Alphanumeric Pager AP-700 User Manual

Operation
Battery Gauge
The battery indicator is located on the status screen and keeps you informed
of battery energy level. The three indicators range from – (full), (1/2),
(low). Whenever the low battery shows on display, Please replace the new
battery in to make sure the pager is in receivable condition.
Turning Your Pager Off
- Press , then , press or to ” PAGER OFF ” mode. Press till ” PAGER OFF ? ” appears on the screen. Press , to turn the pager off . After turning your pager off , the screen is empty.
- Press , to turn the pager power on.
Operation
Read Message
- A flashing , . symbol indicates you have a message has not been read.(The symbol of mail drop shows on screen by flashing).
- Press or, to preview the message.
- Press , to disp lay your message.,Press again, to view
If you have set ” Auto Scroll ” , your pager will scroll through your message screen by screen automatically
Set Alert
- Press , then , press OR once to display ” SET ALERT ” Mode .
- Press , to enable “SET ALERT”.
- Press , to move the cursor to the desired alarm mode .( Alert .)/ Musical / Vibration / Sleep are optional )
- Press , ORto move to the cursor to the desired tone or music .
- Press Dsetting the alert is completed.
Locking Message
- Press or , to move the cursor to the desired flashing symbol –
- Press , press or to select the desired message to lock. Press , to lock the message.
- The symbolis displayed , indicating the status of the message in memory.
Set Scroll

Press , then , press ,OR to SET SCROLL” Mode .

Press , to en able scrol automatically.

Press CID, to select the scroll speed.

(3) rapid, (4) X-off -
Press to activate the function.

When the Auto scroll is set, the; symbol is displayed on screen.
Delete Message
- Press ,OR to move the cursor to select the message you desire. Press D to read the message.
- Press , press ,OR to display” MESSAGE DELETE ” Mode.
- When ” MES SAGE DELETE ? ” is displayed on the screen , press(}Jto delete the message.
Zoom In/ Out
- Press ,then press \, to “ZOOM IN”.(symble _), Then, press to confirm ..
- The letters on screen enlarge and become two lines to read.
- Or press to move the cursor again to ” ZOOM OUT ” (symble .), and press to complete.
- The letters on screen change to four lines to read.
Delete All Message
- Press , press , to ” DELETE ALL” Mode .
- When ” DELETE ALL? ” is displayed , Press , all unlocked and read messages are deleted.
Set Mail Drop Alert
- To move the cursor to the Mail Drop.
- Press CID, to display the function menu.
- Press (}J, to move the cursor to set mail drop alert ( J’ ).
- Press CID, to activate the function .Or press @D, to exit the function .
Move Message To Memo
- Press W or (}J, to move the cursor to the desired storing message.
- Press @D to read the message.
- Press CID, and press (}J once, to move to” MOVE TO MEMO” Press CID, to move the flashing icon message automatically into your memo mail .
Error Message
If it is received the error message. The f symbol is shown in the top left-
hand corner of the display , indicates the message status as a Error message.
Reading Full Message
- Press W or (}J, to move the flashing icon to the kl symbol. Press @D, to read message.
- When the kl symbol is shown in the top left-hand corner of the display , indicates the message status as a full message.
