WARNING! This Hammock is for outdoor use only.
DO NOT use indoors.
WARNING! This Hammock is not designed or intended for use by children.
Children should be supervised at all times as the risk of entanglement and
choking is present.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION FOR ASSEMBLY.
CAUTION: The assembly pack contains small parts which pose a choking
hazard to children and animals. Keep children and pets clear at all times
during assembly.
Locate the Hammock in a suitable area where it will not create an obstruction.
Keep well away from sources of heat (such as a fire), dampness, or moisture.
DO NOT attach to awnings, parasols or gazebos.
RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY. This Hammock is not suitable for more than 1
person at any time.
WARNING! Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 120kg/265lbs.
Do not use the Hammock with more than the recommended safe capacity, or if any
parts appear to be worn or damaged.
Keep away from sharp objects, jewellery or clothing.
Take care with anything that will catch on the strings such as buttons or
studs.
This product is not a swing. Children must be supervised at all times to
ensure they do not play with the Hammock.
Do not jump into, swing from or within, the Hammock.
Never spin, twist or rotate the Hammock when in use.
STORAGE & MAINTENANCE.
Tie a few loose knots at the end of the strings at each end.
Hand wash only.
Remove your Hammock immediately after the spin cycle as dyes in the fabric may
bleed.
CAUTION: Do not tumble dry. Always hang your Hammock out to dry.
Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Always keep your Hammock indoors when not in use.
CAUTION: Never store your Hammock whilst damp.
Do not leave the Hammock outdoors in the rain, or expose it to direct
sunlight. This will cause the fabric and colour to deteriorate, reducing the
lifespan of the Hammock.
Please check your Hammock safety capacity each and every time prior to using
it.
POSITIONING YOUR HAMMOCK
You will need to find 2 fixed points from which to hang you, Hammock. Try
trees, thick beams or posts on your veranda (if suitable).
WARNING! Never hang your Hammock from a free-standing brick wall.
Your Hammock should hang in any space of 3 metres or greater. This should
leave the centre of the Hammock around 20-30cm off the ground when you sit in
it.
Often the distance between the 2 fixed points will be greater than 3 metres
and you may need some rope.
In this case, it is important to attach one or both ends to a higher point to
give the Hammock some shape, roughly 90cm higher for each extra metre of span.
Stretching the Hammock flat (as illustrated above) is not comfortable and may
cause the Hammock to break.
The easiest way to determine where to hang your Hammock is by holding the
Hammock in place before attaching any fixings. 2 people will be required to
help with this step.
