beamZ SNOW1800 Snow Machine

Congratulations to the purchase of this Beamz snow machine. Please read this manual carefully prior to using the unit.

WARNING

  • – Read the instruction manual thoroughly prior to using the unit.
    – Keep this manual for future reference.
    – Keep the packaging so that the unit can be shipped in the original packaging in order to avoid damage.
    – For indoor use only.
    – Make sure that there is sufficient cooling in the mounting area.
    – Never plug or unplug the unit with wet hands.
    – If the plug and/or mains lead are damaged, they need to be repaired by a qualified technician.
    – If the unit is damaged to an extent that you can see internal parts, do not plug the unit into a mains outlet.
    – Keep away from heat and direct sunlight. Make sure that neither liquids, nor small objects can enter the unit through the ventilation holes.
    – Only clean the unit with a damp, dust free cloth. Do not use cleaners or solvents!
    – Do not use contact spray or cleaning agent to clean the switches and pot meters.
    – Repairs have to be carried out by a qualified technician only.
    – Only connect this unit to an earthed mains outlet of 230Vac/50Hz and 10-16A.
    – Always unplug the unit during a thunderstorm or when it is not in use.
    – When you unplug the unit from the mains always pull the plug, never the lead.
    – The unit does not contain any user replaceable parts other than those specified in this manual.

    – In order to prevent dropping of the unit, a safety fastening needs to be installed. This can be a solid chain, a steel cable, etc. which has to be fastened separately from the mounting bracket.
    – The supplied bracket is the main fixing and must be used to solidly mount the light effect.
    – In order to avoid accidents in public premises, the local legal requirements and safety regulations/warnings must be fulfilled.
    – Keep out of the reach of children.

Intro

This high-performance 1800W snowmachine creates a winter nature during any party. The artificial snowflakes whirl meters away and provide a nice atmosphere and an extra dimension in e.g. an après-ski atmosphere. Supplied with remote control.

Safety Recommendations:
Always connect the snow machine to a wall outlet or an earthed mains lead! Be careful when filling the tank. Unplug the unit from the mains first! Open the tank and fill it by means of a suitable funnel. Only use Beamz snow fluid. This fluid is environmentally friendly, biodegradable and, if properly used, leaves no residues (please see as stated below). Do not obstruct the openings on top of the housing in order to ensure a proper cooling. Do not place any objects on the snow machine.

Installation and use:
Unpack the unit. Fill the tank via a funnel and plug the unit into a mains outlet. Switch the compressor motor on by pressing the button on the remote control. The snow machine produces immediately a nice flow of artificial snow at a distance of about 6m.

Location:
Place the snow machine at a location where it can be easily filled. The machine can also be hung via the supplied adjustable bracket.

Switching off:
Switch the unit off by unplugging it from the mains.

Remote Level Control
Connect the remote control to the connector on the back of the fogger. After warm-up, the LED will light up to indicate that the machine is ready for use. Use the switch to turn on / turn off the fog machine pump and use the dial to adjust the output volume from 0 ~ 100%.

DMX control (DIP)
Connect the device directly to a DMX controller or a DMX loop with multiple DMX effects. The machine has a 3-pin XLR connector for DMX connection. Address not selectable, address is always 1.

Note:
It is necessary always lock a DMX loop with a 120 Ohm terminator for correct data transmission.

CHANNEL VALUE FUNCTION
1 0 – 100% Snowlevel
2 0 – 100% Airlevel (Ch1 must be on)

Timer remote control
Connect the remote control to the connector on the back of the fogger.
After some warm-up time, the device is ready for use, the LED will light up on the remote. During use, it may happen that the machine stops, in this case the LED will go out, indicating that the machine is warming up.

Timer function:

  • Press the yellow button and set the interval, duration and volume controls to the desired level.
  • Interval: time between the smoke moments (10-200 seconds)
  • Volume: amount of smoke (0-100%)
  • Duration: duration of the smoking time

Continuous function:
Press the red button and set the volume to the desired level. The machine will continueously produce an amount of smoke. It may be that the machine in between have to warm up, during this period no smoke is produced. How many times this is done depends on the amount of smoke.

Manual Mode:
Press the green button to produce 100% smoke immediately; this button overrides all previous settings.

Snow fluid, high quality on water basis, specially designed for the Beamz snow machine. Is used undiluted and guarantees trouble-free operation. 1 litre pack, Ref no. 160.578. Do not attempt to make any repairs yourself. This would invalid your warranty. Do not make any changes to the unit. This would also invalidate your warranty. The warranty is not applicable in case of accidents or damages caused by inappropriate use or disrespect of the warnings contained in this manual. Tronios BV cannot be held responsible for personal injuries caused by a disrespect of the safety recommendations and warnings. This is also applicable to all damages in whatever form. Electric products must not be put into household waste. Please bring them to a recycling centre. Ask your local authorities or your dealer about the way to proceed.
