PURPOSE OF THE DEVICE
For cleaning dust and dirt from hard and soft surfaces (hard floor, carpet, etc.).

The vacuum cleaner is a home appliance and is not designed for industrial applications.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures of the appliance:

  1. Carefully read the present manual prior to operating the appliance.
    Retain the present manual, cash voucher and appliance packaging.

  2. Before operating the appliance ensure that the power supply grid voltage corresponds to that indicated on the charger.

  3. Connect the appliance for charging only to power grid sockets equipped with earthing contacts, use only two-pole extension cables with 10 A rating and an earthing conductor.

  4. The appliance should be turned off during charging.

  5. Never charge the cleaner at ambient temperatures above 37 °C and below 0 °C.

  6. The charger may become hot during charging.

  7. Always disconnect the charger from the electric socket after fully charging the battery. Pull the charger connector from the charger socket of the appliance before use and any cleaning and maintenance operations.

  8. Do not leave the appliance near sources of heat.

  9. Do not obstruct the air exhaust grille.

  10. Do not use methyl alcohol and other solvents for cleaning the appliance.

  11. Do not use the vacuum cleaner to collect liquids.

  12. Only the use of original spare parts is allowed. Do not use accessories which are not included in the scope of supply.

  13. Do not turn the appliance on if it is damaged or malfunctioning.

  14. Do not charge the appliance if its power cable or plug is damaged, if doesn’t run smoothly or has been dropped.

  15. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourselves.

  16. If the charger is damaged it should be replaced by the Manufacturer, a service facility or other skilled personnel.

  17. Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquids.

  18. The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to children play with the appliance.

  19. Special instructions for transportation (shipment) and sale: none.

  20. Should You decide to transfer the appliance to another person, please pass the present manual over along with it.

OPERATION PROCEDURE

ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE

  • Attach the aluminum pipe to the main body of the device.
  • Insert an electric brush into the other end of the aluminum pipe.
  • Connect the adapter to the device, insert the adapter block into a socket with a voltage of 220-240 V.
  • Before using for the first time, charge the vacuum cleaner for 5 hours, after which it is fully charged. For subsequent use, the normal charging time will be 4 hours.
  • When charging is complete, disconnect the adapter from the outlet and from the device.
  • Secure the plastic wall mount (16) using the screws and dowels included in the kit ( Fig. 1). Install the vacuum cleaner and additional attachments (13, 14) onto the mount.

OPERATING THE DEVICE AS A VERTICAL VACUUM CLEANER

  • Press the on/off button (2) to turn on the vacuum cleaner.
  • Using the mode switching button (10), select the operating mode of the vacuum cleaner: 1, 2, 3. When selecting a mode, the corresponding indicator will light up.
  • When the battery charge is 20%, switching to high mode is impossible.
    The device will operate in minimum mode.

OPERATION/CHARGING INDICATION

While the vacuum cleaner is operating, the selected mode indicator and the green vacuum cleaner operating indicators (9) will light up.
When the device is connected to a power source, the battery will charge, the indicators (9) will light up alternately.
If a fault occurs, the indicators (9) will flash simultaneously.
As the battery discharges, the indicators (9) go out one by one until the last flashing indicator remains. Connect the device to the network.

Please remove the aluminum tube from the device and install a narrow nozzle or brush attachment on the body of the device.
The 2 in 1 brush attachment has 2 positions. To re-fluff, press the button on the brush and move it up and down.

MAINTENANCE OF THE DEVICE

CLEANING THE FLOOR BRUSH

  • Press the latch at the bottom and remove the cover latch.
  • Remove the rotating roller.
  • Remove hair and debris from the roller with your fingers or a knife.
  • Rinse the roller under running water.
  • Dry the roller completely before reassembling.
  • Reinstall the rotating roller. Slide the lock to its previous position.

DUST REMOVAL

Method 1: Press the dust bin open button (3), empty the dust bin.
Method 2 : Remove the dust collector from the device body by turning it counterclockwise. Press the dust bin opening button (3). Empty the dust bin.

CLEANING THE FILTERS

Press the button on the bottom of the dust bin (3) to open it.
Insert a narrow nozzle into the grooves, fix it, turn it counterclockwise, and remove the plastic filter.
Remove the HEPA filter from the plastic filter and clean it.
After cleaning, reassemble the device.

We strongly recommend observing the following maintenance rules;
they will help retain the suction capacity and quality performance of the CENTEK TM vacuum cleaner. This is also the prerequisite for free guarantee maintenance.
Do not wash the filter in a washing machine and do not dry it with a hair drier.

Check the dust collector and filter after each use of the cleaner. Failure to do this may cause a suction capacity reduction and failure of the appliance.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

For reasons of safety the Lithium-Ion batteries in this cleaner are only replaceable by a service engineer. When the batteries fail to maintain charge, please contact the Customer Service Centre to arrange a replacement.

END OF PRODUCT LIFE BATTRTY REPLACEMENT

If the cleaner is to be disposed off the batteries should be removed. Used batteries should be taken to a recycling station and not disposed whit household waste. To remove the batteries, please contact the Customer Service Centre or proceed according to the following instructions:
IMPORTANT: Always fully discharge the batteries before removal and ensure charger is unplugged.

  • Run the unit until the batteries are completely empty.
  • Release the handheld unit from the main body of the cleaner.
  • Press the dust container release button and remove the dust container.
  • Remove 6 screws and open the unit.
  • Remove the motor /battery housing and disconnect the cables.
  • Remove the batteries from the housing.

NOTE: Should you experience any difficulties in dismantling the unit or for more detailed information about treatment, recovery and recycling of this product, please contact your local city office, your household waste disposal service.

Upon expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to further operation of the appliance. DEAR VALUED CONSUMER!

The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months since the date of sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer confirms the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free of charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.

GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

  1. The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions
    are observed:

    • The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card.
      The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous.
  2. The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:

    • the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
    • the safety rules and requirements are observed.
  3. The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.

  4. The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:

    • mechanical damage;

    • normal wear of the appliance;

    • non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;

    • improper installation or transportation;

    • natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;

    • ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;

    • repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;

    • use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;

    • failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
      a) remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
      b) consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);

    • for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;

    • for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.

  5. The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.

  6. The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.

  7. Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).

The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.
