INTENDED USE

Only operates the appliance for its intended purpose and within the parameters specified in this manual.
This appliance is for domestic use only. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or given appropriate instruction concerning the product’s use by a person responsible for their safety.
The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

GENERAL SAFETY

Do not allow to be used as a toy.
Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
If the appliance is not functioning properly, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or immersed in liquid, do not use, contact DOMU Brands Customer Services.
Do not use the appliance if any parts appear to be faulty missing or damaged.
Ensure all parts are securely attached as instructed by this instruction manual before use.

CABLES AND PLUGS Check to ensure your electricity supply matches that shown on the rating plate. This product should only be used as rated. Preferably, the socket outlet should be protected by a Residual Current Device RCD (UK/EU) Ground Fault Indicator (US). Do not use with a damaged cable or plug. If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified engineer or authorised service agent in order to avoid a hazard. The use of an extension cable is not recommended. Do not handle the plug or appliance with wet hands. Keep the cable away from heated surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the table or countertop where it could be pulled on inadvertently by children or pets. Do not pull the cable around sharp edges or corners. Do not leave unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use. Turn off all controls before unplugging. Do not unplug by pulling on the cable. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cable. Always unplug before performing user maintenance, connecting or disconnecting attachments, or changing accessories. Ensure the cable is stored safely to prevent hazards.

RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY Always locates your appliance away from the edge of the worktop, on a firm, flat, heat-resistant surface with sufficient space around all sides. Do not insert any objects into openings or cover the appliance. Do not place any cardboard, plastics or paper inside or on the appliance unless stated in the instructions. Do not use the appliance near any combustible surfaces. Only use suitable cookware where applicable. Do not use outdoors or near heat sources. Take care not to touch any surfaces that may get hot when in use. Take care not to touch any surfaces that may remain hot for a period of time after use. Never operate the appliance when empty. Do not overload/overfill the appliance. When used for the first time your appliance may give off a ‘new’ smell or vapor. This will dissipate after a few uses. Do not lift or move the appliance whilst in use. Do not operate continuously for periods longer than those marked on the product or indicated in the instructions. Ensure the appliance is switched off and unplugged before changing accessories or cleaning. Use only as described in this manual and with DOMU Brands’ recommended attachments only.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Never soak or immerse electrical or heating components and or a component that has a plug attached. Hand washing is recommended; soak in warm soapy water and wipe down using a soft sponge. To remove stubborn stains, use a nonabrasive cleaning brush. Do not use abrasive, harsh cleaning solutions or metal scouring pads. Never wash any electrical or heating components and or a component that has a plug attached to a dishwasher.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Carefully unpack the 3 Pan Buffet Warmer and remove all packaging materials, including any stickers or labels.
Clean the WARMING PANS and LIDS in warm soapy water and allow them to dry completely.
Wipe the WARMING PLATE with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly before use.
Position the appliance on a heatproof mat before use to avoid possible damage to countertop surfaces.

WARNING! Never immerse the WARMING PLATE in water or any other liquid, or place in a dishwasher to clean. Wash by hand only.

ASSEMBLY

Ensure the 3 Pan Buffet Warmer is placed on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface with sufficient space around all sides.
IMPORTANT: Ensure that the appliance is positioned the correct way round with the TEMPERATURE REGULATOR facing forward. VonHaus 2000161 300W 4 Pan

Place the PAN FRAME onto the WARMING PLATE, ensuring the lips sit securely over the edges.
IMPORTANT: When using the Buffer Warmer with the WARMING PANS, always ensure the PAN FRAME is securely fitted.VonHaus 2000161 300W 4 Pan Buffet

OPERATION – WITH WARMING PANS

Connect the Buffet Warmer to a suitable mains socket. Ensure the TEMPERATURE REGULATOR is set to the ‘OFF’ position before connecting.
CAUTION: If the TEMPERATURE REGULATOR is not set to the ‘OFF’ position when connected, it may cause the appliance to overheat or possibly fail to operate.
Switch on the appliance by turning the TEMPERATURE REGULATOR to the required temperature. The INDICATOR LIGHT will illuminate red to indicate that the appliance is heating up.
Once the set temperature has been reached, the INDICATOR LIGHT will extinguish.
Add your cooked, pre-prepared ingredients to the WARMING PANS. Distribute the ingredients evenly to ensure all contents are warmed through.

