INSTALLATION
Insert Micro SD Card
- Make sure the dash cam is turned OFF.
- Insert the Micro-SD Card half way in ( GOLD Contacts- Back the Lens Side)
- Now gently push the card in until it clicks & looks in place.
- Must use only Brand Name, Class-10, U3 or higher speed Micro-SD Card.
Remove Micro SD Card – To remove the Micro SD card, gently push its top edge inward until it clicks, and then pops out, then simply pull it out of the slot.
MOST IMPORTANT about Micro-sD Card
- Do not remove or insert Micro-SD card when the camera is powered on which may damage the memory card.
- You MUST Format the Micro-SD card in camera for the first time using it.
Front camera installation
- Stop the engine where there is some light and in a safe place, and then remove the key.
- Make sure to clean your windshield from the dust particles and an evaporated grease from the dash board surface.
- Attach the Static clings Sticker (it will leave no residue when removal is required) to the windshield. Peel off the protective film from the double-sided tape and attach the front camera to the Static clings sticker.
- Insert the Micro SD card into the Micro SD slot of the dash cam. (Note:please use an A-Brand high-speed Micro SD card, class 10 or above
- Plug USB charger into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket. Run the cable along your vehicle’s console and windscreen and plug it into the camera port marked with the USB icon.
- Use the cable clip to organize and hide the power cord so that it doesn’t interfere with the driver’s vision.
Rear camera installation
- The rear camera equipped with a 6-meter cable is to connect to the dash-cam via AvIN port. Please check if the provided cable is long enough to reach the rear cam in your car.
- Install the rear camera near the license plate. Feed the camera wire through to the interior of the vehicle either by drilling a new hole; or using the existing hole for the number plate light if possible. The two included screws and double sided tape will hold the camera in place.
- To use the reversing function, connect the red cable of rear camera extension cable to the anode of the car reversing lamp by using a test light or multimeter to determine which wire is anode. Rear Camera C Red Reversing Lamp E Reversing Lamp Positive Lead
- Once all of the plugs are connected and power connections are made. Switch on the ignition. Shift the gear into reverse, and if all is wired correctly; the rear camer image will appear in your dashcam.
Note Please clean the position to ensure the adhesive quality before install the rear camera. Please fasten the screws to adjust the desired rear camera view angle.

- Press power button once to turn on device; PresS and hold power button for 3 seconds to turn off device.

FORMATTING MEMORY CARD
- Press LH* to enter the Settings Menu.
- Select “Format”. 4.Select “OK”.
**MODE (VIDEO/PHOTO/PLAYBACK) SETTING

Resolution
Allow to choose the desired video resolution. Higher resolution videos result in smoother videos, but also take more storage space.
Loop Recording — Off/ 1min/ 3mins(Default)/ 5mins
- On: Here select the length(1/3/5 min) of each video clip for the loop recording. This function allows the dash cam to continuously record. Please notice: the dash cam will keep deleting the oldest files automatically when memory card gets full so that it can keep recording over and over.
- Off: The dash cam will a long video until the card is full then stop to record.
Backup Cam Mirror — Off (Default) / On
This feature works only on the rear camera image.
- On The image of the rear camera is as same as in the rear mirror, what on the left in reality -> on the right of the dash cam screen;
- Off The rear camera image is as same as what you see, what on the left in reality -> on the left of the dash cam screen.”
WDR — On/ Off(Default)
Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) processes images to ensure clear recordings in bright and dark light. This allows the Dash Cam to combine multiple images at different levels of brightness to create one superior image.
Parking Mode — On/ Off(Default)
If connected to cigarette lighter to supply power, with “Parking Monitor” function enabled, dash cam automatically starts recording a video for around 60s and lock it when any collision/impact detected.Dash cam use its internal battery(500mAh) to detect any knock or bump so supports limited times of recording a 60-second video. This mode greatly saves energy and protects your car battery. If you want to use 24-hours Parking Monitor please take refer to Page EN-14
Time Lapse Parking Mode — On/Off(Default)
This menu will be shown when ONLY connected to 3-lead hardwire kit Time Lapse Parking Mode ON: Dash cam will capture photos at 1 frame per 1s, and stitches them into a video which greatly optimizes the use of memory card.
