Frequently Asked Questions

  • In Skullcandy Indy, how can I change modes?
When you tap the LEFT or RIGHT bud 2x and hold for 2 seconds while they are paired, you will hear a voice prompt telling you when it changes to a new pre- set EQ. Each time you complete the touch 2x and hold for 2 seconds action, the EQ modes will cycle through.\ When your

  • Skullcandy case is fully charged, how do you know?
Place your earbuds in the charging case to charge them. While charging, the earbud LEDs will be solid red. When the LEDs are fully charged, they will turn off.

  • On Indy ANC, how do I turn off noise cancellation?
Tap either bud once and then quickly touch the same bud for 2 seconds to toggle/alternate between your ANC ON/OFF and Ambient Modes.

  • How can I increase the volume of my Skullcandy?
Many customers have discovered that lowering the volume by gently touching your headphones until they reach the lowest possible volume, then repeating the process with the other earbuds by slowly tapping to increase the volume, addressed the problem.

  • How loud are Skullcandy earbuds?
Almost all of their headphones have the ability to get really loud and bassy. While the Sesh don’t have as much bass as the Crusher, they do have amplified bass that comes through after you get a good fit.

  • What does the Skullcandy push case’s button do?
A button on the front of the case displays the charge state with four LEDs next to it. They also flicker while charging the case. A micro USB port on the back charges the case, which then charges the earphones within.

  • What’s the deal with my Skullcandy case blinking?
Open the lid to see how much battery life is left in the case; the solitary LED on the front of the case will flash to indicate the charge level. Each LED flash symbolizes a different level of charge: low, medium, and high.

  • What is the best way to tell if my Skullcandy earbuds are charged?
The earbuds’ LEDs will glow solid red once placed in the case, signaling that they are charging; after fully charged, they will automatically stop charging and the LED light will switch off

  • Why does one of my Skullcandy wireless earphones work but not the other?
In most circumstances, if your left or right Skullcandy earbuds aren’t working, it’s because they didn’t pair with each other. Turn both earphones off, then hold the button on one of them for 10 seconds before putting it in the case. Replace the second earbud and repeat the process.

  • My Skullcandy Bluetooth earphones aren’t connecting to each other.
Ascertain that the two devices are in close enough proximity. It’s probably worth mentioning that any devices you’re trying to link should be within five feet of each other. Turn the devices off and on again. A gentle reset can occasionally fix a problem.
