DEVICE SETUP

  1.  Remove the fan from the packaging and make sure the accessories are complete.
  2.  Assemble the fan as follows:
    • Assemble the rear and front sockets (see Fig. 1).
    •  Insert the device body onto the base (see Fig. 2).
    •  After assembly, place the device in a suitable location.

If you hear a beep the fi rst time the power plug is plugged into the mains outlet, it means that the fan has been properly connected. When the device is in standby mode, only the On / Off button can be pressed.

On/Off

| In standby mode, only this button is available. After pressing this button the fan will be switched on. The fan will run initially at low speed and in normal mode. Timer and vibration functions will be deactivated. The corresponding LED indica- tors will light up. The operating status, which was active at power off except for the timer and mode function, will be automatically restored at power up. If you press the On / Off button in the operat- ing status, the device will enter standby mode.

Level

| Press this button to select the desired fan speed, in order of low to high (levels). The correspond- ing number will appear on the display up.

Timer

| When you turn the unit on, the timer function will be disabled. Press the TIMER button to set the time until the unit automatically turns off. You can

choose between 1H-2H-4H-8H-no timer-1H, etc. The corresponding LED indicator will light up. If the timer has been activated, the device will run until the countdown expires and then turn off automatically.

Mode

| The initially set mode is ‘Normal’. Press the Mode button repeatedly to set a different wind mode. You may select between ‘Normal’ – ‘Sleep-

ing’ – ‘Natural’ – ‘Eco’ – ‘Normal’ by repeat- edly pressing this button. The corresponding LED indicator will light up (except in Normal mode).

    •  HI: 30 minutes “HI” natural wind—30 minutes ”MED” natural wind
    •  MED: 30 minutes “MED” natural wind—Remain “LOW” natural wind speed
    •  LOW: Remain “LOW” natural wind speed

Eco-Modus
In this mode, the unit will run at temperatures below 25 ° C at low speed, at temperatures between 25 ° C and 29 ° C at medium speed and at temperatures above 29 ° C at high speed Automatic dimming function: If no button has been pressed for more than 1 minute, the backlight will automatically be dimmed by 30%.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Replacing the batteries of the remote control

  1.  Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert a 3V CR2032 battery.
  2.  Point the remote control at the receiver of the device.
  3.  Remove the batteries from the remote control when not in use. Observe the correct polarity when inserting the batteries. Once you close the battery compartment after inserting the battery, the remote control will be ready for use.

Cleaning
If too much dust accumulates on the front ventilation cover and on the fan wheel, the functionality of the air outlet will be impaired. It is recommended to clean the fan at least once a month.

  1.  Turn off the power and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before cleaning, as this could result in electric shock or damage to the unit.
  2.  Clean the device with a standard detergent and a brush. Do not use chemical substances.

Surface cleaning

  1.  Make sure that no water or steam get on the unit.
  2.  Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
  3.  Always unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before cleaning.

Storage

  1.  Disconnect the power plug from the wall outlet and store in a cardboard box to prevent dust from entering the inside of the unit.
  2.  After packing, store the device in a dry, well-ventilated place.
