1-DIN DAB+ Infotainer with adjustable 9-inch display
INSTALLATION
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
- Consult a Qualified technician to obtain instructions. XZENT always recommends professional installation.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- The X-127 comes pre-mounted for the installation into standard 1DIN dash boards
- In case of depth adjustments of the display, please see chapter <>
NOTE:
Most vehicles requires an installation kit, wiring harness and/or antenna
adapters (which are sold separately) to properly install the head unit in a
given vehicle.

STANDARD 1-DIN DASH BOARD INSTALLATION
Remark:
Depth adjustment of the Display requires partial disassembly and adjustment of
the exworks standard mounting setup. This should be done before mounting the
device into the dashboard. See the separate section for this.
If no display depth adjustment hast to be done, proceed with the standard
installation.
Remove the 1-DIN mounting bracket (No. 3) from the main unit and install it
into the dash kit (sold separately) or the dash opening. Bend the tabs to
secure the mounting bracket firmly in place.
Connect all necessary wires to XZENT device, with your vehicle specific setup
(may depend on your vehicle, your optional audio equipment and preferences).
Slide the XZENT main unit into the mounting bracket to lock it in place.
Cover the adjustment mechanism with the corresponding flush cover No.14, with default setup 0mm (see picture).
ADJUSTMENT OF THE DISPLAY POSITION
ADJUSTMENT OF THE DISPLAY POSITION (VERTICAL HEIGHT, HORIZONTAL VIEWING ANGLE AND TILT).
The display of the X-127 can be adjusted vertically in height as well as in viewing angle and tilt.
Note:
- Adjustments to the display should not be made while driving.
- Observe the safety instructions of the vehicle. Also pay attention to the accessibility of buttons such as warning lights or air outlets.
- The display should always be held with both hands „parallel“ (left and right centered) to adjust it.
- The X-127 should be firmly mounted
Viewing angle adjustment and tilt:
Grasp the display at the center of the left and right edges and push with one
hand and pull with the other to adjust the viewing angle. For the tilt angle,
perform a tilting motion away from or toward yourself with bot hands.
Height adjustment:
Grasp the center of the display at the left and right edges and slide the
display up or down.
Depth adjustment requires partial disassembly and adjustment of the standard
mounting. Pay attention to the separate section explaining this.
CUSTOMIZING DISPLAY DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
CUSTOMIZING DISPLAY DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
The depth adjustment of the display can be changed from default 0” setup (0mm) to 1/2“ (12.5mm) or 1” (25mm).

Prerequisite: X-127 is disengaged from 1DIN dashboard and no mounting cage is
fitted.
To unlock the device from 1DIN dashboard, rotate the display group to a 90°
position by holding the panel group with both hands and rotating it clockwise
or anti clockwise for 90°. Loosen the trim bracket No. 4 from main body and
insert the device release keys No.3 at corresponding gap on left and right
side (centre, between the main body and the 1-DIN mounting bracket – see
picture). The release keys need to be inserted deep enough to disengage the
clamp of the mounting bracket. Pull the X-127 out once the mounting bracket
clamps are fully disengaged.
Step 1:
Remove the cover No.14 of the adjustment mechanism
Step 2:
Remove the 4 outer top screws and leave the center screw fastened. Gently pull
the display-mounting-bracket by pulling on the display panel from the chassis
to the desired 1/2″ or 1“ position. To lock it in place, fasten the 4 outer
top screws (see figure).
On demo pictures the Display panel group is not visible to allow better visibility of the top screws.
Step 3:
Reinstall or install the X-127 to 1DIN dash board (see separate chapter).
Installation process is same as default but other covers No.14 for the
adjustment mechanism is required at the end.
