Safety information

■ Notice
To guarantee proper and consistent operation, it is important to follow the guidelines in this manual. Our company will not accept responsibility for damages resulting from the misuse of this fixture due to the disregard of the information printed in this manual.

■ Mounting surfaces
It is permissible to mount the fitting on normally flammable surfaces.
Please do not install the fixture onto combustible surface. Ensure a minimum clearance of 0.2m around the cooling fans and ventilation.

■ Maximum ambient temperature
The fixture is intended for indoor application.
**** Do not operate the fixture if the ambient temperature (Ta) exceeds 38.

■ Temperature of the external surface
The maximum temperature that can be reached on the external surface of the fitting, in a thermally steady state, is 60.

■ Protection against electrical shock
Connection must be made to a power supply system fitted with efficient earthing(Class appliance according to standard EN60598-1).
It is, moreover, recommended to protect the supply lines of the projectors from indirect contact and/or shorting to earth by using appropriately sized residual current devices.

■ Connection to mains supply
The double insulation between t he LV power supply and the control conductor on the fixture.
Connection to the electricity mains must be carried out by a qualified electrical installer.
Check that the mains frequency and voltage correspond to those for which the projector is designed as given on the electrical data label.
This label also gives the input power to which you need to refer to evaluate the maximum number of fittings to connect to the electricity line, in order to avoid overloading. Don’t use the power cable when the insulation is damaged. It must be the manufacturer or distributor or the professional person to change the damaged power cable in order to avoid any dangerous.

■ Protection against explosion
The protection screen, lens or ultraviolet screen on the lamp can be damaged to the degree of failure if visible damage, such as a crack or deep mark,  should be replaced.

■  Protection optical radiation
Never look directly into the light source. You risk injury to your retina, which may induce blindness.

■  Maintenance
Never open this fixture while in use.
Please disconnect the power supply when begin to maintenance take down the light.

The light source in this fixture shall be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or similar qualification.. Do not revise the fixture or install any parts not from our company. Please be aware that damages caused by modifications to the device are not subject to warranty.

Functional introduction

1. Dimmer
   Manually linear dimmer, smooth and even dimming through the whole dimming range 0-100%

2. Frost
   Frost filter, impart frosted effect to light beam.

3. Iris
   Manually mechanical iris, used to regulate spot diameter.

4. Beam shaper
   Beam shaper system, cut light beam vertically on both sides.

5. Focus
   Focusing optics can be used to sharpen the casting beam.

6. Zoom
   Zooming range:4° to 12°(330W450W); 5° to 10°(470W)

7. Gobo
   Manually replace gobos.

8. Color temperature
   Standard Color temperature 3200K, manually adjustment.

9. Color changer
   Color changer, designated with 5 color paper clips which are intended for changing colors of the casting beam by interchanging preset color papers.

Assembling

1. Tripod assembling
   1.1.Take out the Stand from packing carton and put it away (as picture 1), unscrew the sliders ( number 1,number 2).
   1.2. Outward pull the stand feet or downward press the slider (as picture 2)
   1.3.Twist the screw(number 5), then adjust the lifting handle to the suitable height and tighten the screw (number 5).

2. Light assembling
   2.1. Take out the Backing plate and Slider( as picture 3), then assemble and fix the U-type stand plate (as picture 4).
   2.2.Take out the light from packing carton, to aim and install the assembling site of the light to the mounting holes (number 3, number 4) of U-type stand plate and fix the screws( as picture 5).
   After assembling as picture 6, to adjust the lifting handle to the suitable height.

Lamp-on operation

1. Fist connect the follow spot to the mains via power cable, turn on power switch, push down lamp switch key to ignite the lamp.
2. Turn on levers subsequently, and a casting beam comes out of the fixture.

   3. Lamp switchplease re-turn on the lamp at least 2 minutes later after the lamp turns off .

Keep the handle down when put the Stand into the fly case as the above picture

Fixture dimension

Lamp replacement

1. When the lamp totally cooling down, loose the crew, open the rear cover.
2. Pull out the lamp cable.
3. Press the lamp softly, lamp can be got out.
4. Install the lamp and connect the cable.
5. Close and lock the rear cover.
6. The replacement is complete.

Before operation, read the manufacturer avoid to the contretemps. Otherwise, the manufacturer have not any respond if installation don’t following the above-mention lead to the projector fall and bring into the result.

CAUTION:

1. Only install the lamp with the device switched off!
2. Unplug from mains before!
3. The lamp has to be replaced when it is damaged or deformed due to the heat.

Colored paper installation

1. Undo the 3 screws on the colored paper fixed plate as picture 1.

2. Neatly put the colored paper into the middle of the fixed plate as picture 2, then pull up the colored paper as the direction of arrow as picture 3.

3. Tighten the 3 screws, and use the scissors to trim the colored paper as picture 4.
   Remark: the size of colored paper is 215X215mm

Cleaning and serving

To ensure reliable operation, the projector shall be kept clean. It is recommended that the machine and the fan be clean every 15 days. The lens and the color separation filter shall be cleaned regularly to ensure optimal lighting effect. Note, no soluble detergent shall be used on the color separation filter

Troubleshooting

It is recommended some solution for some normal trouble shooting. any unsolutioned problems should always be handle by the professional person. Disconnect the power supply before maintenance the light

◎ Lamp off

1. Please check if install the suitable lamp
2. Please check the connection of the power supply or switch is ok
3. The lamp is in over heat protection status due to high interior temperature. check whether the fan and the air duct are blocked
4. Ballast damaged

◎ The light works intermission

1. Please check if the fan works normally or mote clogging
2. Please check if the lamp is to the usage life.
