Note
- RX / TX mode can only be successfully switched after the adapter is turned off for 3 seconds. After the switch, the pairing history of the devices will be cleared.
- The SPDIF and AUX mode can be freely switched.
- In SPDIF mode, connect devices through SPDIF IN for TX mode and SPDIF OUT for RX mode.

How to Use
Charging
- Connect the Micro USB end of the charging cable to the charging port of the Bluetooth adapter.
- Plug the USB end of the charging cable to a USB charging port or any active USB port.
- The LED indicator will turn red when charging. It will automatical-ly turn off when the device is fully charged.
Note
- You can use the adapter while it is charging.
- We recommend charging the unit for at least 2 hours before using it for the first time.
Pairing
Pair in TX mode
- Set the S3 to TX mode and connect it to your non-Bluetooth audio transmitting device.
- Place your Bluetooth audio receiving device, like earphones or speakers, within a 3 feet / 1 meter range and set it to pairing mode.
- Turn on the S3 and tap the Power Button twice to enter pairing mode. After approximately 10 seconds, pairing will be complete.
Note
- In order to achieve low latency, please make sure your receiving Bluetooth device also support Qualcomm® aptX™ Low Latency codec, otherwise you may experience noticeable lag between sound and picture.
- Please make sure your optical cable is plugged in SPDIF IN port/AUX in TX mode.
- Please do not connect S3 to an amplifier output in TX mode, which may cause over-voltage and damage the adapter.
Pair in RX mode
- Set the S3 to RX mode and connect it to your non-Bluetooth audio receiving device.
- Turn on the S3 and tap the Power Button twice to enter pairing mode.
- Activate the Bluetooth® function on your transmitting device – phone / tablet, and search for the nearby Bluetooth® devices.
- Find “SOUNDPEATS S3” in the search results and tap on it to connect. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue.
Note
- The adapter will enter pairing mode automatically when powered on for the first time.
- The original pairing memory will be cleared after a mode switch.
- It will automatically start pairing each time it’s powered on.
- The adapter can remember previously paired devices and will attempt to pair with devices automatically, without going into pairing mode.
- Please make sure your optical cable is plugged in SPDIF OUT/AUX port in RX mode.
Pair with two devices at the same time In TX mode
In TX mode, the adapter is able to pair with two Bluetooth stereo earphones/speakers at the same time.
- Follow the previous instructions in the “Pairing” section to pair the S3 with your first device.
- Turn off the Bluetooth function on your first device, tap the Power Button twice to pair and connect to your second device.
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on your first device. In approximately 10 seconds, the first device will automatically connect in.
Note
- When you pair with two devices, both can play music at the same time.
- The adapter will automatically re-pair when powered on.
In RX mode
In RX mode, the adapter is able to pair with two Bluetooth devices at the same time
- Follow previous instructions in the “Pairing” section to pair the S3 with your first device. Disable the Bluetooth function on your first device. Tap the Power Button twice to pair with the second device.
- Turn on the Bluetooth of the first device, now the S3 adapter is successfully paired with both devices.
Note
- Only one device can play music at any time. You have to stop the music on one device to play on the other.
- The adapter will automatically re-pair when powered on.
