In the unlikely usage of a ‘non-genuine’ purification cartridge that could potentially deliver unsafe water – an indication light will draw your attention. For your complete protection, it even shuts down the purification process. Not just this, it also alerts you in advance when the Aquaguards purification cartridges are reaching the end of their usable life (6000 litres), so that you can contact the authorised Eureka Forbes service center for your required ‘genuine’ purification cartridge’ replacement. i-Filter, Chemi-Block, Active Copper and RO Membrane (in RO/RO+ UV/RO+UV+UF models only).

A QUICK CHECKLIST

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION OF WATER STORAGE TANK

Note: Storage Tank of this product must be periodically cleaned (at least once in every 30 days) by a disinfectant. Disinfection Tablets may be purchased from the Company Authorised Service
Centre. Please follow the disinfection process strictly as per the instructions as provided in this User
Manual.
Orain the tank completely .
Switch OFF the water purifier from the main power supply.
Open the top cover, wipe the inside of the tank with a dry, clean soft cloth.
Keep the top cover in place.
Switch the power supply ON. let the storage tank get filled & then drop one disinfection tablet’ into the tank.
Caution: Keep the Disinfection Tablets out of the reach of children.
Do not eat / consume the tablet.
Keep the top cover in place & leave the unit for 30 min.
After 30 min. open the tap & discard this and the first filling water completely.
Now your unit is ready to use. In case you notice any medicinal taste/smell, discard the tank of water fully & let ii refill again.
Please ensure that this disinfection process is carried out by the authorised installation person/service technician during first installation and in every subsequent mandatory servicing of
our product. •Available with Eureka Forbes Service Technician.

CARTRIDGE LIFE

Note: Please refer standard test conditions• for filler life.
•Membrane Life Enhancer may get exhausted earlier, depending upon the level of hardness in water. Refill whenever Membrane Life Enhancer gets exhausted. Please check regularly (or) at every mandatory service.
**As per UV lamp manufacturer’s specification.

TIPS FOR SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE OF YOUR AQUAGUARD®

Read attentively and understand the purifier and its functions, before use.
Installation and service has to be conducted by authorised person from Eureka Forbes Limited only. +n case of any damage or incorrect functioning, immediately contact an authorised service centre of Eureka Forbes Limited.
Water from waste water tube is not suitable for drinking. You can use that water for gardening or to clean floors (For applicable models only).
Water storage tank must be periodically (al least once in every 30 days) cleaned using a disinfectant (For applicable models only).
Orain the water if it hasn’t been used for over 48 hours.
Ensure that the flow restrictor is checked and replaced (if required), by the authorised service technician during the mandatory service or in-service call (For applicable models only).
Ensure that the replacement of the consumable cartridges are done by a trained Eureka Forbes technician.
Ensure that the filter cartridges and spares used during service/replacement, are genuine and from Eureka Forbes Limited only.

WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

The goods are warranted against defects arising from faulty designs, workmanship and materials 12 months from the date of installation or 15 months from the date of sale, whichever is earlier, subject to the following’s conditions:

  1. The Customer will notify the Company in writing promptly of any defects noticed and give the Company or its authorised agent adequate opportunity to inspect test and remedy them for which the Customer will deposit the goods at its own expense, if so required by the Company, with the Company’s Office/Service
    Centre along with the original invoice in the city where they are sold

  2. The Inspection and Test report of the Company’s Office Service
    Centre will be final and binding under the Warranty for determining defects, repairs/alterations required or carried out or certifying work of the goods thereafter

  3. Aquaguard•may require initial setting, post-installation, depending on varying water conditions and power supply In case of any service requirement, post-installation, please contact the Company’s Service Centre

  4. The Company or its authorised agent will be entitled to retain any defective part replaced under the Warranty

  5. Not with standing anything to the contrary contained or implied by this Warranty: condition mentioned in this user manual. If the RO Membrane gets logged within warranty period, it will be cleaned / repaired /
    replaced free of charge as deemed fit by the company authorised service person center inspection
    f. The Customer will have no claim against the Company, its employees and its authorised agents or franchisees under or pursuant to this Warranty in respect of death or injury to the
    Customer or any other person or loss or damage to any property caused by or due to equipment failure, breakdown or accident, fire or operation or utilization of the goods otherwise than in accordance with the User Guide or by or due to any other cause or circumstances beyond the control of the Company
    g. The Company’s liability, under this Warranty, shall in no event and under no circumstances exceed the price paid by the Customer to the Company for the goods stated in the Invoice. General For

purpose of this Warranty, the following expressions shall have the following meanings respectively;

  1. The Goods’ shall mean the goods described in the Order Form
  2. The Customer’ shall mean the original purchaser of the Goods from the Company
  3.  The Company shall mean EUREKA FORBES LIMITED
  4. ‘General Terms and Conditions’ shall mean the terms and conditions agreed upon by the Customer and the Company printed on the Order Form
    a.     Consumables such as Pre-filter, Chemi-Block, I-Filterni / or repair defective components or parts, the Customer shall be
    Sediment / Ultra Filter, Membrane Life Enhancer and Active required to pay for the same as per the Company’s prevailing price
    CopperrM Cartridge which are subject to normal wear and tear in list the course of use are not covered under this Warranty
    e. Reverse Osmosis Membrane warranty is fora period of 1 year (or) •conditions apply. 6000 liters (whichever is earlier) from the date of installation on the condition that the input water is as per the standard best