WARNING! Only add ingredients to the Buffet Warmer using wooden or silicone cooking tongues (not supplied) to avoid contact with the hot surface of the WARMING PANS.
IMPORTANT: All ingredients added must be thoroughly cooked before adding them to the WARMING PANS.
This appliance is designed to warm food only and is not intended to heat from chilled or frozen.
IMPORTANT: Ensure you have pre-prepared your food beforehand. Do not attempt to slice any ingredients whilst in the WARMING PANS as this will damage and scratch the surface.
Position the LIDS on top of the WARMING PANS and ensure they are secure.
NOTE: The INDICATOR LIGHT will cycle on and off during operation. This is completely normal as the appliance maintains the set temperature.
IMPORTANT: We recommend that you do not operate this appliance for more than 8 hours at a time.
After use, turn the TEMPERATURE REGULATOR to the ‘OFF’ position and disconnect from the mains. Allow the WARMING PANS and PAN FRAME to cool completely before removing them from the WARMING PLATE.
CAUTION: The Buffet Warmer will remain warm for some time after disconnecting from the mains.
Discard any remaining ingredients and wipe the WARMING PANS with a paper towel to remove any grease or oils before cleaning.
The Buffet Warmer can be used without the PAN FRAME and WARMING PANS. Simply remove them before connecting to the mains socket. Ensure the appliance is placed on a suitable heatresistant surface. For this option, preheating the appliance is required. Turn the TEMPERATURE REGULATOR to the desired temperature. The INDICATOR LIGHT will illuminate to indicate that the appliance is warming. Allow the WARMING PLATE to heat up for 10 minutes before adding your heat-resistant containers, pots or plates to the WARMING PLATE. IMPORTANT: Ensure your containers are heatproof and of a suitable size (not too large) before use. The WARMING PLATE is not designed to keep large, deep pots of food or liquids warm. IMPORTANT: All ingredients added must be thoroughly cooked before adding them to the WARMING PANS. This appliance is designed to warm food only and is not intended to heat from chilled or frozen. IMPORTANT: Ensure you have pre-prepared your food beforehand. Do not attempt to slice any ingredients whilst positioned on the WARMING PLATE as this will damage and scratch the surface. NOTE: The INDICATOR LIGHT will cycle on and off during operation. This is completely normal as the appliance maintains the set temperature.

WARNING! Always use a suitable heat-resistant oven glove to remove the warmed plates or pots from the WARMING PLATE. Attempting to remove items from the  PLATE using your bare hands will cause burn injuries.

After use, turn the TEMPERATURE REGULATOR to the ‘OFF’ position and disconnect the appliance from the main socket. Allow cooling completely before cleaning.

MAINTENANCE

IMPORTANT: Ensure the WARMING PLATE, PAN FRAME, and WARMING PANS have completely cooled before cleaning.
Once the Buffet Warmer has completely cooled, disassemble the appliance (if it has been used with the WARMING PANS).
To clean the WARMING PANS and LIDS, leave to soak in warm soapy water for several minutes to help remove any stubborn greasy residue. Gently scrub with a non-abrasive sponge before rinsing with clean water.
Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or paper towel.
If used without the WARMING PANS, gently wipe the WARMING PLATE using a nonabrasive sponge. Clean the WARMING PLATE with warm water and mild detergent,  using circular motions to remove any stubborn ingredients. Ensure the WARMING PLATE is completely dry before storing.

WARNING! Do not immerse the WARMING PLATE in water or any other liquid to clean.

CAUTION: Do not use any abrasive cleaning materials to clean the WARMING PLATE or WARMING PANS as this can scratch the surfaces.
The PAN FRAME can simply be wiped using a damp cloth.
