such as Kadhai and tawas in the dishwasher? What materials can I wash in a Dishwasher?
    You can easily wash Indian Utensils made of stainless steel including large- sized Kadhai, Pressure Cookers, and Tawa/ Pans in the dishwasher. It is also suited for delicate dinner sets and cups of porcelain/ceramic and glass crockery. It can also wash all Dishwasher safe utensils – Teflon-coated nonstick cookware, ceramic, melamine, silicon, and plasticware which is marked Dishwasher safe.

  4. What materials are dishwasher safe and what materials are unsuitable?
    Dishwashers can effectively wash steel, glass, and melamine utensils perfectly. It can also wash Teflon-coated non-stick cookware that has a Dishwasher safe sign. If you are washing any plasticware or silicon ware ­ ensure that its dishwasher safe. Copper, Brass, Wood, Aluminium ­ anodized and non-anodized, and Silver wares should not be washed in the dishwasher.

  5. Are Dishwashers suitable for Indian kitchens?
    Godrej Eon Dishwashers have special programs and features that work best for heavily soiled greasy dishes with stubborn residue, often seen in Indian cooking. It is also spacious enough to wash large cooking utensils used in Indian Kitchens ­ like pressure cookers, kadhais, Tawa, etc,

  6. Is it effective for utensils that have been left for a while and have dried residue and stains?
    Yes. There is a separate Prewash program available that helps soften the dried stains on the utensils. A Prewash cycle is also included before the main wash cycle in all wash programs above 50 minutes. Moreover, steam wash and hot water also help to get rid of stubborn dried residue and stains.

  7. Is pre-wash or soaking of utensils a must before putting them in the dishwasher? If the food has dried on the utensils, then pre-wash or rinsing may be required. A Prewash cycle is also included before the main wash cycle in all wash programs above 50 mins.

  8. Do I have to add salt if I get soft water in my house?
    Yes. Since supplied water can keep varying from time to time, it is recommended to add salt. If your house gets soft water, it will accordingly use very little salt.

  9. Does this dishwasher have an inbuilt water softener?
    Yes, there is an in-built water softener system that automatically utilizes salt to optimize water hardness levels. The water hardness level will be pre- set by the installation engineer based on the hardness test of your water supply.

  10. Can I wash deep glassware like champagne glasses or baby bottles having a narrow opening?
    Yes. You will have to make sure that deep bottles/glasses are placed well on their location so that the water sprays directly into them from the rotating arms. Additionally, look for Godrej Eon Dishwashers with Direct Wash Function ­ this function is particularly effective for narrow glasses, baby bottles, etc., as the nozzles direct water upwards into the glasses and bottles delivering a superior wash. Some Godrej Eon Dishwashers have an Extra hygiene function that eliminates up to 99.99% of bacteria. You can use it to disinfect baby bottles and utensils.

  11. How much salt, detergent and rinse aid does the dishwasher consume in a month?
    The average amount for detergent, rinse aid, and salt for one cycle of regular usage is Detergent ­ maximum. 30 gm Rinse Aid ­ 3-5 ml per wash Salt ­ 30 g per wash Alternately, one 3 in 1 tablet per wash

  13. What are the lengths of the inlet pipe, outlet pipe, and power cable?
    The length of the inlet pipe is 147cms, the outlet pipe is 180cms, and the power cable is 165cms.

  14. How long does it take the dishwasher to wash one load?
    Godrej Eon Dishwasher can wash a full load in as quick as 50 minutes using the Super 50′ program. The time will vary with additional options like Extra Hygiene wash, Extra Energy Save, or Extra Silent wash. Faster options like Mini 14 or Jet 14 are also available in select models.

  15. Is there a correct way to load the dishwasher?
    The mechanism of the dishwasher involves spraying water upwards and downwards with the spray arms. Dishes and utensils are to be placed facing downwards so that the grime and water can be washed away easily. Delicate glassware & kitchenware are recommended in the top racks. The bottom basket has ample space to accommodate large utensils like cooker, kadhai, etc. A basket has also been provided for your cutlery ­ you can use the same or you can also use the flaps given in the top rack depending on the number of forks and spoons you have to wash.

  16. Is after-sales service and spare parts available?
    Yes. All original and genuine parts are available for Godrej Eon Dishwashers. Godrej SmartCare (after-sales service) has been ranked no. 1 consecutively for the past 2 years in 2018 and 2019 by consumers in an independent survey ­ conducted amongst a pan India sample of appliances customers.

  17. Are the utensils dry after washing?
    Yes. For all full wash programmes, the dishwasher gives you completely dried utensils.

  18. How much water is consumed in one cycle?
    Godrej Dishwashers are designed for minimum water consumption. For a full wash programme like Eco Wash in certain models, water consumption is as low as 9 litres only.

  19. How much electricity does it consume in one load?
    Annual energy consumption for ECO mode is mentioned on the Energy label. It is as low as 230 units per year in select Godrej Eon Dishwasher models.

    Yes. Godrej Eon Dishwashers have a special Triple Wash Function which uses 2 extra sprays at the rear portion of the tub to effectively wash hard soiled cookers, kadhais and milk pans, etc. by spraying water directly into them

  25. Does the dishwasher need to be cleaned from time to time?
    Regular cleaning keeps the Godrej Eon Dishwasher maintenance-free. It is recommended to clean the drain filter at least once a week. For enhanced hygiene, some Godrej Eon Dishwashers have unique anti-germ CrystaLight features powered by UV technology, which eliminates all the bacteria and viruses present on the utensils and interiors of the dishwasher at the end of each wash cycle. Also, the Ionizer function of CrystaLight keeps your dishwasher odor-free.

  26. Is it possible to install the dishwasher on the kitchen slab as old people cannot bend and place the utensils if this is installed on floor?
    Yes, it can be installed on the kitchen platform. The platform should be strong and stable enough to bear the load. A height of 1 ½ foot from the ground is recommended for ease of use. However, users can take a call on what works best for them. All they must ensure is that the water connection is taken care of and the machine is stable.

  27. Can someone give me an unbiased dishwasher vs manual explanation?
    Here are a few points to help you compare:
    a. Dishwashers reduce the effort and time that is spent in the manual wash.
