The appliance may only be operated in a dry environment. When in operation, there must be no bodies of water or similar such as a swimming pool or pond within a radius of 3 meters of the unit.
-
Only connect the appliance to a socket which has been installed and earthed correctly. It must be ensured that the socket is protected by a residual current circuit breaker (30mA). Ensure that the mains cable and the mains plug are always protected against moisture. Make sure that the power line is protected with an adequate inline fuse (≥13A).

Charcoal or similar combustible fuels must not be used with this appliance.
-
Select a location for operating the grill where there are no flammable materials within a 60 cm radius. This distance applies to all outer edges of the grill.
Loose food residues, fat and gravy may ignite. The design with water/drip tray and reflectors prevents grease fires as far as possible. However, flames can still form due to dripping fat on the hot surfaces. -
Prevent grease from accumulating.
-
Remove any coarse dirt from the cooking chamber, heating elements and accessories prior to operation.
-
All parts which get hot must be cleaned before each use.
When the door to the cooking chamber is opened, a draft is created. Baking paper can touch the heating elements and catch fire. -

Close the wind and splash guard as well as the oven door, and keep them both closed to smother any flames that may occur.
-
Pull out the mains plug to disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
Unsuitable extension cables and sockets may become charred and cause residual currents. There is a risk of material damage and/or personal injury. -
Only use extension cables and sockets which are suitable for outside use, and which are fit-ted with a Schuko plug and have a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm².
-
Only connect the appliance to a grounded socket outlet protected by a residual current circuit breaker (30mA) .
-
Fit the cable as short as possible and no lon-ger than 4 m.
-
Unroll the extension cable in full.
Using an external core temperature thermome-ter can lead to malfunctions and to the heating element overheating. -
Only the original core temperature thermom-eter recommended for this oven may be used.
The appliance may overheat when covered. -
Do not cover the appliance and do not place any objects on the wind and splash guard.

Fruit juice dripping from the baking tray leaves stains that cannot be removed.
-
Do not overfill the baking tray.
Using oven cleaning products in a warm cook-ing chamber can damage the surface. -
Never use oven cleaning products in a warm cooking chamber.
-
Any residue from the cooking chamber and from the oven door must be completely removed before heating it up again.