How to set 24-hours Parking Mode
If you connect to AZDOME 3-lead hard wire kit, here are two 24-hours Parking Modes that you can select from:
- When function “Parking Mode” ON / “Time Lapse Parking Mode” OFF:Dash cam will record unlimited times of a 60-seconds video then power off whenever detecting collision/impact.This mode is ideal if you: Parked in a quiet area or want audio in all circumstances
- When you turn OFF the car’s engine. Then the camera will also power off.
- Dash cam automatically starts recording a video for around 60s and lock it when any collision/impact detected
- When you start your car for the next time, the camera will power on and goes into normal video – Loop Recording Mode automatically.
- When “Parking Mode” OFF / “Time Lapse Parking Mode” ON: Dash cam will capture photos at 1 frame per 1s, and stitches them into a video which greatly optimizes the use of memoryThis mode is ideal if you:
- Parked in a busy area with lots of vehicle and foot traffic (ie. mall parking lot)
- Want to have a quick overview of everything that happens around your parked car.
- When you turn OFF the car’s engine. Then the camera will STOP the Loop Recording and it will go into the Time Lapse Parking Mode automatically.
- While this Time Lapse Parking Mode is being recorded, If someone hits your car, then the camera will lock the video file, then saved in LOCK folder of Micro SD card > then go on Time Lapse Parking Mode recording.
- When you start your car for the next time, the camera will automatically STOP the Time Lapse Parking Mode. Then it will go into normal video – Loop Recording Mode automatically.
NOTE
- The Time Lapse Mode video files plays at faster speed and NO audio when playback.
- If function “Parking Mode” and “Time Lapse Parking Mode” are ON simultaneously, the Time Lapse Parking Mode will be the priority
G-Sensor — Off/ High/ Medium(Default)/ Low
G-sensor is a 3-axis impact gravitational accelerometer, designed to detect physical and gravitational forces on the dash cam. Once G-sensor has triggered due to physical or gravitational impact force on the camera, the current video file will be locked as an emergency file so it won’t be deleted by loop cycle function.
Exposure — -2.0/ -1.7/ -1.3/ -1.0/ -0.7/ -0.3/ 0(Default)/ +0.3/ +0.7/ +1.0/ +1.3/ +1.7/ +2.0
To adjust video exposure setting for either brighter or darker video according to your preference.
Motion Detection — On/ Off(Default)
Motion detection is a memory saving feature which only records footage where motion is taking place. You should NEVER drive your car with it enabled – as this will confuse the camera as you stop and start at lights etc. Motion Detection is designed to be used for surveillance when your car is parked and NOT moving. Usually when you are not inside your car. During your car is parked and you wanted continuous surveillance.
NOTE: The Sensitivity is affected by many factors, and the available distance is about 3 meters.
Record Audio — On(Default)/ Off
The dash cam has built-in microphone to record audio with video. You can choose to record mute video by choosing OFF. You can also press 下键图标 to mute /un-mute while video is being recorded.
Video Stamp — On(Default)/ Off
Date/Time, Latitude and longitude / live speed information will be shown on the videos when enabled.
WiFi
On/ Off(Default)
On: The screen will display the name: M63_ac64cf4df35c and its password: 12345678. Please keep your phone close to the dash cam (within 3m) when using WiFi, you could control the dash cam and check the real-time video by AZDOME APP on your phone. When enabled the dash cam won’t response to your operation by pressing the buttons,
GPS Info
To get GPS live information: numbers of satellite, live speed, longitude, latitude.
Speed Unit — KM/H (Default) / MPH
You can choose desired speed option stamp to be displayed and recorded on video stamp based on your selection.
