Q &A:
Q1: The camera does not power on or appear “Low battery”?
A1: Make sure to always keep the camera plugged into power because the camera’s internal battery is NOT intended to last more than 3-5 minutes depending on the video resolution you choose.
Q2: Powers on and off consistently while driving?
A2: This situation may be caused by the SD card being full, please format the SD card first (see page 14 of the user manual).
If the issue still after you have the SD card formatted, then the root cause of this problem is the card speed can’t support 4K video recording, please purchase a Class 10, U3 Speed Micro-SD Card, recommended SD card for A1 (support up to 256 GB): please go to amazon.com search: B0887GP791 and format the new SD card via the dashcam before use.

About Parking Monitor

Unlike any other dash cams, A1-4K has two distinct parking mode features. (1) Internal Battery Parking Mode (NO additional accessories needed) This parking mode works from the camera’s internal battery. NO additional accessories are needed. The camera’s internal battery is designed to last about 3-5 minutes when fully charged.
How does it work? – When your car is parked and the camera is turned OFF, and if someone hits your car and if the impact reaches the set Parking Monitoring sensitivity level, then the camera will turn ON and record a 1-Minute video, then power off. It will lock and save that video in the emergency locked folder so it does not get deleted by the loop cycle function. (2) 24-Hours Parking Mode
-Requires continuous power and Navycrest Ultimate Hard Wire Kit
How does it work? – This parking mode allows you to record the whole night while you are away. Also if someone hits your car, and if the impact reaches Its set G-Sen -sor level then the camera will record video capturing every detail. It will lock and save that video in the emergency locked folder so it does not get deleted by the loop cycle function.

CAUTION
This feature will keep the A1 dashcam recording video all the time until the hardwire kit disconnects power automatically when voltages reach below 11.6V or 23.5V, and then the A1 dashcam will be powered off. A1 dashcam will not power off as the car is shut off. So when connecting the hardwire kit, there is no need to connect the red wire ACC.
