GETTING STARTED
– Pull battery insulator (if installed) to activate the timer. Otherwise
– Press and hold MODE button for 2 seconds until the LCD display is activated.
CLOCK/ ALARM/ TIMER MODE
Press MODE button simultaneously to view the various modes:
(a) Clock Mode
(i) Under clock mode, press and hold MODE button until the digits start
blinking
(ii) Press the Hour/ Minute buttons as many times as necessary to set the
current clock time.
Alternatively, press and hold the Hour I Minute button to advance to the set
value quicker. Release button when the required value is reached.
(iii) Press MODE button to acknowledge the clock time is set or leave unit
idle for 1 minute to confirm the clock time set.
(iv) 12/24 Hour clock format
Under clock mode, press the HOUR button to toggle select between 12/24 hour
format. The letter ‘P’ will show up when the clock time is between 12:00pm to
11 :00pm.
(b) Alarm Mode
(i) Alarm 1
– Press MODE button until the display shows Alarm 1 icon “ 1 “.
– Press and hold MODE button until the digits start blinking to enter ‘Alarm
1’ setting mode.
– Press the HOUR/ MINUTE buttons to set the alarm time for ‘alarm 1 ‘.
– Once the alarm time is set, press MODE button to confirm.
The alarm time 1 will stop blinking. The display will show the alarm time set
for alarm 1 and also the icon “ 1″ is visable.
(ii) To set the alarm for Alarm 2 ( 2), Alarm 3 ( 3), Alarm 4 ( 4) and Alarm 5
( 5 ), follow the same setting procedures as alarm 1 above.
(iii) Disable alarm
– Press MODE to select the alarm time from 1 – 5 which you want disabled.
– Press the MINUTE button, the alarm time on the display will change to 4 dash
lines (see diagram below). The alarm is now disabled:-
(iv) Alarm sound/ Vibration
When the alarm sound go off, it will be in the following alarm sound/
vibration sequence:
– First 10 seconds: Beep and Vibrate
– Second 30 seconds: Beep at a rapid speed
– Last 20 seconds: Beep and Vibrate at a rapid speed
Press any key to stop the alarm sound and vibration.
(c) Countdown Timer
– Press the MODE button as many times as necessary until the display show the
timer mode:
– Press and hold MODE button until the timer digits start blinking.
– Press HOUR/ MINUTE buttons to set the desired countdown time.
– Press MODE button to confirm the countdown time set.
– Press the MINUTE button to start/stop the countdown timer.
– Once the timer start to countdown, the icon “ ” will start blinking.
– When the timer reaches its final minute, the display will change and show
the countdown timer for the last 59 seconds:
– The timer will beep and vibrate for 1 minute similar to the alarm function.
– Press any button to stop the sound.
– Once the alarm sound is stopped, the display will revert to the previous
countdown time set.
– To set a new countdown time, press and hold MODE button to enter setting
mode.
Note: A new countdown time can only be set when the timer has stopped running. If the timer is running, press the MINUTE button to stop it.
If you see the timer icon in clock mode, it means the timer is running:
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The Pill box timer uses 1 piece of CR-2032 button cell battery.
– Open the pill box and flip the top lid open with the battery compartment
facing you.
– Remove the screw from the battery cover.
– Take out the old button cell battery and replace with a fresh one.
– Place battery cover back on and secure the screw.
– Set clock time & alarm time.
