With an extensive increase in the number of vehicles, it is very important to have a vast idea of the vehicles around, in order to prevent any kind of mishap. AZDOME camera helps the driver in parking the vehicle by the motion sensor technology. AZDOME car camera comes with various advanced features which include having a high definition lens. This feature of the camera facilitates a better recording experience and also helps in providing videos with intricate details such as the number plates of the other vehicles. Other than that, AZDOME cameras have loop recording which ensures that the old files are replaced by the new files without the memory space being clogged up. Moreover, it has a G-sensor system that locks specific files or data and these cannot be accessed without the user’s permission. This attribute tightens the security aspect and gives a sense of safety for both the user and the vehicle.

Using Wifi Feature

AZDOME M17 1080P HD Night Vision Car DVR Video Recorder WiFi Dashcam - Wifi
Feature

What is a WiFi Feature?
The WiFi feature has been designed so you can pair your dash camera wirelessly with your smartphone and access your recording instantly from the dashcam. Here you can view, download and share your videos easily with your friends and family. Just like how you would connect your Bluetooth speaker to your smartphone for wireless music play, the same way dash cameras use a WiFi signal (instead of Bluetooth) to pair your smartphone with AZDOME M17.

What is the WiFi Range?
The WiFi signal range is about 10FT when there are NO obstructions in the middle. Please NOTE that just like your home WiFi network, you can’t have a WiFi signal outside your home, in the same way, the WiFi range is 10FT from this small device.

Can I watch the videos or surveillance around my car remotely?
NO. AZDOME M17 dashcam is NOT made to broadcast footage over the cloud or internet. It is NOT a cloud or an IP camera and it is NOT meant to do that. You can get live video and footage on AZDOME M17’s APP as long as you stay within the 10FT range from the dashcam.

Downloading AZDOME App On the phone

  1. Search for“ AZDOME” in App Store or Google Play Store to find the App and then download and install it.

Camera’ WiFi (WiFi Name SSID: M17_ac64cfe6792d, PASSWORD: 12345678).

  4. Please keep Damascus to your phone within 3 meters. Open the AZDOME App to “Add Device”, and you will see the live video of Damascus on the AZDOME App when connecting successfully. Then keep exploring the APP from here on.

  5. You can’t operate the Damascus when connecting WiFi. To disconnect WiFi, long-press and hold down the button for 2-seconds to return to the video mode.
