Getting Started
Insert 2 AA batteries. Match the + and – marks.
Note: Make sure TV is ON before starting remote control setup.
Tip: The LED will blink 5 times with each key-press when batteries need
replacement
Setup Method A:
- Press and hold SETUP until LED blinks twice.
- Press the TV POWER key, LED remains ON.
- Press and hold down the DIGIT key for your TV brand.
- Let go of the key when your TV turns Setup is complete
Tip: If your brand does not appear on popular TV brand chart, try either Method B or Method C to setup the remote to control your TV.

TROUBLESHOOTING
- Problem: LED does not blink when a key is pressed.
- Solution: Replace batteries.
- Problem: TVdoes not respond when TV POWER or VOLUME keys are pressed.
- Solution: Program remote control for your TV brand using instructions in Setup Method A, B, or C.
- Problem: Tried all codes for my TV brand and none work.
- Solution: Try CODE SEARCH (Setup Method B) method or go to www.urcsupport.com for additional suppot
Setup Method B:
NOTE: Make sure TV is ON before starting remote control setup.
- Press and hold SETUP until LED blinks twice.
- Press and hold down the OK/SELECT key.
- Let go of the OK/SELECT key when the TV turns.
Setup Method C:
Note: Make sure TV is ON before starting remote control setup
- Press and hold SETUP until LED blinks twice.
- Enter the 1st TV code for your brand from the code list to the right. LED blinks twice.
- Press the TV POWER key to test TV control. If the TV turns , setup is complete.
- If TV does not turn , repeat this process using the next code for your Tbrand.
Set volume control for the TV:
- Press and hold SETUP for 3 seconds. The LED will blink twice.
- Press VOL +. The LED will blink twice as conrmation
Set volume control for the DTA:
- Press and hold SETUP for 3 seconds. The LED will blink twice.
- Press MUTE. The LED will blink 4 times.
