SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users. Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.
  • This appliance is intended for household use only. Do not use for industrial or commercial purposes.
  • If operating the device in a damp location is unavoidable, use a protected residual current device (RCD) supply. The use of a RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
  • Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as a dust masks, non-slip safety shoes, a protective helmet or hearing protection will reduce personal injuries.
  • Prevent unintentional startings of the machine. Make sure that the device is off before connecting it to a power source and/or battery pack, picking it up or carrying it.
  • Do not overreach.
  • Do not use the device if its power switch does not turn it on and off.
  • Use the device and its accessories following these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. The usage of the device for any operation different from those intended could provoke a hazardous situation. Do not use the device on leather, furniture, floors polished with wax, parquet floors, synthetic fabrics, velvet, silk or any other materials non-steamproof.
  • Do not fill the device with warm water or liquids like aromatic, alcohol-based or detergent products. This could damage the device.
  • The device uses hot steam to disinfect the area, which means that the safety valve, the steam nozzle and the ironing-brush mop may become very hot during operation.
  • Do not direct the steam at people, animals, plants, electrical devices or sockets.
  • This appliance is not intended to be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way by a person responsible for their safety, and understand the hazards involved. Unplug the device from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning it. Allow it to cool before installing or removing any part.
  • If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of danger.
  • Do not open the safety valve when the device is operating. The use of accessories not recommended by Cecotec may cause malfunctions. The device is not intended for outdoor use.
  • Do not place the device close to any heat source (such as fire, a radiator, a heater and similar).
  • Do not pull the cord around sharp corners or edges.
  • Use the device and its accessories following these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed.

BEFORE USE

  • Take the product out of the box.
  • Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
  • Make sure all the components are included and in good conditions, otherwise, contact immediately the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
  • The device uses hot and high-pressure steam for cleaning floors, windows and clothes.
  • This method kills the bacteria and removes the dust. Moreover, it does not use any chemical product, therefore it does not pollute.
  • It has an automatic heating control system to continue producing steam for cleaning.

PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

Water refilling

  • Disconnect the plug from the wall-socket.

  • Press the steam-releasing trigger to release the steam until none comes out.

  • Let the device cool down for at least three minutes and then remove the safety valve turning
    it counterclockwise.

  • Fill the measuring cup with 350 ml of purified water.

  • Assemble the safety valve and fix it tightly turning it clockwise.

  • Plug it in and pre-heat it for 4 minutes until the green indicator light is off.

Bent nozzle and steam hose assembly

  • Install the bent nozzle directly into the main body. Fig. 3

  • If needed, insert the steam hose firstly. Fig. 4

  • To disassemble it, press the accessory securing button and remove it. Fig. 5

Small nozzle connection

  • Install the small nozzle to the bent nozzle turning it anticlockwise. Fig. 6

  • To disassemble it, turn it clockwise. Fig. 7

  • Follow the same procedure for the nylon and the metallic brush.

How to use the soap bottle

  • Disassemble the soap bottle and fill it with detergent. Assemble it back to the main body (fig. 8) and adjust the steam flow by turning it. To increase the amount of detergent, turn it anticlockwise. Fig. 9

  • We recommend using specific cleaning agents for steamers.

Floor brush assembly
Fix the extension tube to the main body, then assemble the floor brush (fig. 10). Fix the floor brush to the extension tube. Attach the floor cleaning brush.

OPERATION

Functions

  • Sterilization and anti-bacteria function
  • Assemble the bent nozzle and press the steam-releasing trigger for spraying the steam to the desired area.

Clothes cleaning function
Install the ironing brush and the ironing mop. Press the steam-releasing trigger and spray steam to the desired area.

Deep cleaning function
Install the soap bottle with soap inside. Press the steam-releasing trigger and spray steam to the desired area, for example, at a kitchen fan, kitchen stove, toilet, etc.

Floor cleaning function
Install the floor cleaning brush and attach its mop. Press the steam-releasing trigger and spray steam to the desired area.

Operation

  • Open the package and check no parts are missing.
  • Place the steamer on a horizontal table and remove the safety valve anticlockwise.
  • Fill the measuring cup with 270-350 ml of water and close the safety valve clockwise.
  • Plug the device into a wall socket.
  • Pre-heat the unit for 4 minutes approximately. Unlock the child-safety system and press the steam-releasing trigger to check whether it works or not.
  • Install the desired accessory by pressing the accessory securing button.
  • Assemble the accessory securing button.
    Unlock the child-safety system and press the steam-releasing trigger again to start the cleaning.

Safety
The device has an auto-off protection system against overheating. It has a central system to keep the steam temperature constantly at 130 ºC, in order to kill all the bacteria at the same time. It includes an automatic pressure releasing function so when the pressure inside the tank is too high, it will automatically be eleased. It also has a double-layer cord which will prevent the product from water and dust.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the product’s parts.
  • Do not use solvents or any other chemical product for cleaning it.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid and make sure no water gets into the machine.
  • Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.
  • If anything unusual happens during use of the item, turn the device off. Pull the plug from the power source and check the device thoroughly. Maintenance and repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician from Cecotec.
  • Use only parts and components provided with the original product by Cecotec.
  • Store the machine, the instructions manual and the accessories in the original packaging. This way you can always have all the information at hand.
  • Store the device and all accessories in a dry, clean, frost-free place that is protected from direct sunlight and cannot be accessed by children or animals. Do not place the device near a heat source.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem

  1. Less steam / no steam
  2. Steam-releasing trigger can’t be pressed
  3.  Device expels water

Possible cause

  • 1.1. It is not connected to a wall socket
  • 1.2. Not enough water inside
  • 1.3. The steam nozzle is plugged incorrectly
  • 2. The child-safety lock is activated
  • 3.1. Contains too much water
  • 3.2. The device is too tilted

Solution

  • 1.1. Plug the device into a wall socket
  • 1.2. Refill it with water
  • 1.3. Disassemble the nozzle and clean it
  • 2. Unlock the child-safety system and press the steam-releasing trigger at the same time
  • 3.1. Reduce the amount of water to 270-350 ml
  • 3.2. Do not tilt the appliance too much (less than a 30 º angle)

DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

  • The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), specifies that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of with the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
  • The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly. If the product has a built-in battery or uses batteries, they should be removed from the appliance and disposed of appropriately.
  • Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE AND WARRANTY

  • This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.
  • The warranty will not cover the following situations:
  • The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
  • The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
  • Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
  • The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