Frequency — 50HZ/ 60HZ (Default)
To avoid the formation of bands while shooting videos under an electrical light source, Here you should choose the frequency accordingly to your power supply specification used in your country based on your geographical location.:
50HZ-In the UK, Africa, Australia, most of Asia and Russia
60HZ-North America, and a few other countries (Japan uses both)
Date/Time
Please set your Timezone first in system setting. Press to select date format and hour/ minute/ second, then press to save and exit.
Screen Saver — Off/ 1 min (Default) / 3 mins/ 5mins
On: the screen will go black and ONLY display the time after 1/3/5 minutes no- operation while the dash cam is still on/ recording (Blue lights flash), you could press any button to exit screen saver and back to normal interface.
Beep Sound — Off/On(Default)
This feature allows you to turn ON/OFF camera button’s beep sound & any voice confirmation.
Language — English(Default) and etc
Allow to choose your desired language of dash cam system.
Timezone Setting
UTC/GMT+1 to UTC/GMT+12 & UTC/GMT-1 to UTC/GMT-12, Default GMT +8
**License Plate Number**
This feature will allow you to insert custom vehicle ID or Driver ID to be stamped on video.press button to choose letter/number, then press to confirm, Finally press to save all and exit.
Fatigue Driving Remind — Off(Default)/1/2/4 Hours
This feature will alerts the driver with an alarm sound.
Format Remind —Off/ 15days/ 30days(Default)/ 60days
This feature allows you to set a FORMAT REMINDER to format your Micro SD card. Once set, the camera will remind you to format your Micro SD card at a set interval.
Storage Space
This feature will allow you to check the storage of inserted Micro SD card into the camera. Total: (Micro SD Card Capacity) Free: (Free Space of Micro SD card)
Default Setting
Here you can restore all the settings to factory default settings.
Version
Here you can check the current firmware version installed on your camera. You will need this information in the future to check if newer version of firmware is available.

Protect
This feature allows to lock/unlock the video & photo files on Micro SD card. Lock All / Lock Current / Unlock All / Unlock Current
Delete
This menu will allow you to delete current video or Delete All. Delete Current (Delete current video file on LCD)
Delete All (CAUTION: This will Delete Entire Video & Photos from Micro SD card – Except the protected files)
WiFi
W h a t i s a W i F i F e a t u r e
The WiFi feature has been designed so you can pair your dash camera wirelessly with your smartphone and access your recording instantly from the dash cam. Here you can view, download and share your videos easily with your friends and family. Just like how you would connect your Bluetooth speaker to your smartphone for wireless music play, the same way dash cameras use WiFi signal (instead of a Bluetooth) to pair your smartphone with dashcam.
NOTICE
- The WiFi signal range is about 10feet/3 meters when there are NO obstructions in the middle.
- If you can’t get the live-video on APP, please turn off the 4G network of your phone or turn on Airplave Mode.
- Please NOTE that just like your home WiFi network, you can’t have WiFi signal outside your home.
- Dash cam is NOT made to broadcast footage over the cloud or internet. It is NOT a cloud or an IP camera and it is NOT meant to do that.
- You can’t operate the dash cam when connecting WiFi. To disconnect WiFi, press and hold and hold 向上按键图标 for 2-seconds to return to the video mode.
GPS
AZDOME GPS Player supports video playback, and even displays driving track, speed, etc.
- Go to our website azdome.hk/downloads to download the AZDOME Player (For Windows or macOS);
- Install the AZDOME Player in your laptop, photo as below;

FIRMWARE UPDATE
The firmware will be updated regularly to introduce new functions and improve the general performance. When the camera doesn’t respond to your operation and the resetting doesn’t help, it’s useful to update to the latest firmware.
