Please read me before installation

Dear customer, many thanks for choosing LAMONKE Dash Cam, here are a few tips before installation.

Warm Tips:

  1. Important! Please use the original power cable provided in the package, do not use other power cables. Another power cable may make the camera unstable or even damaged.
  2. Please format your Micro SD card in the dashcam before recording.
  3. Please tear off the films on the screen and lens before using them.
  4. If your suction cup or other accessories are broken or missed, please contact us, we will get back to you quickly and help you solve it( [email protected] ).

Q&A:

Q1: How to format the dash cam memory card?

A1:

  1. Press OK to stop video recording first.
  2. Long Press the M button to go to Video Settings.
  3. Short Press the M button again to go to System Settings.
  4. Press the DOWN button to scroll down until you see FORMAT.
  5. Press OK to enter the Format submenu.
  6. Then Press DOWN to highlight FORMAT.
  7. Press OK button to Format the memory card.

Q2: SD Card error occurs.
A2: Format the SD card or replace the SD card.

NOTE: It is recommended to use a high-speed card (above Class6) for the memory card, 32GB-64GB is the best

Q3: Automatically restart and stop recording during use.
A3: Turn off the parking monitoring function or replace the high-speed memory card

NOTE:

  1. The parking monitoring function is turned on, as long as the car vibrates while driving, it will automatically shut down.
  2. If the speed of the memory card cannot keep up, it will also cause an automatic restart.

Q4: Unable to seamlessly loop recording video and missing recording video
A4: Select the recording duration, close the gravity sensing and parking monitoring functions, or replace the high-speed memory card

NOTE:

  1. Be sure to select the duration of the recording video, or the video cannot be looped and overwritten.
  2. If you turn on the gravity sensing and parking monitoring functions, the video will not be overwritten automatically. When the memory card is full, you need to manually delete the original video, and you need to format the memory card again to record the video again.
  3. If the running speed of the memory card does not meet the requirements, the video will also be missed, not recorded, and it is easy to crash.

Q5: Why does my dashcam turn off randomly?
A5 :

  1. The power connection is not stable, just a well-connected power supply is OK.
  2. The card is full when the card is full the camera has no space to store new files so it turns off which to remind you to format the card.We suggest you format the card monthly to extend its life span.

Q6: Camera saying “please insert a C6 card” after inserted a card, why?
A6:

  1. If the card is a low-speed or bad quality card, changing a high-speed good quality card is OK.
  2.  Insert the card before powering on the dashcam, if the dashcam could not recognize the card, just turn off the camera and insert the card, then turn on the dash camera is OK.

Q7: The camera could not turn on?
A7:

  1.  The dashcam needs a continuous power supply, check the power connection if it is OK.
  2. The card is defective will result in the camera could not turn on, taking out a card, or changing a new card to insert the camera.

Q8: Button not responding
A8:

Be sure you are operating while recording video? If the recording is not stopped, the buttons cannot be operated.
