INFORMATION:

5. CLEANING
   Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.

6. ATTACHMENTS
   Do not use attachments not recommended by the product’s manufacturer as they may cause hazards.

7. WATER AND MOISTURE
   Do not use this product near water—for example: near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, or laundry tub; in a wet basement; or near a swimming pool.

8. VENTILATION
   Slots and openings in the cabinet and in the back or bottom are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating. These openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surfaces. This product should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat source. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer’s instructions have been adhered to.

9. POWER SOURCES
   This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your appliance dealer or local power company. For products intended to operate from battery power, or other sources, refer to the operating instructions.

10. GROUNDING OR POLARIZATION
    This product is equipped with a polarized alternating-current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

11. POWER-CORD PROTECTION
    Power-supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.

12. LIGHTNING
    To protect your product from a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line surges.

13. POWER LINES
    An outside antenna system should not be locat- ed in the vicinity of overhead power lines or other electric light or power circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or circuits. When installing an outside antenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep from touching such power lines or circuits as contact with them might be fatal.

14. OVERLOADING
    Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.

15. OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY
    Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result in fire or electric shock. Never spill or spray any type of liquid on the product.

16. SERVICING
    Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

17. REPLACEMENT PARTS
    When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician uses replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or those that have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards.

18. SAFETY CHECK
    Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to determine that the product is in proper operating condition.

19. DAMAGE REQUIRING SERVICE
    Unplug the product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions:
    a. When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.
    b. If liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the product.
    c. If the product has been exposed to rain or water.
    d. Ifthe product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions, as an adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the product to its normal operation.
    e. If the product has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged.
    f. _ When the product exhibits a distinct change in performance this indicates a need for service.

20. HEAT
    The product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other products (including amplifiers) that pro- duce heat.

21. MAIN plug on the power cord is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device and socket outlet shall be easily accessible.

22. This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

23. This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance 20cm between the radiator & your body.

POWER SOURCES

This unit operates on 120V ~ 60HZ or 8 x DC 1.5V “C” Size (UM-2) batteries. Do not attempt to operate the product on any other power source. You could cause damage to the unit and void your warranty. Please be sure the power outlet you plug this unit into is working and receives constant (un-switched) power.

AC OPERATION

1. When the AC power cord (included) is connected to the AC Power Socket on the back of the unit and the other end is plugged into a AC 120V~ 60Hz wall outlet, the unit will disconnect from the batteries automatically, and operate on AC Power only.
2. Slide the Function Switch to your desired play mode or to the OFF/TAPE selection to turn off.

BATTERY OPERATION

1. Remove the Batteries Compartment Door.
2. Install 8 x DC1.5 V “C” Size (UM-2) batteries (not included) according to the polarity diagram inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the Batteries Compartment Door.

IMPORTANT:

• Be sure that the batteries are installed correctly.
• The wrong polarity may damage the unit and void the warranty.
• For best performance and longer operating time, we recommend the use of good quality alkaline-type batteries.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION

If the unit has never been paired with a Bluetooth device before, you need to follow the pairing instructions below to link the PUC/7OOOBT with your Bluetooth device.

1. Press the Power Switch to the power on position.
2. Press the SOURCE Button into BLUETOOTH Mode. BLUETOOTH indicator will light.
3. Press and hold the CD Stop/Bluetooth Pair Button for 4~5 seconds. Then the BLUETOOTH Indicator is flashing, the unit will goes into  Pairing/Discoverable mode.
4. Turn on the Bluetooth function of your Bluetooth device and enable the search or scan function to find the unit.
5. Select “PUC/OOOBT” from the device list when it appears on your device screen. If required, enter the passcode “0000” or “1234” to pair (link) the unit with your device.
6. After successfully pairing (linking) the Bluetooth-enabled device the BLUETOOTH indicator steadily and a short beep will heard.

Note: If you can’t pair the unit with your Bluetooth-enabled device, you can try to turn Off & On the power of your unit to solve the problem.

RADIO OPERATION

1. Press the Power button to the power on position.
2. Press the Source button to the FM mode.
3. Press the Tune+/Tune- button Control to your desired FM station the Tuning Control knob.
4. Rotate the Volume Control to adjust to the desired volume level.
5. To turn off the radio, press the Power button to the power off position.

FM RADIO:

1. Power on the unit and enter to Radio mode as previously instructed. The radio frequency will appear on the display.
2. Press the l<>I Button to select the radio station as desired.

AUTOSCAN RADIO

1. Press and hold Play/Pause Button for 2 seconds
2. The unit will auto scan available station and store in the preset memory.
3. To navigate through the stored presets, press the PROGRAM Button and then press button to select the preferred Preset Number.

