The monitor and Reverse camera are directly connected via a 4-pin cable with a power cord connector. If there is water inside the camera, there is no need to panic. It has a color HD license plate camera with 149-degree viewing angle and 6 white LED lights that provide clear color at both day and night. You can adjust the parking line’s width, moving Right/Left/Down/Up to make it fit for the real condition. If you do not want it, you can also turn it off. The image can be flipped between facing and mirror. You can use the camera s front camera optional or rear backup camera. It consists of a vehicle backup camera with HD 4.3 Inch LCD display monitor provided with a magnetic bracket. You can rotate it to 360 degrees and it can be mounted on the windshield or dash.
HOW TO SET UP
Pick up the monitor, there is a protective film, pull the green label, and tear it off. There are three keys on the monitor: menu key, down key, up key. Pick up the bracket, align the bracket with the bracket hole and pull up. Tighten the screws. The bracket can be flexibly adjusted. You can suck it on the windshield. After adjusting the angles, tighten the screws. Pick up the video cable. There are 2 four pin connectors and one dc connector. Connect another four-pin connector to the camera. Connect the dc adapter to the cigarette adapter. Plug the adapter into the cigarette lighter outlet then press the red button. The monitor lights up and the image appears on the screen.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Why is my rear backup camera not working?
It is caused by the dirt on the camera, as reverse cameras stay near the ground and can easily make contact with rainwater, mud or dust. If the camera feed appears normal, without any signal issues or lagging, but it’s hard to watch, it is pretty clear that you need to clean the lens. -
Can I leave my backup camera on all the time?
You just need a good quality product and right installation skills then you can leave your backup camera always on. -
Why does my backup camera Say no signal?
If it is a WIFI camera and it was functioning previously, it is clear that the camera requires a reset. You can also check the power cables and the wiring as a wire may have frayed or a cord may have been disconnected. -
Why is my rear-view camera black?
If your backup camera display is giving you white and black static or flashing, it is clear that you have a faulty connection or a fraying wire. Ensure all of the connections and cables in your backup camera system are fully connected and repair any damage. -
Can I view my backup camera while driving?
It is only powered when you are in reverse so you can not use your backup camera while drive. Secondly, you also require a system that is powered independently of the reverse light. -
Does the backup camera need power?
Your camera needs both a power source and a wired source that is grounded to your chassis, but it also needs to know when to turn off and on. -
What is a reverse trigger wire?
The reverse trigger wire is supplying a signal to your head unit to show that the vehicle has been shifted into reverse. -
Why is my backup camera blue?
It indicates that the module is not getting a signal from the camera. Check the wiring and connections but it is probably the camera itself. -
Why is my backup camera static?
The cause of static or flashing on your backup cameras may be caused by a faulty connection, an old video signal or a fraying wire. -
Why is my camera not available?
If this error happens, you should check the apps you gave permission to earlier and revoke the access. To see the app with Camera Permission on your device – click settings – notifications and app – app permission – click camera.
