GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BOAT

CONTROLLER BATTERY INSTALLATION

PLEASE NOTE

  •  Make sure the batteries have been inserted correctly ( 1 or•) into the controller.
  • If the boat does not respond properly. please replace the alkaline batteries In the controller.

Remember to lake out an of the batteries from 1he controller and boat if they will not bo used for a long time.

BOAT PREPARATIONS

  1.  Unscrew 4 screws and open the battery door.
  2.  Remove the battery door and insert 6 AA batteries (not included)
  3. Replace the battery door.

DO NOT MIX ALKALINE, STANDARD (CARBON-ZINC), OR RECHARGEABLE (NICKEL CADMIUM] BATTERIES.do NOT MIX OLD AND NEW BATTERIES. DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERIES IN FIRE. BATTERIES MAY EXPLODE OA LEAK.

USING YOUR FISHING BOAT

  1. Put the boat on the water, it will be turned ON automatically.
  2.  Press ON/OFF on the controller to “ON”. The LED indicator on the controller will light up.
  3. Use the controller levers to drive and steer the boat.
  4.  If ! the boat does not respond, switch the controller to “OFP’ and repeat step 1 and 2.
  5.  Forming. genl tum the night lever for the desired direction.
  6. Become familiar with maneuvering the boat before you increase the speed to reduce the risk of damage to the boat.
    After you are familiar with your boat and wish to add the fishing line. steer the boat back to you. and retrieve the boat using the telescoping hook if necessary.

TRIMMING METHODS

Trimming your Boat:

  1. The Alignment Control Dial is located in the controller. To adjust. place the boat in the water.
  2.  the boat begins to pull to the LEFT, adjust the trtm control towards the “R” marking.
  3.  If the boat begins to pull to the RIGHT adjust the trim control towards the  marking.

NOTE

Fishing with your RC Boat

Use extreme caution around ishing hooks, adult supervision is requáred.

  1.  Take one pre-assembled tackle kit, unwind, and place the eyelet on the eyelet hitch on the back ol the boat
  2. Always have an adult present while baiting the fishing hook. Bait hook with desired bait.
  3. Place the boat in the water (using your telescoping hook If necessary
  4. Steer boat around to areas with fish. Only upa the siza of fishing hook as provided. The smaller hook is designed to bmit the go of fsh ycu can catch. using a larger hock may result in catching op large of lush that could rough in a shepped ino (ratod tor 2s. or loss ol product, and injury or doath to the larger fish,
  5. To adjust the depth of the line, place the slip bobber to the desired length and pinch line by placing a loop of the line between the head and body of the floater.
  6. If the slip bobber begins to bob and go under, carefully steer Ihe boat back to you, and use the telescoping hook to lift up the boat under the bar and retrieve the fish!
  7. Use adult supervison and proper fishing practices remove the fish from the hook.
  8. When current stp bobber no longer works properly, replace with included replacement slp bobber, Adult supervision ig advised to cut the lino, to-tie a new one.

REMEMBER: Always check local fishing regulations prior to use. Determine whether a fishing license is required in your area and determine whether fishing with a remote controlled boal is permitted and legal in your area or state. Local fishing regulations may require a fishing line lo be connected from the boat to the angler. Tether line is included.

RC CAUTIONS

  1. Make sure you always use now or fully chargod batterles In tho controlle-

  4. Try not to crash the boat as this may cause damage.
  5. Check that the area is clear of all obstacles betore you operate.

  7. Nover operate near animals or people in the water. Keop rudder away Irom your fingers, hair, oyes and other body parts. Stay away from obstacles and electrical hazards.

BATTERY WARNINGS

  1. Non-rechargeable batterles are not to be recharged
  2. Rechargeable battories are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  3. Rechorgeable batteries are to be removed trom the toy betore being charged.
  4. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
