choose from, enabling you to work with different doughs and mixtures.
Fold function
The fold function (Fig. E) is used for folding light or runny ingredients into heavier mixtures (e.g. filled muffins, meringues, mousse, foamy foods, sponge mix or soufflés) or to slowly stir flour or other ingredients (e.g. raisins or nuts) into the dough. During folding, the appliance operates at a constant low speed, stops for a few seconds, and then starts folding again. To stop the fold function, set the speed controller (10) to the Off position (0).
Pulse function

The motor operates at maximum speed while the speed controller (10) is set to
the pulse function. The maximum runtime must not exceed one minute.
Planetary mixing system
The planetary mixing system ensures that the ingredients are mixed thoroughly
and evenly. This prevents ingredients/dough from sticking to the edge.
Soft-start
The soft-start function always starts the appliance at a low speed,
irrespective of the selected speed.
The speed gradually increases until it has reached the required setting. This
prevents ingredients spraying out.
Electronic speed regulator
The appliance is equipped with an electronic speed regulator that serves to

Fitting the mixer attachment (2)
Use
The device is suitable for mixing and chopping foods such as fruits,
vegetables, and nuts as well as for preparing juices, smoothies, and shakes.
After mixing/blending the mixing container can be used as a drinking bottle by
replacing the blade unit with a drinking cap.
- Take care not to injure yourself on the sharp blade.
- Ensure that the mixer arm on the food processor is lowered into position.
- Ensure that all accessories (flat beater, dough hook, and whisk) have been removed before starting mixing.
- Note: The mixer function cannot be used at the same time as the appliance’s other functions (beating, etc.).
Getting started
Clean the device before use as described in the chapter entitled “Cleaning and care.”
-
Cut the desired ingredients into small pieces and place them in the mixing container.
Please note not to exceed the max filling quantity of 550ml. Always add at least 100ml of liquid (e.g. water, juice or milk) to ensure that you get a homogeneous mixture.
Tip: The light ingredients should always sit on the blade unit. As the container is rotated to close it we recommend that you add the light ingredients to the container last of all. -
Now screw in the blade unit by twisting it clockwise onto the mixing container. Check that the blade unit is fastened firmly to the mixing container and forms a tight seal.
-
Remove the mixer attachment cover from the mixer arm on the food processor by turning the recessed grips anticlockwise (Fig. K). Stand the mixing container on the relevant recesses in the drive unit and turn the container in a clockwise direction until it locks into place.
Warning: The appliance only works if the mixing container is attached correctly. A safety shutdown prevents operation without the mixing container. -
Now plug the appliance into a mains socket.
-
Now select the function you want: Select the desired speed (1-8) on the speed controller and start the appliance. Start at a low speed and increase if necessary.
To use the pulse function, select PULSE on the speed controller. The motor operates at maximum speed while the speed controller is set to the pulse setting. The maximum runtime must not exceed one minute. -
As soon as the desired result has been achieved, switch the speed controller to the Off position (0).
Unplug the appliance from the main socket before removing the mixing container from the drive unit by turning the container in an anticlockwise direction.
Warning: risk of injury!! Always wait for the blades to come to a complete standstill before removing the lid. -
Turn the mixing container upside-down so that the blade unit is pointing upwards.
-
Turn the blade unit in an anticlockwise direction and remove it.
Caution! Never place the blade unit with the blades pointing downwards. This can damage the blades and scratch surfaces -
Place the cover of the mixer attachment back on the mixer arm of the food processor and turn the recessed grips clockwise (Fig. M).
-
You can now pour out your smoothie, juice, or shake. Alternatively, you can also use the mixing container as a bottle. For this, you must screw the drinking lid onto the mixing container.
