Installing the Router

Installing the Router
You can install the router on a workbench or wall.
-Installing the Router on a Workbench
Place the router on a workbench and maintain a proper clearance around the device for heat dissipation.
-Installing the Router on a Wall
Drill two holes on the wall. The holes should be level with each other and their centers should be 252.2 mm (9.93 in.) apart. Tap the two expansion anchors into the holes and drive two screws into the expansion anchors. Note: [f the router is installed on a wall, the expansion anchors and screws are customer-supplied. -
Connecting the Cables
Connect the power supply to the power plug on the router with a power cord.
Connect the WAN port (yellow) on the router to the Internet with an Ethernet cable. (1) Power Plug: 100 V AC to 240 V AC
(2) WANO: Connect the WANO port to the Internet.
(3) LANO-LAN3: Connect the LANO-LAN3 ports to the switch, the access point or other network devices with an Ethernet cable.
(Note: If the LAN port is connected to the AP directly, an extra power supply is required for the AP.) -
Powering on the Router
Connect the power adapter to the router after verifying that the router is correctly installed and the cables are properly connected. When the system status LED is solid on, perform configuration on the router.

One long flash followed by three short flashes (at 0.8 Hz)| The router is

Flashing twice in succession (at 0.8 Hz)| 1.The router is restoring factory
settings.
2.The router is upgrading the software.
Note: Do not power off the router in this case.
Solid on| The router is functioning properly.
Mesh LED (White)| Off| 1.Mesh pairing is not implemented.
2.Wireless relay is not set up.
Flashing alternately| Mesh pairing is in progress.
One bar on is low.| 1.The Mesh signal strength is low.

Two bars on| 1.The Mesh signal strength is medium.

Method 1 (Recommended)
Scan the QR code in the manual or on the device to download the Rufiji Reye
APP. Perform the intelligent networking and complete the network configuration
based on the instructions on the APP.
Method 2
Connect the PC to the SSID (default: @Ruijie-XXXXX) broadcast by the router or
connect the PC to the LAN port (blue) of the router with an Ethernet cable.
Please visit http://192.168.110.1 by browser to perform configuration.
(Google Chrome browser is recommended.)
FAQ
Q: How can | restore the device to factory settings?
A: Power on the router and wait for 2 to 3 minutes until the device is started up. Press and hold the Reset button on the router for over 5 seconds until the system status LED is fast blinking, and then release the button. After the system status LED is solid on, the router will broadcast the SSID @Ruijie- XXXXX, indicating that the router is restored to factory settings.
Q: Can | connect multiple routers with the Ethernet cables?
A: Yes. The wired connection is more stable. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the WAN port (yellow) of the secondary router and connect the other end to the LAN port (blue) of the primary router.