SETTING RADIO PRESETS:

1. Find the radio station you would like to save.
2. Press the PROGRAM Button on the main unit or PROGRAM Button on the remote control.
3. Press l4>I buttons to select the preferred Preset Number, the display will show “P01, PO2, etc…”
4. Press the PROGRAM Button on the main unit or press PROGRAM Button on remote control again to save the station.
5. Repeatsteps 1-4 until you have finished saving your presets.
6. To navigate through the stored presets, press the Button.

Notes:

• If stereo FM radio station is receiving. The FM stereo indicator ” ” will appear on the display automatically.
• This unit can store up to 30 FM radio station presets

FM Antenna:
The FM Wire Antenna is for FM reception only. If reception is weak, unwound and relocation the wire antenna. NOTE: It may require to move the unit to a different location.

CD OPERATION

CD:
CD Playback:
The unit is designed to play nomal music CD disc bearing the correct identification logo. If the disc does not confim to the standard, it may not be played back properly.
Note: This unit is compatible with MP3 CDs.

1. Open the CD door by pull the CD OPEN (Close) area.
2. Place a CD disc on the center spindle, with the printed label side up.
3. Close the CD Door by press the CD OPEN (Close) area
4. Power on the unit and enter to CD mode as previously instructed. “Cd” indicator will appear on the display.
5. Wait a few seconds until the total number of tracks appears on the display. Then press the Play/Pause Button on the unit or Remote Control to start playback.
6. During playback:
   • Press the Play/Pause Button on the unit or Remote Control to pause, press again to resume normal playback.
   • Press the (Next/Skip Forward) or (Previous/Skip Backward) Buttons on the unit or Remote Control repeatedly to skip tracks.
   • Press and holding the (Next/Skip Froward) or (Previous/Skip Backward) Buttons on the unit or Remote Control repeatedly to fast searching the specified section.
   • Tostop, press the (Stop) Button on the unit or Remote Control.

CD Repeat / Random Playback :

1. During playback, press the MODE Button on the unit or Remote Control once. “ ” indicator will appear on the display. The current track will playback repeatedly.
2. During playback, press the MODE Button twice. “ ” indicator will appear on the display. All the tracks on the current disc will be playback repeatedly.
3. During playback, press the MODE Button three times. “ ” indicator will appear on the display. All the tracks on the current disc will be playback randomly.
4. Tocancel the Repeat/Random function, press the MODE Button repeatedly until all the repeat indicators disappear on the display.

MP3 CD Repeat/Random Playback:
Open CD door to place MP3 disc on the center spindle and close the CD door to run the disc. The “MP3” indicator will appear on the display.
During playback:

• Press the play mode button once to repeat current MP3 file.
• Press the play mode button twice to repeat the MP3 files within the folder.
• Press the play mode button three times to repeat all MP3 files within the disc.
• Press the play mode button fourth times to play the MP3 files randomly.
• Press the play mode button fifth times to return back to normal mode.

Program Play Mode
NOTE: Program can only be set in STOP mode. This function allows music tracks to be played in a programmed sequence.

1. Press the CD Program Button once. Both “01” in the CD LCD Display and the CD Program Indicator light will appear on LCD Display
2. Press the CD Skip/Search Forward or CD Skip/Search Backward Button to select the track to be programmedzd first.
3. Press the CD Program Button again to store the selection. The CD LCD Display will advance to “02” and blink to prompt for the next track to be entered.
4. You may repeat steps #2 to #3 to program up to 20 tracks for CD and 99 tracks for CD/MP3. As soon as you have entered the 20th track, the CD LCD Display will automatically show the programmed tracks one by one in their correct sequence starting from the first selection. At the end of program review, “01” in the CD LCD Display, and CD Program Indicator light will appear on CD LCD Display.
5. Press the CD Play Button to complete and start the programmed sequence. Press the CD Stop Button to stop.
6. Normally, all the programmed tracks will be played through once and then stop, however, you may use the CD repeat functions noted above. You may also tap the CD Skip/Search Forward Button to go directly to the other track(s) ahead during the programmed sequence or the CD Skip/Search Backward Button to go back to previous track(s).
7. To cancel the programmed sequence, press the CD Stop Button twice while the program playback is running.

CASSETTE OPERATION

Play Back

1. Press the Power button to the power on position.
2. Press the Source button to the Tape mode.
3. Press the Cassette Stop/Eject Button to open the Cassette Door, insert a pre- recorded cassette tape with the exposed tape facing upwards and close the Cassette Door.
4. Press the Cassette Play Button to play the cassette tape and adjust the Volume Control to the desired volume level. To pause playback, press the Cassette Pause Button.
5. While the tape is stopped, press the Cassette Fast Forward Button or the Cassette Rewind Button to fast forward or rewind the tape. Press the Cassette Stop Button when finished.
6. When the tape reaches the end while playing, the unit will automatically stop.

