How to Use

1. Remove the Fire Ring from the Fire Pit.

2. If using firelogs, follow instructions and cautions on the firelog wrapper. Do not burn more logs than instructed and do not add wood or any other materials to the firelog fire. For best results, use duraflame® OUTDOOR Firelogs.

3. If using firewood, place duraflame® firestarter or kindling in the center of the Fire Pit.
   TIP: FOR BEST RESULTS DO NOT OVER FILL WITH WOOD. ONLY FILL TO BELOW THE TOP VENT HOLES – DO NOT COVER VENT HOLES. THIS HELPS TO INCREASE EFFICIENCY AND LIMIT SMOKE OUTPUT.

4. Light your fire carefully.

5. Carefully replace Fire Ring.

6. As fire burns, carefully add more wood logs as needed (if burning firewood), best to use a tool (such as a log grabber). DO NOT PUT YOUR HAND INSIDE OF HOT FIRE PIT.

7. When you are finished using your Fire Pit, allow the fire to go out on its own. Do not use water to extinguish.

8. Once your Fire Pit has COMPLETELY COOLED DOWN remove grate by pulling on handle and clean out the ashes.

Tips for Maintenance:

• Always keep your Fire Pit covered when not in use–exposure to weather can increase discoloration and can harm the inside of your Fire Pit. Due to high temperature–the Fire Pit may discolor–which is normal for Stainless Steel.
• Use dry, seasoned firewood or duraflame® outdoor firelogs.
• Use with the duraflame® Fire Pit Stand for use on multiple surfaces. (Stand sold separately)

• DO NOT TOUCH FIRE PIT WHILE IN USE, WAIT UNTIL COMPLETELY COOL
• KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN & PETS
• DO NOT TOUCH EMBERS OR ASH UNTIL COMPLETELY COOL
• DO NOT LEAN OBJECTS AGAINST FIRE PIT
• FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY–DO NOT USE INDOORS OR UNDER ANY FORM OF COVER
• DO NOT USE ON A BOAT OR IN A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
• FOR USE ON A NON-COMBUSTIBLE SURFACE ONLY–IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO USE ON WOOD OR A COMPOSITE SURFACE
• NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE ON GRASS OR LAWN SURFACES WITHOUT A STAND UNDERNEATH
• KEEP AWAY FROM GASOLINE OR ANY FLAMMABLE SUBSTANCE
• ALWAYS USE IN COMPLANCE WITH ANY STATE OR NATIONAL CODES/LAWS
• DO NOT USE NEAR ANY BUSHES, SHRUBS OR HANGING TREE BRANCHES
• USE CAUTION WHEN LEANING OVER FIRE PIT
• ALWAYS KEEP FIRE PIT COVERED WHEN NOT IN USE
• DO NOT USE IF DAMAGED OR BROKEN
• FOR BEST RESULTS DO NOT OVERFILL WITH WOOD ABOVE TOP AIR VENT HOLES
• DO NOT USE WATER TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE
• ONLY USE WITH FIREWOOD OR MANUFACTURED FIRELOGS (LIKE DURAFLAME)
• DO NOT USE LIQUID FIRESTARTERS OR LIGHTER FLUID
• DO NOT LEAVE THE FIRE PIT UNATTENDED AND MAKE SURE THAT CHILDREN AND ANIMALS ARE SURPERVISED AROUND THE FIRE PIT AT ALL TIMES.
