Control valve location Functions Water flow direction
Filter Normal filtering to flush the pool. The water flows through the

filter cartridge, where the sand filter pump lies, and then enters the pool.
Rinse| Water flow in the opposite direction to rinse the filter cartridge.| The water flows through the filter cartridge where the sand filter pump is located and is then directly discharged from the outlet.
Backwash| This function is used for the first launch. The sand in the filter cartridge is rinsed and the sand cartridge is equalized after backwashing.| The water flows through the filter cartridge where the sand filter pump is located and is then directly discharged from the outlet.
Drain| Discharges directly from the drain, used to lower the water level or drain water from the pool.| The water is discharged directly from the discharge outlet of the sand filter pump without passing through the filter bed.
Recirculation| It circulates the pool water without passing through the filter bed.| The water flows directly into the pool via the control valve of the sand filter pump without passing through the filter bed.
Close| Closed water flow between the filter and the pool.| /

NOTE: Check the pressure on the pressure gauge while the sand filter is operating. Generally, when the pressure of the recommended sand filter pump is less than 0.2 bar (3 psi) (green area), it runs normally. Note: Maintenance can only be performed after the sand filtration pump has been disconnected. Otherwise, serious personal injury or even death may result. Note: While the sand filtration pump is running, record the reading on the pressure gauge. When the pressure gauge shows 0.2 bar (3 psi) or higher, clean the sand bed or replace the sand. Use the “backwash” and “rinse” functions. Note: depending on the specific application, we recommend periodic flushing.

Long-term storage and winter storage

Use of the product in a frozen pool may cause damage and void the warranty quality. If the product is to be used with antifreeze, propylene glycol may also be used. Propylene glycol is a non-toxic chemical that will not damage any plastic parts. Other types of antifreeze are highly toxic and can be harmful to the plastic components of the product.

  1. Before draining water or changing the location of the pool, make sure the direction of discharge is toward the drainage ditch and away from the house. Familiarize yourself with local regulations and special water treatment requirements.

  2. Switch off the product and disconnect the power plug.

  3. After emptying, remove all connected sand filtration pumps, notched pipes and filter covers on the pool wall.

  4. Unscrew the drain valve (8) counterclockwise to completely drain the water from the filter. The drain plug is at the bottom of the filter body

  5. Dry the sand filtration pump components and the knurled pipes.

  6. Before long-term storage, lubricate the sealing rings and washers in the order listed below.

  7. The best practice for product storage is to dry the parts and engine and put them in their original packaging. To avoid shrinkage or corrosion, do not cover or wrap the motor in a plastic bag.

  8. Store the motor and components in a dry place at a temperature between 0 °C and 40 °C.

Problem diagnosis and solutions

Problems Check Solution
The engine cannot be started normally The plug is not inserted

correctly.

Leak protection disconnected.

The engine is overheated or overloaded.

It will cause the engine to stop.

| Make sure the power cord is plugged into a 3-core grounded metal outlet. Turn on the circuit breaker. If the problem persists, the power system may be faulty. Turn off the power immediately and consult a specialist.

Allow the engine to cool down and restart it.

Filter The pool cannot be

rinsed

| There is no sand in the filtration. Control valve location error. Water is too dirty. Filter cylinder is clogged.| Filling with sand See instructions for filling with sand.

The control valve rotates to the filter position to extend the run time. Clean the filter cylinder.

The filter cannot discharge water or the water flow is too slow| Clogged entry. Air is leaking in the entrance gap. Excessive impurities in the water. The filter medium is clogged with dirt. The swimming pool is connected to the cleaning equipment.| The water flows through the filter cartridge where the sand filter pump is located and is then directly discharged from the outlet.
Filtration cannot be started| The water level is too low. The filter screen is blocked. Air leakage from the intake manifold. Engine or blade is blocked.| Adjust the level by adding water. Clean the filter screen in the pool.  Tighten the nozzle and check the damage area Replace the fittings.
Water leak at the control valve or top cover| The body sealing ring is missing or too dirty. The control valve holder is not firmly secured or damaged.| Remove the top cover of the control valve and replace the body sealing ring. Clean the body seal ring under running water. Tighten the screw with a screwdriver. Replace the fittings
Pressure gauge not working| The inner wall of the pressure gauge is blocked. The pressure gauge is damaged.| Remove the pressure gauge from the control valve and remove any debris on the inner wall. Replace the fittings.
Sand is getting into the pool| The sand particles are too fine.| Use only quartz sand No. 20. The particle size of the sand is 0.45-0.85 mm or replace the sand.