Recording Mode
This unit can record from the FM Radio, CD, Bluetooth, or the Aux-in (audio line in) mode. With a blank cassette tape inserted, press the Source button to the CD/USB/BT/AUX, FM position. While listening to the Radio, CD, Bluetooth, or the Aux-in (audio line in) mode, press the Record Button and the tape will Start to record.
NOTE: Always press the Cassette Stop Button with every cassette operation. While playing a cassette tape and you wish to rewind or fast forward, press the Cassette Stop Button first then the Cassette Fast Forward Button or the Cassette Rewind Button. The same goes with the cassette recording mode.

USB OPERATION

Play Back

1. Plug the USB flash drive into the USB socket. Press the Source button to USB position. Total number of tracks and USB indicator will show on the LCD Display.
2. Press CD Play/Pause Button to start play the track on the USB.
3. Press and hold the CD Skip/Search Forward or CD Skip/Search Backward Button to search within the current track with audible high-speed playback.
4. During playback, press the CD Play/Pause Button to pause USB playback and press again to resume.
5. During playback, press the CD Program/Folder +/+10 Button to skip to next folder or long press to activate +10 function.
6. Press CD Stop Button to stop the USB play.
7. After all tracks have been played; the USB player will stop automatically.

NOTE: – This unit only supports FAT32 format USB device.

AUX IN OPERATION

This player features an Aux-in (audio line in) jack for connecting your smartphone, MP3 player or other digital music player.

1. Connect an Aux-in / audio line in cable (not included) from your external device to the AUX IN Jack.
2. Press Power button to the AUX mode.
3. Press the Power source to the AUX position. It will enter the Aux-in function mode once an external device is plugged into the Aux-in jack.
4. Start to play your music from the external audio device.
5. Slowly adjust both volume controls on the unit and the external device.
6. Disconnect the external device when finished listening and turn off the unit.

NOTE: Once the AUX IN jack is plugged, the CD player will automatically enter the AUX function mode. Remember to disconnect the cable from the product after use in order to be able to listen to the CD player again.

USING HEADPHONES (NOT INCLUDED)

Inserting the plug of your headphone into the Headphone Jack will enable you to listen to the CD, Radio or Cassette music in private. When using headphone, the Built-in speakers will be disconnected.

CAUTION:

• Avoid excessive volume levels for long period of time when using the earphone. Prolonged use at high levels may impair your hearing.
• Keep the volume at a reasonable level even if your headset is an open-air type designed to allow you to hear outside sounds. Please note that excessively high volume may still block outside sounds.

ABOUT CASSETTE TAPE

Whenever you record on a cassette tape, any previously recorded material is erased as the new material is recorded. To prevent you from accidentally erasing material which you wish to save, blank cassette tapes are equipped with erase prevention tabs for each side of the tape. If the erase prevention tab for side A is removed, you cannot accidentally record on side A. The Cassette Record Button cannot be pressed if the erase prevention tab on the cassette tape has been removed. To prevent accidental erasing on side A of a cassette tape, use a small screwdriver or similar tool to break off the erase prevention tab for side A as shown in below illustration number 1. This prevents the record key from form-locking. If you later wish to record on side A of the cassette tape, cover the tab opening with a piece of thin clear tape. This will allow to record again.

Cassette Tape Care
Two most common issues experienced when using cassette tapes are:

1. Tape Jamming – Leading to uneven speed in playback.
2. Tape Tangling – Where the tape wraps itself around vital parts of the mechanism.

To prevent these issues from occurring, the following precautions should be observed:
Check that there are no loose layers or extra slack of tape visible through the cassette center window (see Fig. 1). Take up any loose layers or extra slack
by using a pencil or hexagonal barreled ballpoint pen before inserting the cassette into the machine (see Fig.2).

lf the cassette feels tight while performing operation shown (see Fig.2), the tape may be jamming due to ridges formed in the winding of the tape (visible through the center window). These may be removed, in most cases, by fast- forwarding or rewinding the cassette tape from one end to the other and back again.
It is recommended to only use well-known brands of cassette tapes. Avoid using C-120 cassette tapes.
Furthermore, do not expose cassette tapes to direct sunlight, dust, or oil, and do not touch the tape surfaces.

HEAD CLEANING
The tape heads, pinch roller and capstan require periodic cleaning. This removes particles of the metal oxide coating that wears off the cassette tapes and accumulates on these parts and impair performance. To clean these cassette player parts, turn the power off and open the Cassette Door. Using a cotton swab or cotton pad dampened with isopropyl alcohol or cassette tape head cleaner solution, gently clean these cassette player parts.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Noise or sound distorted on
FM broadcast| – Station not tuned properly for FM.| – Retune the FM broadcast station.
– Reposition the unit until the best reception is obtained.
FM no sound| – Unit not in Radio function mode.
– Volume set at minimum| – Press the Source button to FM position. – Increase Volume.
CD player will not play| – Unit not in CD function mode. – CD is not loaded properly.
– If the CD is self-compiled, the
media used may not be

– Load CD with label side up.
– Use better quality blank media and retest.