- Please download the M63 firmware file in http://www.azdome.hk/downloads.html
- Please copy the fimware file named FW96670A.bin to the Micro-SD card and insert Micro SD Card into dash cam. N Create any new er on the Micro-SD caro to save the fimware file. Simply cOpy a the ie directly to the CrO-SD Cara. O NOT cnange the firware Te name.Otherwise, the camera will NOT recognize the imware update
- Connect to power supply and press power button to power on the dash cam, then the dash cam screen will stay black and the first Blue light will blink rapidly for about 30-40 seconds. The dash cam will power on again when the ssfuly Walle upaaung Compiete
- Go to dash cam System Setting and select “Version'” to check if the frmware version is the latest version.
- MUST format the Micro SD Card in dashcam, otherwise the dash cam will update again when next power on. Any problems please contact us service@azdome.hk
READING DASHCAM FILES
- Please remove the Micro SD card from camera and insert it directly in your laptop if you have a Micro SD Card slot (otherwise please using a Micro SsD Card reader).
- You should be able to see drive “D” or “E or other name depending on the pre-installed hard drives.once you find the added flash drive, double click in it, then you will see the M63- Movie / LOCK/ Photo Movie: The loop recording video files that can be overwritten. LOCK: The video file will be locked so it wil NOT be deleted by loop recording function.
- Then simply double click on the video to play them.
File named A= Videos or photo captured by front camera amed
B= videos or photo captured by rear camera
FAQ
Camera does not turn ON
- Use the different UsB Cable & your smart phone’s USB charger. Now plug it into your home’s 110V wall outlet.
- When you plug it in, the camera should turn ON. FNOT, then press the Power Button Once to see if it turns ON? If it still does NOT turn ON, then remove the memory card.
- Keep the camera plugged in. Now Press the RESET button (Located at the top) ONCE with a pen’s tip or a paper clip. Now the amera should turn ON. If it still doesn’t tum ON, then please CONTACT US.
Camera showing “Memory Error or “Please Insert Micro SD Card” even though Micro SD card is already installed into the camera.
Please make sure Micro SD card is at least Class 10, U3 and purchased from trusted vendor such as Walmart, target, best buy, Ship & Sold by Amazon” etc. Go to camera’s system settings and FORMAT your Micro SD card. (make sure to backup your videos first before formatting the Micr o SD card.) After formatting Miro SD card, please press and hold power button to turn the camera off. Now unplug power cable, and re-plug the power cable, camera should now turn ON automatically and start recording.lf still error please contact us.
Camera Freezing/Lagging or Crashing.
if your camera is freezing, lagging or does NOT record video after some seconds etc. while operating: Then it is the Memory Card Issue. Either you are using the WRONG FAKE or BAD Memory Card. (Please be aware of the Fake Ones out there. If you have purchased your memory card from eBay or any third party seller online then it is most likely a fake one, even though it looks exactly real. Please trust us. We have sold thousands of AZDOME Dash Camera” s and they do NOT lag, we stand by our product and we extensive testing. Some customers simply thinks the camera is bad or not stable, but that is NOT the case here. t s the Memory Card issue. Piease CON IACI US and we are dedicaled in resolving this tor you ASAP
The video is fuzzy
Please make sure the lens of the camera is clean and there is no dirt Or grease on the windshield also. If the lens is out of tocus, we are extremely sorry in advance. This can be a manufacturing defect. Please send us an email with a screenshot or a sample video so we can get this resolved 1or you.
Camera gets HOT
normal tor your camera to run slightly hot. Working Temperature : -200~ +70C
Dashcam always turn on/off automatically.
Please RESET dashcam and update the firmware to fix the problem, if doesnt work please contact us.
The date/time always changed. Please go to camera’s system settings> Time Zone Setting> Set your correct timezone> OK to confirm. The datetime will updated when get GPS signal.
My oldest video files are missing AZDOME Dash Cam has function Loop Recording. When it is set to either 1, 3, 5-mins, it will delete oldest files and record newer files over and over when the memory card is full.
My Video playback on PC is lagging You are viewing a high-bit rate version of video fles. Slower PC may have problem with faster data processing. Please record videos at lower resolution and try again. Contact ust problem stil persistS.
