Under no circumstances are Rennstall’s products to be used on public roads or any other streets, highways, or off-road areas. Rennstall’s products are solely intended for use on vehicles operated on closed-course facilities, show events or racetracks, each with appropriate supervision of qualified individuals to ensure safety of all involved parties.

Always use caution when installing or using Rennstall’s products, adhere to all instructions, only utilize provided hardware or tools, and do not modify or otherwise alter the products.

Prior to any usage of Rennstall’s products, a buyer or user shall inspect and verify the integrity of the entire vehicle upon which such products are mounted, installed, or otherwise attached. Vehicles are to be inspected before each use for evidence of damage, defect, or wear to ensure the vehicle is fit and ready for operation. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, buyer or user shall specifically inspect all bolts after each usage in excess of Two Hundred (200) kilometres per hour or One Hundred Twenty-Five (125) miles per hour.

Under no circumstances and under no legal theory whether in tort, contract, or otherwise shall Rennstall or its employees, agents, representatives, successors, or assigns, be liable to a buyer, user or any other person for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind arising out of or relating to the installation or usage of the products, even if Rennstall has been informed of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by any other party.

Preparation: Relieve some of the bike`s weight at the fork using a scissor lift.

Steps:

  1. Loosen the fork clamping bolts at the top triple tree and remove the fork tube covers.

  2. On the right fork tube disconnect the cover from the damper rod. Make sure the damper rod doesn`t slide back into the fork tube.

  3. Clean and degrease the thread on the damper rod and apply some medium strength screw adhesive (for example blue LOCTITE).

  4. Clamp the damper rod with pliers and install the PRELOADER. Turn it all the way.
    Note: Before installing the PRELOADERs, make sure the adjustment screws are turned maximum towards ROAD.

  5. Push the right PRELOADER into the fork tube and tighten it using a 36mm socket. On the left fork tube simply screw in the PRELOADER and also tighten it with a 36mm socket.

  6. Loosen the fork clamping bolts at the lower triple tree and twist the fork tube until the line marking between RACE and ROAD points up.

  7. Torque the top and bottom fork clamping bolts down to 25Nm (18.4 ft·lb).

! Let the screw adhesive harden for 24h before the first ride!

Tech Tip: If you are using Touratech Black T springs, in order to lift the front and improve handling, push the fork tube 5-10mm further down into the triple trees.
