  • Retain this INSTRUCTIONS for future reference.
  • All WARNINGS and CAUTIONS should be carefully obser

WARNINGS

  • Disconnect the AC adapter in the event of accident.
Should the accident occur with the system such as smoking, smelling, sounding abnormally, dropped or damaged, disconnect the AC adapter from the AC outlet, and consult your dealer immediately.

  • Disconnect from the AC outlet, if anything gets inside.
Otherwise, it may cause a fire or an electrical shock.

  • Do not repair the system by yourself. Never modify the system.
Otherwise, it may cause a fire or an electrical shock.
There are no user serviceable parts inside.

  • Never connect to the AC power of different voltage. Never use any AC adapter other than the one supplied.
Otherwise, it may cause a fire or an electrical shock.

  • Do not use the system in the place where the water can splash on the system such as bath room, shower room, or kitchen.
Otherwise, it may cause a fire or an electrical shock.

  • Never use the AC adapter when the AC plug is dirty.
Clean it with dry cloth, or ask your dealer for service; otherwise, it may cause a fire or an electrical shock.

CAUTIONS

  • Do not operate or leave the system:
    1) in an area that is constantly exposed to the direct sunlight.
    2) near a heat source.
    3) in an area that is dusty, humid, or exposed to the water or smoke.
    4) in the car.

  • Never place the system on an unstable place such as shaky desk, inclined surface, or on a high place.

  • Never place anything on top of the system.

  • Disconnect the AC adapter when not in use.

  • Do not place magnetic media near the system.
Even speakers are magnetically shielded, it may affect the media and make it unreadable.

  • Never pull out the cords.
When disconnecting the AC adapter, hold the adapter itself, not the cord.
When disconnecting the cords, hold the plug, not the cable.
Never put anything heavy on the cord, and never break or hurt the cord; otherwise, it may cause malfunction, an electrical shock, or a fire.

Connection Diagram

Using the Speaker System

  1. Connect the speakers and AC adapter as shown in the Connection Diagram.

  2. Turn the power switch knob clockwise to turn the power on.
A click sound is heard and the power lamp lights up in green.

  3. Turn the power switch knob further to obtain the optimum sound level.

  • In case the sound level is not sufficient though the knob is turned up fully clockwise, increase the output level of the signal source as it may be set too low.

  • When using the headphones, plug it into the headphone jack. No sound comes out of the speakers.
Turn the knob fully counterclockwise before connecting the headphones, not to damage the speakers and your ears.
To turn off the speakers, turn the power switch knob fully counterclockwise.

  • Never turn it on or off by any other means to ensure safe operation of the speakers.
