READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS MANUAL BEFORE USE

WARNING
Not for use with aggressive dogs. Do not use this product if your dog is aggressive, or if your dog is prone to aggressive behavior. If you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your dog, please consult your veterinarian or a certified trainer.

• For use with dogs over 6 months of age and over 8 lbs.
• DO NOT use it when the dog or the collar is/ are wet.
• Your pet should not vocalize or panic when receiving stimulation. If this happens, the stimulation level is too high, and you need to go back to the previous level and repeat the process.
• DO NOT charge the device near any flammable substances.
• This is not a toy, not for use on children. For pet use only. Should only be operated by responsible adults.

CAUTION
For on-leash training. Do not attach a leash to the bark collar. Use a regular collar in addition to the bark collar. Risk of skin damage. Please read and follow the instructions in this manual. The proper fit of the collar is important. A collar too light or worn too long on the pet’s neck may cause skin damage. Ranging from redness to pressure ulcers; this condition is commonly known as bed sores.

• Do not leave the collar on the dog for more than 12 hours per day.
• When possible reposition the collar on the pet’s neck every 1 to 2 hours.
• Check the fit to prevent excessive pressure; follow the instructions in this manual.
• Never connect a leash to the electronic collar; it will cause excessive pressure on the contacts.
• Wash the dog’s neck area and the contacts of the collar weekly with a damp cloth.
• Examine the contact area daily for signs of a rash or a sore.
• If a rash or sore is found, discontinue use of the collar until the skin has healed. If the condition persists beyond 48 hours, see your veterinarian.
• Bark collar meets IP67 waterproof rating; it can be submerged into water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. If submerged and wet, please do not use.
• This product comes with conductive silicone covers, please ensure they are worn on the contact points before putting the receiver on your dog and check for the presence silicon cover every hour.

These steps will help keep your pet safe and comfortable. Millions of pets are sensitive to contact pressure. You may find after some time that your pet is very tolerant of the collar. If so, you may relax some of these precautions. It is important to continue daily checks of the contact area. If redness or sores are found, discontinue use until the skin has fully healed.

Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Warning

• Do not disassemble the battery compartment.
• The product contains a non-replaceable battery. If the battery is exposed or removed, please ensure that the batteries are properly disposed of in accordance with your local waste rules and regulations.
• Discontinue use if the product is damaged.
• Please ensure that products with batteries are properly disposed of in accordance with your local waste rules and regulations.
• If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
• Batteries should be charged prior to use. Charge only with a specified charger.
• Don’t store product with a battery in a temperature over 60 ° C.

Test The Product

Charge the Bark Control Collar before use.

You can charge the product via PC, Power Bank or Adapter with output voltage of 5V for 2-3 hours.

Notes:

1. /improper charger means chargers with output voltage over 5V.
2. Output voltage usually can be seen on the surface of the charger.
3. There will be no response when pressing the buttons while the device is being charged.

Power on the Bark Control Collar.

Set the Bark Control Collar to Test Mode,the display will show digit 0. After that, blow or imitate dog barking towards the microphone sensor located at the back of the product.

Put The Product on Your Pet

Attach the strap to the bark collar. follow the A-B-C-D steps instructed to thread the collar.

Notes:
If you have the TPU strap in your package, mark the desired length, leaving some extra inches (if your dog is still young and grow more or for a thicker winter coat),and cut off the excess. Seal the edge of the cut strap by holding it above the fire for a few seconds.

Put the product on your dog.

Please ensure to fit the product snugly, yet loose enough to allow one finger to fit between the strap and your pet’s neck.

1. Q: Why doesn’t the product work when the dog barks?
   A: Please first ensure to fit the product snugly, yet loose enough to allow one finger to fit between the strap and your pet’s neck. Some dogs have weak barking, in this case you will need to level up the sensitivity level. A thick coat on the neck area may also have a small chance to decrease the sensing from the barking, trim the coat near the area where you place the product.

2. Q: Why is the product triggered sometimes in a noisy environment though the dog isn’t barking?
   A: Though we have optimized the barking detection to functionality, some environmental noises may have a similar frequency of a barking dog, which may potentially activate the product. In this case lowering the sensitivity level can eliminate this.

3. Q: Can I use the product when there are other dogs playing around?
   A: Dogs will bark when playing and get excited, for the comfort and safety of your pet, we don’t suggest using this product in such an environment.

4. Q: How do I know if I can use this product for my pet?
   A: The product is designed for healthy dogs over 6 months old, weighing no less than 8 pounds. Most importantly, this product cannot be used on unhealthy or aggressive dogs, and if you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your pet, please consult your veterinarian or a certified trainer.

5. Q: Can this product stop my dog’s howl?
   A: No, this Bark Control Collar is designed to detect the barking only. It cannot detect or stop the howling.

6. Q: Can I charge this product with any type of charger?
   A: No, you are suggested to charge this product with a charger of 5V output voltage, because a charger with an output voltage of 9V or 12V may cause damage to the product. The product will stop charging automatically if input voltage becomes too high and deliver a warning tone.

7. Q: Will my dog stop barking completely?
   A: The Bark Control Collar effectively and humanely stops all barking when it is worn. It should only be worn during periods of unwanted barking.

8. Q: Is the Bark Control Collar safe and humane?
   A: Yes. The Bark Control Collar is designed to get your dog’s attention, not to punish him. However, the initial static shock correction may startle your dog.
